This post office is conveniently located near my workplace in La Verne so I have at times dropped off letters in the drive through mailboxes, or stopped quickly inside to use the self checkout machine to weigh a package or envelope, pay for postage and send it through the drop slot. Today I needed to pay for a medium sized priority mail box to send clothes to the east coast that my daughter forgot at home when she came to visit for spring break. I figured $22.95 was worth it when it was heavy items like jeans, shorts, skirt, etc; plus it comes with a tracking number; plus it'll get there by this Thursday. In any case, while I was prepping the box and labeling it, I observed Xuan and the male staff working beside her patiently answer questions for several customers ahead of me in line. I would like to thank them both for being kind to the people, and to thank Xuan for helping me so efficiently. I have always had terrible experiences here but this last visit was my last straw. They are just SO rude to you here it's ridiculous it's like every single worker just hates their life and their job !! Just drive to the San Dimas one they're so sweet and will actually help you ! Idk how Frank is still employed after so many reviews about him so that just goes to show what kind of business this is. They don't care about trying to help you and they won't do any extra steps for you. Front line staff are always very kind and helpful. Today I was assisted by Tyler and I would give him a 5! Very professional and helpful with everyone. I was in line for a long time and every employee was helpful. It was when I needed a supervisor for help with a second TRACKED package that was not delivered to my address. Ronnie R confirmed it was delivered to the wrong address and the could not retrieve it back! This is crazy! I paid nearly $100 for this item and he gives me a very generic letter- no name or address that basically says oops, sorry. He seemed very uninterested in helping me or the customers in the "supervisor" line. read more

I love this Post Office! Aside from it being convenient as my local post office I also love the energy I get when I walk in. Frank is the best!!! There is another male employee and a woman I really like working with as well but I forgot their names. Frank always helps me save a dollar when I send out packages. When he notices an opportunity that helps my shipping needs and costs Frank never hesitates to let me know. Just now I had a really gross experience with the employee named FRANK at around 4:15pm on 2/11/2025. I was shipping a top in a small bubble wrap envelope. He says in a perverted tone, "Is there anything dangerous in here?" I said no. He then goes "are you sureeee there isn't anything dangerous?" I quickly told him not to flirt with me and to watch his tone and that I will call him out. As a federal employee or any type of employee this type of sexual harassment is unacceptable. If he feels comfortable doing this in public imagine how he conducts himself in private. I quickly left and called asking to speak to the manager whose name was Rob or Rodney or something like that. He said there was no way to get evidence of the incident but that he would talk to him. He sounded like he didn't care so I want to post it publicly so that his family knows he's being a pervert at work. If he has a wife or children HOW SAD. He should not be around people's personal address or personal info, it's very disturbing for him to have access to that. I wish I read the reviews before I went here because they are spot on. The guy who was working today before noon was very unfriendly, unhelpful and outright rude. I waited in line like everyone else once I got to the counter I asked about a passport photo, he said he couldn't help me but it's not that he couldn't it's that he didn't want to. He also didn't offer any solutions or apologize. He only said we are busy and I can't help you today. There's a sign behind him that says they have passport services from 10-3 daily. I was served by Anthony today at the Laverne location. He was very helpful, courteous and kind.

I just can't go here anymore. There are 2 men that work the front that are absolutely rude. I understand 1 time maybe an off day, but absolutely ridiculous on their sass, unprofessional jokes to customers and to themselves about the customers IN FRONT of the customer (yeah me) I reported it. Even another worker rolled her eyes to it. Not sure what came from it. Then, love how I dont have a consistent mail person, subs. Which I really should be thankful for as my last lady on her phone whole time, sitting in front of my house in car, delivers mail as late as possible oh and not even MY mail then doesn't deliver packages she marked delivered in system then lies to my face about it. I walked up to someone with no name tag 9:42 am with perhaps a Hispanic accent and I asked from assistance. She told me I have to do it myself and not at her window. I went to the self service and figured it out. I went to xuan's window and she was excellent answering my questions and double checking my work and was respectful and polite. I just moved to Pomona and decided to get my new PO box here at the La Verne post office. So far, my experience has been pretty good. Employees seem friendly, service is quick. Plenty of parking outside. The lobby is very clean and organized. At my old post office, I was always getting other people's mail in my PO box because my number was "664". They would always give me "646" or "644"'s mail. And I've had instances where my mail was put in the wrong PO box too. Nothing like this has happened here so I'm already pleased with the fact that I get all the packages that I'm expecting. The employees there were also a horror. Very rude people, who were visibly annoyed all the time, that handed customers off to other workers. Here, they always greet me and are ready to help. Okay, I have to update this review. I've had a year of dealing with this post office on a fairly regular basis now. It's not this post office that is the problem, it's these people who posted negative reviews that are the problem. The people at this post office are kind and very helpful. Anyone having issues must be treating the postal folks very poorly. It doesn't matter if it's in person or on the phone I am treated very very well. I have had experience with several folks there now and they are far and away the best I have dealt with and I loved the post office in Duarte when I lived there. Try treating these folks with some kindness and respect, then maybe you will see something different. read more

