Place is a joke. Their machine prints a label with no postage and some how its my fault! ?!? Employees have no clue what so ever.

I give zero stars! They never deliver my packages on time, last time I fought for one the guy insisted that he left it on my door step (I was home all day with my kids playing in the yard) I was on the phone with them when he came up and handled it to me with attitude, I told him I didn't apriciate him lying he just gave me a smirk and walked away. Today my package said out for delevery and its already 5 once again im playing tag with my items and probibly won't see it untill monday. read more

I got off work early, raced to get there before they closed at 5:00. Arrived at 5:01, while a very uncaring employee named Yolanda Ochoa refused to just get me my package. They have no concern at all for human decency. Horrible customer service. I went to ask another employee for her name and she yelled from across the room "We're closed". Hi.,, I know. This place is pretty good. It's the best in Ventura but it does have lines, but it's got an automated system that let's you mail things 24/7, so that's good. I hardly stand in line because I used the ATM like automated robot. read more

USPS Carrier for the 93004 named Art. He's hostile and constantly harasses my wife and I. He misses scheduled pickups, complaining when you hand him a package, leaves unwarranted letters in our mailbox, constantly making personal phone calls on speaker phone, crams packages into the mailbox that can't be taken out the front & damages our packages, didn't deliver a time sensitive check to us because he said our cars weren't in the driveway so he didn't even bother coming to our door. We no we're not alone with this problem. Other carriers and a post masters have volunteered similar information about this carrier. Please speak out to improve you mail delivery! read more

I go to this post office weekly to pick up mail for the office I work in. I would like to say that overall, for 49 cents the USPS does a great job. This 5 star rating is for Mike. He is the most pleasant person I have ever encountered working at any post office. They should have him train all employees and retrain all the old one's. If I could I would give this post office not even a half of a star. But unfortunately in order to write a review, you have to give a star. This post office is the worst for having a PO Box. I continually, for 5 1/2 years have received other people's mail who used to have this PO Box. There is a 10 day wait to send back packages that have not been picked up, they send them back before 10 days. Recently, the icing on the cake was going to my PO Box and finding a note that said I had a bucket of mail to pick up on July 16, 2015. (Pay close attention to the date). I got the TUB of mail and the mail was from March, April, and May of 2014! There was no explanation and the manager proceeded to tell me they had put slips to pick it up in my box. That is a lie because I constantly get packages there with slips. Worst post office ever....snail mail takes the cake a year later! read more

I waited for a package all day and then it was not delivered. No notice was left anywhere on the property. I am very very upset. This place is an apartment complex and the office is the PROPER PLACE TO LEAVE A PACKAGE! It said on the online tracking that it was a "no secure location available" issue. Well Geee USPS? The office of my place would be a good place to leave it! Now I have to wait for tomorrow to pick up my package from their local office since they have no customer support anywhere else but there. read more

Attendand Jesus has processed premium shipping without asking three times. First time I paid because I assumed he must be right, but the next times I questioned it he instantly changes it to the cheaper regular shipping as if he knows exactly what he was doing. I assume he might get an incentive for "upselling" but he's just playing people! He also speaks very rudely, answering questions with "huh!". This place is a joke. I wrote FRAGILE on my package, and the teller held up a roll of "fragile" stickers and told me that I should put one on my box. I thought she was offering them to me, so I said that that was fine. She then said that one sticker was $10.00. I then told her no, and she replied, "Well, these ensure that the package is taken good care of." Are you kidding me? That's your job. And if I'm paying an arm and a leg for an extremely light package, that you already upcharged me $8.00 for, my package should be getting to its location safely. Also, there is a female teller that goes around in the line asking if you want to use their self-service station. DON'T DO IT. I've had packages go missing after using the machine, and have had clients call me and tell me that they have to go pay for extra shipping to pick up their package on their end. read more

