Utah had very different liquor laws (re: stricter) than anywhere else so this place is all ya got. I don't buy a lot of alcohol from liquor stores (I buy in Supermarkets which is basically nonexistent for alcohol in Utah), but from what I can tell where this place is a LOT different when it comes to beer. From what I could tell hard alcohol & wine isn't that much more expensive than normal...beer is where there's a big difference. 1) bottles (and I think cans?) are sold individually. When you go over to the beer section all the cases are picked through because people are mixing and matching because they're all charged individually. Sure, if a six pack is available you can grab the whole thing but it's charged as six individual beers. 2) There's a noticeable difference in price (re: higher) than most places. 3) Nothing is refrigerated. There's two cashiers at this location. We came on a Friday night and it was crowded, but we expected that. Look, if you want alcohol in Utah you don't have many options...

Plenty of metered parking in front on 300 south. Another thing I dont like is all the wine is upstairs so I immediately grab a cart and head to the elevator which is slow. Good selections. Pricing varies. Downstairs is all the hard stuff like vodka and tequila. You get it. Line to check out always seems slow. I appreciate that they are all friendly and welcoming to my dog and help me get my boxes in the cart. Its a pain in the ass to get carts to the parking lot because its a couple of ramps up. Also no place to leave carts outside. Who's going to take them all the way down the ramps and back into the liquor store again? Im pooped afterwards haha. Place is always clean but I tend to go early when they first open so dont know what happens throughout the day. Its fairly new store so its clean.

My fiancé told him he was looking for a specific brandy, so Bill walked us over to the brandy. We didn't find the exact one we were looking for, but he had some other suggestions for us. I haven't tried it yet, but one of his suggestions was a mixture of a peanut butter and a chocolate liquor. I can't wait to give it a try! Bill is 100% the reason we will come back to this liquor store. He's such a nice guy and extremely helpful! It just seems like he really cares, and that's rare nowadays.

We've worked in park city for 30 years. Our great grandmother is a major person in the park city…read moremuseum and the city cemetery is dedicated to her. My son gets coffee here almost everyday. One day while he was waiting for their slow coffee to fill his cup, he walked over and got some snacks. He then forgot to go back and grab his coffee, paid for his snacks and we all left. We remember it because he expressed frustration at forgetting his coffee, all the way to the job. A week or so later our foreman was in this top stop. A female employee showed him a video of my son getting coffee that day, asked if he knew him and told him my son didn't pay for his coffee, the coffee he forgot and left sitting there. This female was hostile, condescending and accused my son of stealing a $2 cup of crappy coffee. (The foreman said he must have just forgot, because he's a very honest person, then the foreman paid for the coffee my son didn't take). I can't even comprehend the level of incompetence and disrespect she exhibited. Who knows how many people she showed the video to and labeled him a thief. We've all agreed to stop going in there. The coffee sucks anyway and the service is pathetic.

First, it's the holiday week and there is a LOT of tourist travel in town. All of the price tags have been blacked out on products in the store and you will find you are paying airport-level mark ups on products. I'm not sure how Weights and Measures feels about this but it's a tad deceptive. Second, the place really wasn't very clean. We're in a pandemic where things should be getting wiped down on a more than regular basis and I couldn't even read the numbers on the card reader key pad in the store for the grime. Yuck. Fairly good selection of snacks and such, but again, you are going to get gouged for them this time of year. I really didn't think there was an "off season" for gas station pricing but I was today years old when I learned that. Pumps were busy and it looked like a lot of shuttles and transportation companies take advantage of the location. Gas prices appeared in line with other stations in the area.

Besides the grocery store near my house, this is probably the grocer I visit most in the summer…read moremonths. It's at the base of UT-150, better known as the Mirror Lake Highway, and it's just what you need when you're headed out for an adventure. I've talked about their connection to the highway before (summary: you can buy a $45 annual pass at their service counter) but I need to give them another shoutout. Over the last five years since my second review, I've been in countless times for pre-camp or pre-hike supplies. You know--the things you forget, or the junky things you get just because. I've stopped here for dinner a few times, but if you get there later than about 4pm, the selection of pre-made sandwiches, deli items, etc is pretty slim. And, to be honest, that's one area where I think they can improve. Not just the selection, but the care and quality that goes into those things. I mean, if I had my druthers, I'd stop at a local restaurant for food, but since I often come through town after dinner time on a Friday night after finishing work for the week, I want to get something quick! The magic is also with the gas station in that regard. I almost always fuel up here, even if I already have a nearly full tank. When I head up and out for 4WD adventures, the last thing I want is to have to turn back because of fuel worries. That little gas station just keeps on providing great drinks and a quick fuel. Add that to a grocery store that can help you grab things you may have forgotten (marshmallows!) and you've got a 1-2 punch that preps you for adventure.
