My cousin saw the post on her Facebook and it looks delicious. So we decided to go and try it. The owner explain to us about all different flavor. The staff was pretty nice. They are like a family own place. The place is not big but has about a few tables but able to sit. The dessert taste delicious and would order from them again

Uyuhaus is a hidden gem for ice cream lovers! The homemade ice cream is incredibly fresh, rich, and full of flavor.

Straw and Bubbles is a nice gem in Downtown MP. The Taro Milk tea here was really good, and they have a nice cozy sitting area where you can even make your own ramen! They have ALOT to choose from with bowls on the spot so you can enjoy there. You order through the Kiosk so it makes it easy to look at all the sweats and drinks they have. We also got a plain croffle that went perfect with our drinks but will be back to try other treats they have!

New addition - an assortment of instant ramen to choose from

We are frequently in the area and so stop in often. The lady running the shop is so nice. I usually order the strawberry matcha or the coconut purple berry, depending on whether I want something milky or fruity. The croffles on offer are also tasty. I'm partial to the plain croffles - buttery and lightly sweet. On our most recent visit, we noticed a new addition to the menu (and the wall) - an assortment of instant ramen noodles. There is also a hot water station, so you can make what you buy on site. I recently noticed another storefront coming to Mount Prospect (by Algonquin and Busse) called Ramen Library, and I have a feeling this is how it might be there, too. So maybe a sneak peek in a way. Will instant ramen cafes be the next big craze?

We visited on a rainy afternoon and was met with a very sunny and welcoming interior! Yellow and white are the main colors and boy do they pop! We ordered at the kiosks which were modern and user friendly. A great variety of drink options and customizations. Two drinks and 2 donuts was $20 which is more then we usually like to spend on a coffee date, however the quality was fantastic. Drinks both had great presentation and flavor. Sometimes these drinks don't look as pictured but these were so visually pleasing! The strawberry donut was just OK to us. Ours was a little stale. The mango one though.....so fresh and tasty! The topping was light sweet and airy. The woman who was working there was polite and kind. We had an overall very enjoyable time!

Cute little place on Emerson Street in Mt. Prospect! Lots of drink options! Fruity, tea and COFFEE!!! So many options available and everything we tried was delicious! The croffles were AWESOME and DELICIOUS! Designed to be easily split in half and very affordable! The 4 of mine cost just over $12. They are SO good! I'd go back just for those! Only thing I didn't love was the seating. There's only a few tables and they're not exceptionally comfortable but it's still a nice little place to sit and chat for a bit! You can tell it's family run, which I love! They're very nice and pretty quick! I'll definitely be back! If you're looking for a fun treat definitely stop in and visit Straws and Bubbles!

ordered via the touch screen. loved my matcha latte! the perfect balance of milk and matcha. not overly sweet either. my husband got the dirty matcha with tapioca balls. the tapioca was delicious and the perfect texture. the tiramisu croffle was good too. i love the cream on top because it was light and not too sweet. definitely want to try the other flavors too. the total was $21 for the three items - pretty pricey compared to other bubble tea shops but it's good for whenever you want to splurge.

DELICIOUS! Nice folx running it. Ordered at a kiosk, wish there was a bit more info about what was in each as they have some creative looking drinks. Stuck with my go to (Taro). They did not skimp on the taro or boba. My son also got one and said it's the best he's had (and we get boba tea every where we go LOL). Looking forward to being in the area again so I can try the lavender milk tea. I tried the Thai iced tea and matcha and not a fan hence the 1 star ding.

This place needs to be hyped more! They have a ramen station that is super cool too!

This place deserves more hype! I got the mango cream croffle, ramen from the station, and taro milk tea. Everything was awesome!!

