This has been such a great experience! The family that runs USA & I are so amazing and friendly. I felt so warm and welcome every time I went there. They even helped me snap my favorite pic so far (I do pizza). So much GREAT food. And GIANT sized meals. Everything I ate was incredible. I mean it. Tried something new every day and was thoroughly impressed with each meal. I wish this restaurant was closer to me. I would continue to eat there every day. Came out here with my company and was able to eat here so far 4 out of the 5 days. Hoping to get it again tomorrow on my way out of town. (Edit: I came back for lunch o. Day 5! I'm so happy!) Thank you Vinny and family for such delicious food and good memories with my team. Until next time!

Cheesesteak Stromboli

My boyfriend and I walked in about 30 mins before closing feeling bad about ordering so close to closing but they were extremely welcoming and happy to take our order. The man at the front counter was so nice and kind. I would go back just for the service, but of course the food was delicious as well. Highly recommend the cheesesteak Stromboli, onion rings, and breaded cauliflower. Excited to try more of the menu!

Menu! Couldn't order ahead since I found no menu online

Stopped in, and from Yelp reviews ordered the grandma pizza and wings, hot. The wings were crispy, which I like, but were overdone, maybe cooked once and then fried again to reheat? Loved the way they were packaged to go, wrapped in foil to hold the sauce. Grandma pizza reviews mention lots of garlic. Wow, lots is an understatement and I love garlic! Too garlicky to eat more than a couple slices, and I can eat more pizza than that in a sitting. Happily, when I reheated a slice the next night on my pizza stone in the oven, it was really great along with a big salad. Crust was delish, still chewy. Though my review doesn't sound great, I would absolutely get another pizza there, just not the grandma for me. It wasn't too busy when I stopped in on a Friday evening, but while waiting for my food, the line was backing up. The servers were all super friendly to the patrons - so nice! I'll be back.

Nestled in the Newberry Commons shopping center. Friendly family staff. Greeted promptly. Order was ready to be taken. So much going with the menu. Lots of choices all reasonable priced. After a few moments I elected for a special made with oil, pepper, onion, ham, salami or pepperoni on a fresh flatbread. The crispness of produce matched with fresh flatbread. Sweet onions. Not overly greasy with the oil and pepper. Good: fast, friendly, affordable, and delicious. Bad: wish I could eat more. I would make additional visits if this was my local sandwich pizza spot.

Holy crap. I had not been in this location since it was the Alpine Inn and wow...times have changed…read morefor the better. Horn Pub features a big bar and equally large dining areas. My companion and I didn't sample the menu, but everyone around us was eating and clearly enjoying their meals and the dining spaces were FULL on an early Friday evening. To ne, that speaks volumes. For what appears to be a "divey" bar from the outside, Horn has a pretty solid list of drafts, cans, and bottles. My companion is a wine drinker but found a pinot grigio that suited her. Service was fast and friendly at the bar, and tge crowd (definitely local and regular) was also super friendly. Give Horn Pub a try! It's a.great reminder of what a good local spot can be.

However, after she brought our drinks she didn't come to check on us for over 30 minutes. She took another food table order, 10 feet from us that arrived after us. Another table that had only ordered food after we sat down received their food before we could order food. This waitress said "I have help now. She'll be right here". Our new waitress was super nice. So we ordered our wings and appetizers. By 1300, we still did not have our appetizers of pickle chips or any of our food. When we received our food, it was pretty decent, and our second waitress made our visit more pleasant but will most likely not come back.

Fratelli's proudly claims to be the "Home of the Bar Pie," and after one bite of their 14" NY-style…read morewith mushrooms and pepperoni, I believe them. This little hole-in-the-wall sits on the backside of a rivertown, serving up old-school vibes and seriously good pizza. The dough and sauce are made in-house, and you can taste it -- crust was crisp yet airy, with a buttery richness and just enough chew to make each bite satisfying. Sauce had a bit of spice, cheese was bubbly, browned, and full of real-deal flavor (no sad, fake cheese here). Toppings? Plentiful and delicious. We came dangerously close to finishing the whole pie, stopping only two slices short. For drinks, my adventure buddy went classy with an Old Fashioned (good, but nothing to write home about -- and the bar's lack of Luxardo cherries made him sad), while I kept it real with a draft Miller Lite. The beer was cold and clean -- and honestly, from a hole-in-the-wall bar, that's something I appreciate. Bartender doubled as our waitress and handled it like a pro, even on a slow Monday night. The place is dark and cozy, decorated with lots of '50s-inspired artwork, and apparently has a rooftop bar -- sadly closed during our summer date night. The bill came to $42 for the pizza, two drinks, and a tip -- budget-friendly date night win. No on-site parking, but plenty of free curb spots out front or municipal lots a block away. Safe area for an after-dark stroll. If you're into unpretentious spots serving pizza that punches above its weight, Fratelli's is your jam.
