My experience with this storage had been great so far. The staff have been really helpful. When I signed up for the storage, for example, I realized that I requested a size that was too large. When I asked if they could switch me to a smaller unit that was cheaper, they switched me happily and immediately. They were very helpful and accommodating. I recommend this storage facility for sure. read more

Took away one star not because of the team at Aviation but because of the call center whom we notified right before getting there that we will be arriving in 15 minutes. Unfortunately the office was closed when we got there and we couldn't get in. We had to return later in the day to complete the deal. This is completely the call center's fault as they forgot to inform us that the local office will be closed for staff meeting. Definitely not happy about the mishandling of our case but the local team at Southbay, Benson and Jolene, restored our impression of the company by providing top-notch customer services. The place is super clean and in a safe neighborhood, we are more than happy to leave our RV there. We will definitely recommend this facility to our friends. read more

I have used several various storage facilities over the years. I felt like this was the first time where management actually went out of their way to accommodate my needs. From pricing, to how close the unit was to the elevator, they were on it. Benson and Ana were both really great on several occasions for customer service. It was very clean place to park my vihicle. It just 6 miles away from LAX. So I moved to find something closer. Though I regret of moving out. I should have kept it. I was only paying $90 for my parking space.I wish to get the same price back.Hopefully they will offer it again. read more

We'll figure out which unit is best for you and then we'll do the paperwork." Every other storage place would want a downpayment, or hold fee on the unit. Glenn had the elevator and dollys standing by and ready for when I showed up and helped me into the unit. You may pay a little more than the bigger name brand places but you will not find the same friendly service. The customer service is worth a few extra dollars per a month. It's also very convenient right on Ventura Blvd vs going into a secluded industrial park.

I recently purchased an oversized vehicle for my business. Unfortunately i had a theft occur and needed a safe place to park once I finished the repairs. I contacted the Inglewood, CA location and they didn't have any available. The representative looked into their system and found a location for me. She even went the extra mile and helped me complete the application and payment online. The representative at the Hawthorne/Torrance location followed up with me prior to me going to ensure that I had no unanswered questions. Benson, the manager, is excellent. I had called the main line and was told a price, and said I would keep looking. Benson called me back from the local branch within an hour and offered me a discount and to come view the space. He was incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. Had a last minute schedule change for the free truck rental and they were able to work with us to still get it secured (saved $100 instantly). Pros: Monthly rates were lower given similar amenities as the competition, especially when not having to rent a truck; storage space has more dimension options for a tailored fit. Cons: This location wasn't a 24/7 facility, gate's locked at 9pm. read more

This storage is a DUMP, no security, no properly ran. My storage was robbed and they were suppose to contact me immediately, they called me 2 days later. The guy working there Vincent fasure has something to do with it. Everything about this place is trash. I was robbed of over 18k worth of stuff and they only have me 2,500$. I haven't decided to use storage yet but if I ever do it will sure be this place. The grounds are nicely kept, the staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. The place looks pretty secure with the fancy locks they sell in the office for your space. The protection plan is a cool little perk they offer to.
