Great PO. Nice helpful people there my only "issues" are lack of parking and that they're not open on Saturdays.

This is my neighborhood post office, and these employees are by far much nicer and helpful compared to any other postal worker I have known.

There were 2 workers here when we arrived and the line seemed long, both workers were very pleasant and smiled and made small conversations with each customer. The guy that helped us had a great smile! It was his birthday, so we wished him a Happy Birthday! He helped us with a Change of Address and told us to step aside to fill out the application, but once we were finished, we could walk up to his counter. Metered parking only, and the time for these meters is 30 mins. After waiting in line and filling out our application, we just made it under 30 minutes. I am giving this location 4 stars because of the smiles and positive attitudes I received from the workers today. I am also happy this office is open on the Saturdays.

I have had a least 3 credit cards either lost or stolen in the mail, which is extremely frustrating. The most recent credit card was stolen and the person tried to use it to pay for $200+ at Target! Thankfully a block on the card so they couldn't use it anymore, but they probably just used someone else's stolen card. They really need to crack down on theft. On the occasion I have had to go in for something, I try to go during times I think they'll be less busy. I think the longest I had to wait was 10mins., which could have been much worse so I'll take it. The people working there are usually fine, some even pleasant l, so I gave the review an additional star, but USPS has a long way to go to turn the negative views around.

This location is convenient to my home so I come here more often than to the main one. There is always a line and the line is "molasses slow" . So keep that in mind! The only treat is afterwards, walk over to Petitgrain for a pastry!! There is a free parking lot behind, with a man who guards the lot. He always gives me the "stink eye", but I show him my letters or package and he backs off. Otherwise, there is metered parking.

After they started yelling at me so I let them know I have a dashcam to prove that it seemed intentional and planned. The individuals followed me into the post office and began yelling at me while I was trying to mail my package. I repeatedly asked them to stop speaking to me, but they continued to raise their voices and one of them got very close to me while I was at the counter. What was most disappointing was that the employees working at the front counter did not intervene or ask the individuals to stop causing a disturbance. As a customer, I did not feel supported or safe while trying to conduct my business. Additionally, when it was my turn to be helped, one employee stated that his computer was down and directed me to another clerk. Immediately afterward, I observed that same employee assisting the other customers involved in the altercation, which left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about how the situation was handled. When you observe the situation it seems pretty discriminatory/ racist. I understand that difficult situations can arise, but I believe staff should step in when customers are being harassed inside the facility to help maintain a safe and professional environment.

Normally I don't like to judge people on their appearance but I did get that gut feeling that this place would not be good for me as far as customer service. I felt it deep in my gut. I wish I would have followed my prompting within. I was going to send a package FedEx and I needed to get a copy of something first as far as a Xerox copy. He said that the my electronic copy was too dark a color it would use too much ink and he was close to running out of ink on the copier. I looked at the information that I sent and it was white so I didn't see what the problem was. And I just found it really unprofessional that they don't have extra supplies of ink so they wouldn't be in the predicament of not having enough ink in their copier machine. He showed me that the copy that I wanted was dark on his cell phone. But like I mentioned on my phone it was white. He might have had an ancient phone I don't know. Then he was going to be charging me $5 more than if I went to the FedEx store on Wilshire. And I mentioned to him I usually pay less and he says why don't you go to that store? I reply that if he didn't want my business that I can gather my stuff and go there. Just a really weird interaction. Then he wanted to charge me $1 for me to use my credit card to charge what I was paying. It was just turning into this whole nickel and diming thing. He seemed to be unclear disorganized nothing really made sense. And then he moved to the back of the store and I said aren't you going to help me? He said I could go to fedex. I just promptly took my stuff and left. This was so unnecessarily weird and lots of things that didn't make any sense. Plus he was rude. And strange. And I'm definitely never going to go back.. I noticed that their replies are very rude as well to people who gave their honest opinion here. Very toxic very strange.

Busy Bee: Yes, at times, the line can be quite long, but patience is key, especially leading up to the holidays! There are usually two & once in a while, three stations open & they do a great job getting people through the line as quickly as they can! Parking: Free & plentiful! Note: There are numerous gift cards, as well as fun and thoughtful greeting cards to look at while waiting in line! Also, plenty of post office boxes, lockers to retrieve some of your packages & a station where you can weigh your own items and get postage to mail your package! They also have a variety of cool stamps to choose from, which I always enjoy! Outside: There are also gorgeous flowers & plants along the side of the post office gate & walkway! Fun Sightings: Often times, I've even seen cute dogs in line with their friendly owners! Once, someone started singing as we waited in a line! Overall: Over the years, I've "always" had a pleasant experience & leave with a smile! I'm always happy to see the smiling faces of the people who work here, they are amazing and quite genuine; love it!

Then there's the "lost in the mail"instance where a package that was sent back to USPS office never surfaced. No accountability, no concern, no friendly faces. Unless you're elderly and always there. I went all the way home, got a plain brown box (with no writing on it), and brought it back. Then they told me they wouldn't accept it just because it was a different kind than the boxes they sell. At that point, it felt like they were just trying to force me to buy one of their boxes instead of helping me. After I complained Then they said the box needed to be taped but refused to provide tape. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Another customer ended up helping me with tape, and only then did they accept my package. The whole experience was frustrating and unhelpful. For a few dollars on a box, they lost a customer- I won't bring any UPS deliveries to this location again. No wonder they have so many bad reviews. I wonder why the owner doesn't care about the bad reviews. He needs to train his employees and teach them good customer service.

The retailer also contacted this UPS store directly to authorize release of the package to me, yet staff still refused and would not even return the package to the sender. UPS would not even provide any confirmation that the package was still in their possession. The way I was spoken to throughout this interaction felt incredibly rude and belittling, and I have been left with no way to retrieve my package or have it returned.