I'm genuinely surprised that this post office is getting this many bad reviews. I seldom write good or bad reviews but thought it would be fair to say something. I go to this post office weekly and have been for over 6 years. Whether its Frank or Helen or anyone else, I've received nothing but really good, even great customer service. Whether it's a busy time or not. Whether I'm just doing a quick drop off or picking up my mail. I have never once, seen any employee being rude to any customer and I've seen the line out the door some times. I still don't understand how Frank continues to be allowed to work the front desk. Since he's always sitting , I'm assuming it's because he's on a work accommodation. The staff were lovely, patient, and trusting, considering that the clientele that patronize this establishment are THE WORST. To the staff, I am sorry. Another wonder trip to my local USPS in La Verne, CA. I have been coming to this location for the last 15 years, ever since we moved here to La Verne. They always go beyond and even if it's a busy day the line goes very, very quickly. This is the best US Post Office location I have ever used. I dropped off a package one week ago and it was never scanned. They have no record of it being shipped. I walk in today to see if they could figure out what's going on. Who do I get? Frank. The same guy everyone is complaining about in the below reviews. Sure enough. He is rude, condescending, and accusatory. Came to this location because I was in a pinch and this one was the only one open. I came hours before they closed to drop off my prepaid packages and they failed to scan them in. This is a regular occurrence with this location and packages often go unscanned at all. I'm a small business so when this happens it affects me and takes money out of my pockets for the refunds. June 3, 2020 I can't tell you how many times this La Verne US Post Office has LOST the mail that I have brought into them (at the counter) to be mailed. Here is the problem. The clerks at the counter are LAZY. When they stick the postage label on the package they don't take the time to push the label down hard enough so that the label actually sticks to the package. The postage label gets easily removed somewhere in the mailing/distribution process. Sometimes my package gets mailed back to me (with my return address) because it doesn't have the postage on it anymore and sometimes the recipient never receives the package at all. This could be avoided if the counter staff weren't so damn LAZY and took an extra two or three seconds to firmly push the label down on the package so that it strongly sticks to the package. Avoid this post office! It's awful. Hopefully they eventually will get some better quality employees. Employees that actually care. Not sure what good it will do, but I'm going to contact the US post master and complain. I've had too many packages get returned to me or get lost. I blame this 100% on this particular post office in La Verne. read more

Employees were knowledgeable and helpful with our passports renewal. We didn't have an appointment but they didn't send us home like other post offices nearby. We waited for them to help the ones with appointments then after they finished, they attended us. During the wait time, they helped in between to make sure we had all the paperwork filled out to speed up the process before their next appointment arrived. Today is hard to get good services. Service is so unbelievably slow do not waste your time here. Employees willingly hold up the line by confusing already lost customers that don't know what they're doing. I went in on a Saturday at 10am to mail a package, there was a small line. I was served within 5 mins, I needed to ship a package out to FL. I packaged it in a flat rate box and the employee was very helpful. She also helped me add another $500 insurance. Fun fact, anything with $501+ value for insurance has an automatic signature require upon delivery. Additional insurance cost about another $18, I purchased $1000 for insurance which wasn't bad. I came to mail a package for the first time in over a year on eBay (I'm an user afdisneyfreak). The clerk was grumpiest and impatient as far I forgot the difference between regular and flat rate priority mail so was very rude. Also he didn't had any change so his customers had to pay with card or exact change. He treated the half customers better than me by greeting them and wish a nice day and didn't with me. His name is Francisco A lady named Judy helped me with using the machine to weigh and calculated the cost. But didn't get me an itemized receipt instead tracking so hopefully it'll be at my buyers destination safely.
