I always get headaches at restaurants because of the awful ambiance but this night at Feniccis's I didn't have any symptoms. Plus, we had a BEAUTY serving us. Ava was incredible and so funny. One of the most personable people I've ever met. Fenicci's you've outdone yourself.

Started with some drinks while we waited for others to arrive. Solid selection of fine wines and cocktails to choose from. Picked an old fashioned with redbreast - very good. Small hiccup with a missed drink order but that was quickly handled. Very friendly and polite waitress that evening, missed her name but would recommend her again. She had noticed a few of my family members including my wife were expecting babies so she brought out a few shirts as presents for them. Appetizers were tasty , along with the salad with the house dressing already on the table. Very fresh. I chose the "homemade lasagna challenge" if finished you earn a certificate! Which I did in fact finish. It's not a giant piece , it was good , maybe make it a bit bigger/ harder ? There was a little trouble with an entree being dumped but that was quickly re-fired in the kitchen and out very fast , no trouble at all, simply an accident. Dessert was the deconstructed version of a cannoli. Lots of cannoli pieces and dip. All in all it was a great night enjoyed, solid service , we will be back again soon.

A lovely tea experience. I joined them for a Saturday afternoon tea with a friend. Everything we…read morewere served was tasty. I could tell everything was homemade. They offered two teas throughout the experience and offered to make another pot of either one once we were done eating to drink as we sat and chat. The tea included a nice salad, two scones (a savory and a sweet), finger sandwiches, and desserts. A good amount of food. The teapot got about 4.5 cups of tea to share with the table. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays. A really cute restaurant. I'll definitely return for afternoon tea and would also go for dinner.

When we arrived, we were told where our table was...no staff escorted us to the table. After several minutes our drink orders were taken. They had no diet soda option. The sodas that were ordered were served in the can. Mixed drinks were ok(ish). Small wine selection. Meal ordered was placed and we told them we had ordered the Beef Wellington. The wait staff returned and informed us that another party canceled their Beef Wellington order but unfortunately our order had been the one that been canceled. They had no other beef option on the menu as they were out of the petite Beef Wellington that was on the menu. (and we were an early reservation) This should've been the cue to leave but we stuck it out. Caesar salad was lettuce, a few croutons and dressing. No grated Parmesan Cheese offered. Soups were luke warm at best. Entrees were not on par for a fine dining restaurant and again, luke warm at best. Olive Garden has better pasta dishes. Sides were cold green beans (manager said this was intentional as it's some sort of cooking style) and 2 very small red potatoes. We didn't bother with dessert. Service was subpar. Staff didn't realize our water carafes were empty after we filled our glasses at the beginning of the meal. Entrees were served at different times. Staff did not check on the table until we were all but finished with the meal. Sadly the restaurant needs a good deep clean. They tried with the decorations. It's not the same from years past. Definitely not worth the amount of money we paid. And that's sad knowing what Alfred's once was.

Caprese 10/10 I got the side portion, which was three huge slices of tomato and mozzarella. The tomato was super fresh and perfectly ripe- not too hard and not too soft. The mozzarella was fresh and delicious. The amount of oil and balsamic was perfect. Even though it was a side portion, it was definitely something that could be shared between two people, if you're trying to save room for your meal! Chicken parm 8/10 Chicken was tender and juicy. The breading had a good flavor and was fried super crunchy. Pasta was cooked perfectly, my coworker just wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of the red sauce, and how overly crunch the breading was, which is why he gave it an 8. Chicken piccata 9/10 Sauce was yummy. Risotto was delicious! Stuffed shells (Tuesday special) 9/10 Shells were cooked great. The sauce had a good flavor. The cheese was also a good flavored blend and kept its shape even when you cut the shell, I just personally would have liked it to be a touch more melty and gooey. I loved all the cheese on top too! Absolutely love that the entrees come with a glass of wine and a side salad.

Also I ordered the special and it was good not great and it 48 dollars for the swordfish special, which is pricey and it didn't come with what it was supposed to, orzo. It came with quinoa instead. And they didn't tell us the price of the special before and I should have asked. But I've never had a 50 dollar swordfish that's why I didn't ask. It's always busy there and it's good now, not great. The sauce changed since I last went. I would give it one more chance.

It was very busy and we didn't have a reservation. They made adjustments to the seating chart and had us seated in 10 minutes. As someone who is dairy free, I asked if they would be able to make accommodations and they were happy to. We started with a bread basket. The bread came out warm which was perfect on a cold evening. Not to mention the oil was fantastic. Then, I ordered a chicken Marsala which the chef made dairy free for me. It came with a soup that was to die for (can't remember which kind). The portion size of the Marsala over linguini was huge and I was able to have leftovers for the next day. The wait staff were so kind and made you feel like family. Would definitely recommend Lazzaro's.
