They've lost already two of my orders. Not sure how DHL was able to deliver the package all the way from Europe to the local Watsonville post office. After that they always gets lost. I think some employees might be stealing them. The management is not much help. They never call you back or try to search for lost packages. read more

Watsonville USPS is pretty good. This location tends to have long lines, but they move pretty quickly. As one of the 2 major offices in SC County, it gets your mail on the move reasonably quickly, which is nice. I wish USPS in general carried more subtle stamps when you go in trying to buy just a few...I find it somewhat awkward to try to send potential employers thank you notes with Bugs Bunny on the stamp... read more

I've had so many issues with this post office! I've begged Amazon not to use the USPS because they screw up time after time. Their carriers routinely leave large packages sitting on the mailbox at the end of the long driveway; easy pickings! Then they claim they attempted to deliver a package but the "gate was locked" (we have no gate) or some other lame, untrue excuse. Now they expect me to go pick up the package in Watsonville. If only I could give negative stars...sigh. I had to head over here after an hour of abuse, er "customer service", at the freedom branch because I guess it's the customer's responsibility to track down packages that the USPS loses. I was greeted with a short series of grunts by what I can only assume to be Jabba The Hut's sassy sister (I normally would never insult someone based on physical appearance, but this woman was so disgusting on the inside that it made her horribly ugly on the outside as well). After politely explaining why I was there, the clerk snorted a condescending "that's not how this works", complete with eyeroll (because that's super cute coming from a middle aged woman). After showing paperwork and proving that this is, indeed, "how this works", the clerk gave me a smug look and told me someone would look for it and I could wait. *Narrator Voice: "And wait she did"... For the next longest 45 minutes of my life, I stood by and watched this flaming trash pile of humanity condescend, confuse, and just plain outrage other customers. She treated any Spanish speaking customers as though they were low IQ, and loudly yelled at them "SIGN HERE, IT'S NOT THAT HARD!!!". All the while, walking around lazily but with an air of superiority. I believe she fancies herself as some sort of all powerful ruler of packages and ruiner of days. I have a great carrier, but when he goes on vacation everything falls apart. I order a small package from Amazon once a month which the carrier will leave on the front or back porch. On the 10th my package was out for delivery and then returned to the post office for pick-up. I called the 800 # and rescheduled the delivery for the 12th. The carrier has come and gone and no package. Called the Watsonville office, but the phone just rings. Guess its back to the 800 # to reschedule. read more

It is now 7:50 PM and we still have not received our mail today. The mail rarely gets here before 6:00 or 6:30 and we've gotten mail as late as 8:00 PM. What's the problem??????? I've never lived in a place where the mail came hours after 5:00 PM which I understand is the time all mail trucks are supposed to be back at the Post Office. I've come to this post office more often than not because this post office is more reliable than the one on freedom. They may have long lines but the customer service has always been great. In fact.... Just this week I had gone into their offices after ending a day at work to drop off some mail for my work. I had such a stressful day that I didn't realize I had accidentally placed my paycheck along with the rest of the mail. Suffice to say that I was panicked looking for my check the next day . I thought of calling them but as I stopped by my house I opened my mailbox to realize the postal worker had sent my check via mail to be delivered to the direction on my check( my mailing address). I know they didn't have to do that for me considering I work at a small company and obiviously didn't include postage. But I still greatly appreciate their efforts, especially considering how oblivious I was to what I had done. read more

I'm sorry, I truly hate giving negative reviews but this is a constant battle with package delivery to my home and I've given them so many chances to get better, but the situation only keeps getting worse! It was never an issue before and recently I feel like no one cares! Tracking numbers are never updated and they display incorrect information saying my package has been delivered when it hasn't. When I call to check they tell me they have it? Or it's in the carrier? They never seem to give me a right answer. The manager is extremely rude, i think her name is Angela! I rather pay extra money for express delivery. Than ever useing usps postal service. They continueingly give bad customer services. The website does not give delivery type methods. I did not get a warning and they sent my mail back to the sender. Not only is that inconvenient but unecessary. read more

they left my package sitting out in the sun when today's temperature is in the 80's. the vitamins inside were warm to the touch which means they are ruined as they are heat sensitive. these were expensive vits and now the post office has destroyed them. it's easy to get to my porch. the garage door was also open, the package could have been left there in the shade. the pkg was literally a couple of feet from the front of the shady garage. i know i won't be able to get a hold of anyone at the facility so i won't put myself through the stress. i don't know what the answer is, the post office used to be so wonderful read more

I did not even want to give this post office 1 single star. It is by far the absolute worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are grossly incompetent. The mail carrier who has my route is so lazy she can not be bothered to drive down my driveway. It's not long, she's just ridiculous, her 1st excuse for not delivering my package was that she had never driven down my driveway before, her excuse now is that my house isn't visible. It's a house it doesn't move, it's always in the same place and perfectly visible. My husband and I have complained multiple times about her and nothing ever changes. Today I spoke with Lisa the supervisor and was promised my package would be delivered today. Well big surprise it wasn't. I will be filing yet another complaint with the corporate office and the one on Main St but I know this all falls on deaf ears. They are being paid to do a job that they are not doing and I am happy to sign my name to this review. They are absolutely ridiculous and incompetent. I went into the post office on Saturday morning to mail a package and when I tried to put it in the slot there was a bar accross the inside that didn't allow the door to open but a couple of inches, I knocked the door against the bar several times. I could see people walking back and forth in the mail room and they looked at the package slot but did nothing to help. There was no note on the slot explaining why it was barred shut. After waiting several minutes I decide to ring the bell at the door to the left of the mail slot and a woman came to the door, I asked why I could not mail my package and she told me they had to bar it shut so people could not reach in and take out packages, I feel there should have been a note on the door to inform the public instead of having to try to get help and being treated like I was bothering them.