You can decide if US Post Office should receive less than one star . . . A few weeks ago we were trying to mail a $45 package and asked for a piece of tape for a seam. A flat, cold and rude "no" was their response. The person offered to sell a roll of tape. In response I said, "I'll go to UPS and gladly give them my $45 and they will give a piece of tape for free in the name of "customer service." In fact, over the past two months US Post Office has systematically returned mail back that was addressed to perfectly good addresses less than 12 miles away. Then had to pay out of my own pocket their mistake to resend. Last week, one of those envelopes was remetered by a US Post Office machine but now Alexa the manager claims it was metered wrongly, returned it and refused to send until the new meter charge, additional $1.03 is paid. I said to the manager, "Do you realize we spend about $1,000 a month shipping our bookstore products? Now, here you are wrong on your postage, rude and have offered no customer service. Ironically, you sure are willing to push for $1.03 cents and blatantly risk loosing a client's monthly shipping budget. You'll win the battle but lose the war!" Alexa agreed that she would rather lose the $1,000 a month but really has to collect on their error $1.03. So now we are just one more of hundreds of thousands of businesses and people that have taken their business elsewhere to let the US Post Office, the old dinosaur that it is, to die in its own bureaucratic misery. Today, that flat was mailed at UPS and so will all future mail. read more

I had called this post office before to see if they had any PO boxes available and the rude man on the phone answered me like I was someone looking for a ransom. He told me "we haven't changed the locks so no" and then hung up. The USPS site said there were some available. So instead of dealing with an actual person I reserved one online and got the message that I would need two forms of ID showing that I lived at the address I resided. Isn't that the purpose of a PO box? To not have to give out a direct mailing address? So, I'm guessing it's safe to assume that a homeless person can't sign up for a PO Box? Anyway, I get to the Post office, waited about half an hour in the line and got up to some Eastern Indian lady whom was very nice, I told her I reserved the PO box online and paid, she looked it up but was unable to process it because I didn't have something verifying my home address, she asked me if I have a bill and I did not have one with me nor did my insurance state where I resided and my vehicle registration was linked to my mom as the major signer of the vehicle. When she asked one of the male employees, he talked to me very rude as if I somehow forced the lady into giving me my PO Box key. I went out to my car and looked for a bill and ended up finding my check stubs, when I went back in, I was accosted by one of the male employees with the long hair for coming back into the post office, he then seemed kinda understanding and tried to get me back to the Eastern Indian lady and she waved her hand telling him to have someone else deal with me. So I just said, "never mind, I'm going to cancel my online order and get one at the Montalvo post office. Never will I go to this place again and am glad I won't have to deal with these people, I have to wait two days for my money to be returned, but the Montalvo post offices staff are so much nicer and actually are there to greet you and talk to you with respect, not like someone that just dropped a house on their Sister. read more

Worst postman ever works out of this PO! My neighbor and I have both complained about mail not being delivered, or left on the lawn where parcels were stolen. His supervisor calls back threatening me with a "dog complaint" because he hears our dog in the back yard and so he is afraid to come into the front yard! We even moved the mailbox to the gate so he wouldn't have to come into the yard at all, so he left parcels on the front lawn where they were stolen. We moved the mailbox back to its original location and now they're telling us that it belongs in the front and that it's illegal to move it. LOSERS! read more

Typically, the employees are helpful and courteous, but over worked. Despite the long lines they NEVER use all the available stalls You have to time your visit to avoid peak rush hour time. Also note, that some of the courtesies of the past are not offered such as providing extra tape if you need it. read more

Stopped at this location to drop off some postcards and a package to send home. Got this guy with a long ponytail and glasses. He acted like he didn't know what to do and if he didn't have a postal shirt on I would have thought he was an imposter. Was extremely rude to me. I was so shocked at his behavior I told my husband who came in and asked him what the problem was and why the disreprect towards me. If the USPS wonders why people have such a negative attitude towards them, they need only look at this guy. Fire this guy and get someone who really wants to work. If it hadn't been a Saturday and I was leaving to go home, I would have reported him to his supervisor. read more
