While these movers out of the Chicago area were fast there were a few problems. First, they didn't use a dolly even when we offered our own. Second, They picked stuff up without hearing us not to tip it too much. Thirdly, they didn't use the ramp provided and hoisted our belonging onto the truck. Three men showed up, one was yelling at me to sign the paperwork and wouldn't give me time to read it while the other two moved my stuff into the truck. Quoted me a price and then tripled it. Took forever to deliver and a box was missing. They gave me $200 for the extremely late delivery and refused to the claim for the missing box saying that I signed everything. I will never use a moving company again. It was supposed to more convenient, instead I got my months later minus a stolen box (which was all power tools). read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They promised lower rates because of a "tariff" discount, but then increase the charges AFTER your things are loaded on the truck. Mine increased by almost $1000, which I had to pay. They never answer phone calls or emails, and it's impossible to get any information about your delivery time. My contract states 7-21 day delivery window and I'm still waiting for my stuff to be delivered 26 days later. It's been almost 2 months without my stuff and I have no idea when I'm getting it. My items were final delivered just over a week ago. The driver is actually from a separate company brokered by USA MOVERS to do long hauls and when all is said and done, he was a good guy. So far, no breakage, but I had to throw some smaller items out because a few boxes were infiltrated by-wait for it, RODENTS. That your company is bound by contract. The facts: Booked with Nathan on 3/17/2021 advised a 3-7 business day delivery.  Total $1738. My items were picked up on 3/20/2021 and total rose to $2546. I gave a $2,000 deposit via Zelle. Lied to me Every Day stating that my items were coming. Was given every excuse in the world unable to contact Josh (Dispatch Manager) manager was out to lunch or unavailable manager will definitely give me a call back to address my issues the truck is making several pick ups & drop offs on the way to Chicago so I couldn't get a definitive answer Nathan provided misinformation as "they" have 21 day to deliver my items one of our trucks broke down and was out for repair one of our drivers was let go we are a small company and you keep calling here is not going to make the manager come back early for lunch call back after 4pm (then phones are unable to accept calls or goes directly to voicemail answers call but immediately hung up on answers call and put on hold and no one ever returned to the line. On 4/8/2021 advised by Vivian that a truck was coming from Texas and that my items should be loaded and delivered as soon as it arrives. Continued to call almost daily to obtain  status and was continually told the same lies. On 4/16/2021 spoke with Danielle (GM) who also advised that a truck was coming from Texas and that by Monday or Tuesday she will contact me with a move definitive date of delivery. She never called or emailed anything other than the claim form. I asked (SEVERAL TIMES) for a copy of my original contract but everyone has failed to send it to me. On 4/27/2021 I ask Danielle politely to refund me my deposit and I will have another company to pick up my items. Was told she would have to check with Josh to see how they have to do it. DID NOT SAY IT COULD NOT BE DONE!!! And to call back after 4pm but again phones were unable to accept calls and went directly to voicemail.. On 4/28/2021 Danielle advised me that I could NOT get a refund and that I could NOT get my items. She us FULLY AWARE OF THE CONSISTENT LIES THAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD and is very apologetic. HOWEVER, telling she cannot give me a DATE or ANYTHING regarding when I will receive my items is UNACCEPTABLE. Advising me that a truck went to the East Coast but is unsure why my stuff wasn't on there but saying they may have run out of room is UNACCEPTABLE. TELLING YOU DON'T KNOW WHICH HUB MY STUFF IS AT EITHER AT PUBLIC STORAGE IN CHICAGO OR IN INDIANA IS UNACCEPTABLE You all have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. YOU ALL PICKED UP MY ITEMS FROM MY STORAGE AND TOOK THE TO YOUR STORAGE...UNACCEPTABLE. This company is a scam. I had to fly back to Chicago to pickup my things as they would not deliver them. They made me pay $1,865 just for them to get my things out of a storage unit in Hoffman Estates, IL and they would not deliver my things to me here in Dallas. The loading date in Illinois was 1-18-2021 between 2pm-4pm. They didn't show up until after 8pm. I didn't get my things until March after they force me to pay the full amount to release my things to me. Plus, I had to fly to Chicago to get my things because they wouldn't deliver them to me here in Dallas. I'm in the process of filing a small claims lawsuit against them and I encourage everyone else who was scammed by this horrible company to file as well. read more

