The amount of times I've had to call up this office for an issue related to damaging my mailbox,…read moremisplacing my mail, or forgetting to provide our key is genuinely stupid. EVERY TIME I call for assistance, nobody is available. I have to work my way through their incompetent AI call center every other month regarding a new issue. Going in person isn't much better due to racist staff as others have already mentioned... My latest issue that's finally driven me to write out a review? Whoever delivered my mail broke our key and instead of reporting it, having my mail delivered directly, or literally any of the other smart options at their disposal, they just left the broken key in our mailbox. I can't access my mail and I'm driving myself ragged trying to get an agent (not the useless AI bot!) on the phone. I've called about 6-8 times by now with no luck. I've submitted a support request, scheduled callbacks, but haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. This is the worst service I've ever received from a post office.

Lately our packages are getting picked up but we are not receiving our email confirmation when usps picks up the package & then neither you or your customer can track the package while the status stays "awaiting collection" which is completely ridiculous & absolutely unacceptable. This affects our store in more than one way negatively costing now & later. I'd appreciate if you guys can speak to your male scheduled Pickup carriers to actually do their job and scan the package when picking it up otherwise don't work at USPS!!!! you should not be picking up packages and not scanning so the customer can track it. That's part of what they paid you guys for. Top it off when you call the phone number here they won't speak to you unless they have a tracking number which you paid them for only to give you an invalid one making it impossible to speak to anyone about how to fix issues they create for you!!!

I went to mail coupons to a military base in Germany that my church collected, cut out and sorted for them to use. I've only mailed them once and forgot which mailing pouch or box that I sent the first batch in. I mentioned to the clerk all this information. She asked for the zip code and I showed her the Customs Declaration form with the information. I said that I have 2 Ziploc bags that I'd like to send together. She then pushed all my things over to the side and proceeded to help the next customer. I asked her if someone was going to help me, and she replied,"You're not ready." I only asked one more question about what to use to send the coupons and she pointed across the room and said, "Get a box from there." and that was it! I was so stunned that I just collected my things and said I'd go to another post office. She just said, "Yes, you do that." I tried calling the office from my car in the parking lot but no one ever answered, nor was there a way to leave a message. I'm sorry that I didn't stay put and demand to see a supervisor right then on the spot to take care of this because I doubt anything will be done to fix this problem. I am now home - with all my coupons for the military servicemen and women in Ansbach, Germany - fuming that I didn't accomplish getting this package out today! I've checked in 45 times according to Yelp when I need to mail cards, or packages to relatives and friends in other cities or states. I usually stop on my way to the cemetery when in route to Rochester Hills so it is very convenient for Me. My many photos attached show the reason still to rate 5 stars as in 2017. There are rotating employees working at the 3 counters every time I visit for stamps or mailing packages or envelopes. They are efficient and polite and take their time to service my needs. The counters, floors, self serve mailing areas are always clean and clutter free along with stocked mailing supplies! There are handicap access parking spots and a push button to enter the Post Office if you are disabled or if you are carrying packages to mail. In the lobby are post office boxes to rent for a fee and with key accessible. This location assists for passports and pick up of your held mail ftom vacation and large packages too. It's a subcontracted joint that's inside a gas station so the guy behind the desk is the same guy who works the gas station register and the same guy who takes inventory. Go somewhere else if you're short on time. We were there for 20 minutes with no line but with anyone trailing in the gas station to buy a coke or pack of cigarettes, he'd need to go and work that register...which makes sense I guess since the usps is only their side business but by the end of the wait the clerk said that the scale wasn't working and so we'd have to take our boxes to another location. What a waste of time.
