Came here for lunch on a Saturday! Was easily able to get a table inside as not many other people were there. Service was quick and efficient. A variety of noodle dishes and rice dishes available. I ordered the garlic delight with chicken and loved it. The flavors were great. I ordered a mild plus and it was much more spice than I thought it would. Hidden gem (I think, I'm a tourist LOL) First night in Denver and our Airbnb host recommended this place to us - forgot to take a pic of the veg egg rolls before eating them (comes with 2 rolls / 4 pieces) - very clearly homemade and soooo good Drunken noodles (mild - ask for the spice rack to do it yourself!!) are the best I've ever had NO DOUBT. Soo perfectly balanced with soft noodles, tender chicken, and the right amount of veggies and herbs. Basil fried rice was flavorful but light, fresh and came out so hot. Absolutely a winner!! This is solid thai food, maybe 4.5 stars but 5 here because there is no option for 4.5 stars. It's way better than other places like Aloy Thai, which don't even compare in terms of quality or taste but for some reason seem to do better in terms of ratings. The ambiance is modern and clean and their wait staff is friendly and helpful. They also make sticky rice like it should be made. The only drawback here is they can be a little stingy on the portions so it helps to tell them to make sure the portions are sized properly. read more

I have been wanting to try this Thai spot for a while but it turned out to be a disappointment - The restaurant has its own parking lot in the back - friendly service - has a drink menu with plenty of cocktails (which we didn't try so can't comment on them) - not busy at all during weekday nights We ordered two dishes and both were disappointing. The grilled beef salad was very small. Flavor was good - had rich spices. However, the beef were not tender. The second dish was the Spicy Seafood Stir-fry - one of their "signature dishes" from the menu, which turned out to be a major disappointment: tiny portion in a big plate (the whole plate had two shrimps, two two pieces of squid, two small pieces of tilapia, and two mussels). Came here for dinner and had a delightful meal! The menu had several great options but after talking with my server I decided to get the pumpkin curry since I was told it was their specialty. The pumpkin curry was AMAZING! Although I did ask for Thai spicy and my food was maybe level 3 hot, the pumpkin gave a great flavor and texture to the curry. We happened on this gem one day during a game delay. It was convenient and had ample parking. This cute restaurant is modern and had a new feeling to it. The mix of wood and metal decor was nice. My favorite spot for Pad woon sen, which is surprisingly hard to find at Denver Thai restaurants. I have tested easily 10 Thai spots in the northwestern area of Denver. This is easily top 2! They are the only ones to carry this dish, and be as yummy as it is! I order mild plus for noodle dishes here, but only medium for curry. Note this place is located in a not so nice area and their parking lot is in the back of the restaurant. The parking lot on the side is for Federal Restaurant and they apparently do try to tow if you're not a customer. The interior has an odd layout but is nicely decorated and clean. It is a family owned restaurant. The owners are very nice and their kids are cute. I got a medium spicy chicken pad thai. It had a really nice kick to it, I was sniffing a lot. But it was VERY flavorful. I loved it! Portion was just right. My friend got the drunken noodles and said it was super tasty but the portion was small for him. This is the first time we've been to the restaurant and we were super impressed! And kind of sad it's taken so long to find it lol The service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind at all as we had no time restraints. We will just keep that in mind for the future in case we need a quick meal, however will undoubtedly continue to support this amazing place! Our server was super sweet and had the whole dining room to herself, so we totally understood the longer wait times. The food was delicious! We had the crab wontons which were perfectly crispy and the sauce that comes with it is sweet and is perfect for us with just a dash of chili oil. The Thai tea was just what you expect when you order this staple at any Thai restaurant. The Pad See Ew (Drunken Noodles) was awesome- the amount of sauce was just right and the seasonings were spot on. We had it with beef, as usual. I also ordered the papaya salad with shrimp. They don't charge you for the shrimp, but it only comes with 2 pieces, so I think I'll order more for an extra barge next time. My Thai Cafe is a great surprise. There is a not-so-ready patio. They have a bar inside. The main dining room gets a flood of natural light from the outside. It's my favorite part! As per usual, don't get Thai hot because it will burn your face off, unless you're into that sort of thing. In that case, prepare with a blowtorch. Give the mango sticky rice a try... The place was half-empty, and I chose a spot away from anyone to avoid disturbing others. Yet, I was suddenly ambushed by the same rude woman who aggressively ordered me out of the restaurant without warning. No discussion. No respect. Just outright hostility and intimidation. Then, things took an even darker turn. This woman blocked the exit, threatened to call the police, and screamed at me as if I had done something wrong. All of this simply because I was taking a call quietly--a call that would have ended in minutes anyway. I did not receive a single warning before she went off the rails. Let's talk about their hypocrisy--they claim to not offer WiFi, yet there is a locked guest network available. When I simply asked for a fork after an actual staff member told me I could take one myself, she refused to let me do so. Meanwhile, there was chaotic screaming from the kitchen, children running in and out of the back area, and an overall unprofessional atmosphere--but apparently, I was the problem? To escalate things further, she brought out a man to intimidate me, as if that was necessary. As I left, she continued screaming at me, spewing insults, and demanding that I never return, all while following me out the door like some kind of unhinged security guard. I am a 27-year-old business student, and I have never been so aggressively mistreated in a public space. This was beyond unprofessional, beyond unacceptable, and frankly, disgusting. To any potential customers reading this--avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of amazing Thai restaurants in the city where they don't treat paying customers like garbage. Finally decided to branch off from our usual Thai spot and try another spot that's close by. My husband loves Khao Soi so he was thrilled that they had it on the menu since you can't find it just anywhere. He said it was different than what he was use to since they used more of a curry sauce but he still enjoyed it. Since we did just have Thai from our go to the weekend before I decided to skip my usuals and try their "must try" Crab Fried Rice and of course ordered some Crab Wontons. I REALLY enjoyed their fried rice, especially when they gave different spice level options. The wontons were fine, a bit small and kind of cold by the time I drove the 8ish minutes back home. My only real drawback was their didn't appear to be much crab (and definitely did not have 2 claws like the menu said it would come with). This is super close to where I live which is super nice, however down side is that they don't really have parking so for my friends who drive it is not that convenient. Came here on a Tuesday night not very busy but the service was slow since they only had one person. Wished that they would have left a water pitcher at least. The food was truly delicious especially the khao soy! But I wished that the portions were a little bigger especially for the price point. I personally think that you can find another authentic thai restaurant close but that has delicious food and a good portion size. The food, while smaller in portion than other Thai restaurants, had good flavor though. Plus, the Panang Curry with chicken contained ample protein. The cook also provided the same generous helping in the Pad See Ew. The same cannot be said about the Calamari appetizer which was mostly batter. Again, good flavor though. I love me some drunken noodles so we went with that; level medium as sadly due to the baby my spice intake must be limited (he spits up more when I eat spicer) which I thought still had a nice little kick, good flavor, overall very enjoyable. The spring rolls were interesting, definitely a different texture than I am used to but honestly I didn't hate them. They were a bit softer than to be expected which they may have just been pulled out of the fryer a bit too soon but honestly they tasted good so I wasn't terribly mad about it and I would totally still order again.