I used USA Movers for a local move and they were great! James and David were very organized and moved all of my boxes/furniture with ease for a very affordable rate. I see some less than spectacular out-of-state moves so I cannot attest to that experience, but mine with James's crew was excellent. read more

This is a nightmare of a business to deal with!!! They held onto my stuff for almost 4 months in a warehouse in Chicago and they finally got delivered. They pick up your stuff and disappear with no calls, emails, no updates - nothing. You call them, they tell you a bunch of lies if they do pick up the phone but most of the time it goes into voicemail or their voicemail is full and you can't leave a message. I had to file a complaint with the FMCSA -https://nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov/NCCDB/ComplaintEntry.aspx?choice=CONSUMER and the Illinois Attorney General's office. Please file a complaint about this company with the FMCSA and the Illinois Attorney General's office or they will continue doing this sort of thing to people. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! BUYER BEWARE!!! USA Movers picked up our items on 7/30/2020 and did not deliver them until 10/28/2020!!! The reason I am writing this review now is that I was giving them an opportunity to make it right. Unfortunately that has not happened. They have been unresponsive and unwilling to work toward resolving this matter. My initial conversations were great. They worked with me on the process and I thought the experience was going to be fantastic. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM PICK-UP TO DELIVERY AND BEYOND!! On moving day they showed up 9 hours late, with an unmarked truck and not enough help. They started at 6:00pm and finished at 11:30pm. I received numerous complaints from neighbors that day). One of their helpers actually went home leaving 1 person to pack items (the Driver was supervising). It wasn't until 10:30 pm that someone else showed up to help. I gave notice to the Driver that night I wanted delivery to occur on 8/21/2020 or 8/22/2020. Needless to say that did not happen. I left numerous unanswered voicemail messages. The only time I could get an update was when I finally reached someone live (which was rare). They made many false delivery date promises. My items finally showed up on 10/28/2020 (OVER 2 MONTHS LATE). Reasons for delay were many: truck broke down, driver sick, its on its way but there are 13 stops before you, etc. When they finally arrived, the items were jammed into the moving truck, and in some instances mixed up with another delivery; boxes were collapsed/squashed and some items damaged. They did not assemble the bed appropriately and it still is not right even to this day. A claim was filed with their Claims Management company as directed but that is still outstanding as well. If I could give them a MINUS RATING I would. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone! I am wondering why they are even allowed to continue to operate in the State of Illinois, or the US for that matter, and why are they still in business??!! Pick up of my daughter's things was Sept. 28, 2020, in Chicago. Verbal guidance by sales rep Nathan O. was that delivery would be approx. 1 week later in Mass. Contract says delivery in 7-21 business days. It's now been 42 business days without delivery of essentials including her bed, winter coat, and other clothing. We have been calling for over a month for a delivery date, but staff, including Nathan, have been unresponsive, alternating between stating dispatch person was unavailable then, putting us on hold for "management" who never came to the phone, or saying we would get a call back with an update that never came. A final written email request went un-responded to as well. No one has ever responded and we still don't have our stuff. How is this legal? read more

Save yourself the nightmare of a headache and STAY AWAY from these movers!!!! I made the mistake of not seeing these reviews and ended up with my items almost 60 days later. They advertise the service as 3-5 days and when you try to call back for an update you'll find yourself in a maze of rude people answering the line. At some point I called them everyday to receive an update and would be hung up on and have my calls screened. You'll end up feeling completely helpless after being scammed into paying DOUBLE what you originally were quoted for and find your items held hostage. If you are like me you'll find yourself feeling like you're on a episode of catfish, googling to see if they're a legit business. Please look up the address they provide on your quote. The address on my quote happened to be different from the address shown in the other Yelp reviewers quote that was posted. When I googled the address, It happened to be a UPS store while the other listed address was a car dealership. If you do get caught up with this BS company, know that you will end up getting your stuff. There is hope. Some people who I asked while doing my research got their items 90 days later.
