We were going to rent a storage in Santa Ana but decided to stop by this one due to longer access hours. Kevin was extremely helpful, we got moved in the same day, quick and easy! Could not suggest any better place! Prices are great as well, plus alarm in a unit and free advanced lock! Very happy!

This probably the most professional cleanest self storage I've come across. Not only was Melissa extremely helpful with signing up! She gave me a tour of the facility, she assured my unit would be safe secure and climate controlled. The facility is monitored. I feel confident that I can rely on them. Also had the Liberty of meeting the facility manager Kevin. Very helpful genuine attitude. Thank you guys. Come check em out.

I called many storage units in this area.. And US storage by far had the best pricing and staff in the area! I ended up being blessed and not needing the unit... But for sure without a doubt this location the manager Kevin and the rest of staff would have been the reason I would have chosen it. I have been long time renter of 2 units. I had a personal emergency in that my car was stolen with a key to one of my units (I'm not sure which one). Can ridiculous be positive word? First let me preface this off by saying that Melissa is great. Super awesome, kind, and helpful. However Kevin is absolutely terrible!! I spoke to Melissa over the phone, got all the pricing details and made an appointment to see the unit at 10 am. When I arrive at 10:10, Kevin acted super pissed off about showing the unit. He ended up yelling at me when I asked him why he was being so abrasive and angry towards me. His response was because "he had told me several times that his computer was getting started" Not good customer service!!! Will NEVER go back there. read more

I have been with US Storage Centers Westminster since 2012. I love this facility. The indoor units are climate-controlled; even in heat waves it's cool inside. It's very clean, the elevators always work, there are always carts available, and the staff, especially William, are professional and helpful! When my storage needs changed, the manager, Kevin, helped me come up with the perfect solution. Whenever I have needed anything, they are responsive and friendly. Access hours are great! It's conveniently located near the freeway. They even provide moving trucks. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Five does not seem like enough! read more

Corporate offices of Public Storage raised our rate 40% in 4 months and after asking around will raise it continuously thereafter every quarter! Nobody tells you when you sign up that they will raise your rate up 40% or more. So why would you think as much. They wait for you to move in get everything settled and Hit you with this increase expecting you to pay it! Here is the kicker! I went online and at the same facility for a bigger unit they offered it for less than what I was paying. This Shady practice shows you they are willing to let renters go just so they can get people to pay the increase. And if they don't and you move out they do it to the next person. I will be reporting to Better Business Bureau as well as telling everyone I know never to rent from this terrible company. I called corporate office and they basically said there is nothing they can do because it's based on demand. even though I told them I see open units at the facility. It took me 10 minutes to find a storage facility closer to my home with better access hours and 25% less than what I am paying. Already confirmed with new place that they only do rate adjustments every 9 months and the maximum they have done was 9% during a high time. This is acceptable. I made a mistake in signing up with PUBLIC STORAGE but I hope this review helps others in not making the same mistake. I truly hope that public storage corporate reads this and gets their act together. I guess for now I will use my only consumer power and move!! Anyone reading this do not get TRICKED like many of us on YELP. READ all the other negative reviews about shady rate hikes!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I would have given five stars if there weren't so many surprises: -1x setup fee, -external storage property insurance required, -and the card you pay with is saved for automatic, monthly debits. Make sure you have a card you don't mind autopays to come out of. My rate is promotional so I can expect a reminder e-mail regarding what the new rate will be. There's a minimum time frame to cancel lease and auto pay. Otherwise, once monthly payment is taken there are no refunds -- you have the space for another month. Thieves entered the property and made their way to the third floor, picked the lock on our door and stole thousands of dollars of guitars, amps, a priceless record collection and many personal items. They put the lock back on. The lock was not cut and no sign of forced entry. No telling what other spaces were violated. All the looks of an inside job! Go elsewhere! We are pissed!! The property only has cameras on the outside of the building and no cameras in the elevators or interior hallways. The company is denying any responsibility for the thefts and said they will only review or release security camera footage if the police request them to do so. We had the Westminster PD come over and we filed a report yesterday. Tell anyone that has a rented space to check that they have not been robbed too. The manager hung up on me when discussing their security issues and asking for corporate management inquiries. US Storage in Westminster is the BEST storage facility in Orange County! I have been a customer for just under 3 years and the customer service delivered by the centers manager, Kevin, has always been courteous and timely. I appreciate his presence onsite and his genuine concern about the security and cleanliness of the property. It is always well lit, spotlessly clean and he is always available if you have any questions regarding maintenance or billing. Besides being a professional and reliable manager he has always gone out of his way to have a quick chat and ask if I have any questions or need any help. Like another reviewer mentioned some storage units can be a bit shady, but Kevin makes it a point to run a tight ship and ensure that your valuable are safely stored and that you can easily access your property and feel safe . I am not exactly sure how I found this company because I thought I had contacted a different one, but the young man on the phone set me up with everything. I immediately received a follow up call from Kevin. When I attended the office to set up my account, a professional young lady in uniform no less, named, Angel completed my request. The building that houses the unit is clean, fresh, air conditioned, with easy elevator access and carts to assist loading our items on. We too were able to use, not rent, USE, the 17 ft box truck to move our items. How helpful is that? I am extremely happy with my choice. I actually called the other company I had originally intended to call. A very different experience, more expensive, and absolutely no truck to use. read more

This is the absolute most unprofessional Self Storage business I have ever had to deal with. I had a verbal contract with former management and thankfully I have a witness to it. I gave notice to U.S Storage. and since I have given notice they have repeatedly called me multiple times a day and sent me email messages harassing me about the timeframe of giving notice to vacate. I am filing a complaint with California consumer affairs and will be doing a complaint with Better Business Bureau. I have left 2 messages for the corporate office because you are unable to talk to a human - you can only leave a message and I have not received a call back. I will be talking to an attorney on Monday. read more

There are not enough positive words to describe the customer service Kevin Paul at US Storage gave us. Because of our pleasant experience we will be sure to refer any andall that we know or meet to US storage. We had a major, personal and sudden crisis and Kevin was the only one out of many other storage places that even attempted to accommodate our situation. He made a really really bad day good and for that we are grateful. He was extremely professional and maintained a well groomed, gorgeous ponytail. US Storage was convenient, clean and easy. Kevin Paul gave me a good deal on a 5x5 space, awesome man. Staff here are nice and friendly. They will show you how things work in their facility. You can even use their truck to haul your stuff, well that depends on the trucks availability. Nice, clean and secure place to store your stuff. Access hours are from 6am-8:55pm Monday through Sunday. You get your own access code to go in and out of the gate. Office hours are from 9am-6pm Monday through Saturday, 10am through 5pm on Sunday. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a secure storage space. read more

US Storage in Westminster is excellent. We have benefited from the convenience of this location near the freeway, the cleanliness of the grounds and our storage unit, and the courteous service from the staff. Kevin, Ana, and Elsa in the office are friendly and helpful. Our unit is spacious and tall, and we love that it is lighted inside! One great offer of US Storage is the use of their moving truck, which is kept on site. Very economic and convenient. I've been looking for a affordable, clean safe storage unit facility. I spoke with Kevin on the phone he was extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs. He recommended me coming in and looking at a few of the units. I was able to come in the same day and he had picked out a few units that he felt would be suitable to what I was needing. Kevin was a very nice, generous manager. He went over the details of the rental thoroughly and clearly when we were there yesterday. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a storage unit. The property is clean inside and outside and well lit. It is located in a safe area and thier security features have to rest beat without a doubt. And Kevin is the the best. He got me into a bigger unit and for alot less money.
