Or you can go inside and one of the two employees can assist you with your basic postal needs. Either way, there's no wait or line of any sort, so you'll be in and out quick. I live a half mile around the corner from this location, so it's very convenient for me! They don't have everything (I didn't see any packaging materials or extra services -- but maybe I just didn't notice them), but it's nice when you're in a hurry and want to avoid the larger post offices, especially around the holidays.

The pros: 1) They open a full hour earlier than the other (east side) Schaumburg post office. 2) Plenty of parking 3) Large lobby space where you can drop larger packages, buy stamps, access a PO box, etc. The cons: 1) Service is all over the place - I've had the friendliest experiences and "I don't give a sh*t" interactions. 2) The actual customer service area is small and narrow and there's often a line. I appreciate that USPS is trying to keep with the times - easier click to ship, convenient pick up, etc but there are still times that you have to pop over to the PO, and this one is fine.