Got this for delivery via Uber Eats for the first time. The matcha rose milk tea was really good but a bit overpriced at $7 for the amount (22 oz). Thai is the menu price not Uber Eats price that I'm referring to. The reason I ordered from here was that the Croffle sounded very intriguing. It's a crossover of a croissant and waffle but I like this so much bette Ethan either a croissant or waffle. It's not as dense and filling as a waffle and not as greasy and buttery as a croissant. It's very flaky, which is the best part of a croissant and fluffy and thick which is why I like the waffles and they can hold onto the flavor in the square pockets. I got 2 boxes of 3 croffle flavors including: the matcha cream, dark choco and cream, salted caramel and butter, strawberry cream, choco pretzel, and mango cream. My favorite was the mango cream because the fresh mango was a perfect balance of fresh and sweet followed by the dark choco cream. They are actually not that sugary as you'd imagine from looking at them. The cream is fluffy and delicious and on the sour/sweet side vs super sugary. The only thing I did not like was the cold brew. It's way too watered down and they have no options for milk. At $5 I expected it to taste better and be bigger. Overall, I'll be back for the croffles but will likely skip the drinks as I can get better for the price elsewhere. The croffles are very unique and worth every penny. I hope they come out with even more flavors to try!

We love the service, the food and the ambiance! They have the best Thai Bubble Tea and their tapioca is always on point

My experience here was OK. The staff are nice but their popping boba is more of a jelly than actual popping boba.

The prices were reasonable and their single scoop was very generous! I also loved how kid-friendly the shop was. They had drawings and coloring pages that kids had made displayed all over the walls. They also had plenty of toys and coloring books to keep the little ones entertained. The store was clean and brightly lit with cute ice cream photos decorating the space. Everyone working there looked so young that instead of wondering whether anyone was attractive, I started wondering when everyone's mother was coming to pick them up. One girl asked what flavor I wanted and I nearly replied, "Whatever people ate before you were born." This wasn't an ice cream run anymore. This was a mortality check. I entered Daisy's as a reasonably youthful man looking for dessert and walked out mentally pricing burial plots and wondering whether Costco sells Metamucil by the pallet. Fortunately, the ice cream was excellent... except for the non-sensical names. Besides the one labeled "smores" it was like trying to decide the enigma machine from WWII. Service is always super fast, no matter how many people are in line or waiting. There's a few benches so seating so you eat there. It's always brightly lit too. I've been there with a long drive thru line where cars are backed up on Rand Rd., but don't let that deter you from going- the car line moves super fast! Just pull up the menu while you wait so you know what you want when an employee walks up to your car to take your order. Speaking of the employees taking your order - they are all super friendly, they have a smile no matter how hot or cold it is outside, and they're so patient waiting for everyone to order. I think they must have a kindness, happy, friendly detector because this Andy's has all the nicest people working here. Even the people at the window and walk up! You see them working it together in harmony inside as they make each order. It is an impressive team, no matter what time of the day we go and how busy it gets! They work like really like their job AND each other (I'm kinda jealous!) The frozen custard is so smooth and creamy. It's perfectly flavored, we get the vanilla and have tried the chocolate which is decently chocolatey! They don't skimp on the toppings either. If anything, hubs says there's sometimes not enough ice cream to balance the amount of toppings. Service is excellent. Frozen custard is excellent. Wait time is great. Definitely a must go for dessert!

It has such a nice creamy, sweet milk base flavor and then you get the burst of fruit. I've tried the Ferrero rocher, Oreo, and other fruit flavors which were all yummy and true to their flavor names but the mixed fruit one is my go to. The staff here have always been great. I am not familiar with Latin American flavors/fruits and on multiple occasions, staff was very patient answering questions about different fruits or flavors of ice cream and even giving me a taste. On one occasion one of my kids had mentioned something about a green slushy and when we went to pay she gave him a small cup to try. They also are quite generous with the amount of ice cream they serve. They also have a large selection of dairy free paletas. I did not try one but a bunch in our group who are dairy free, raved about how smooth they were (as no dairy) and how strong the fruit flavor was. The mango was a very big hit. There is a reason why there is always a line here. If you have never tried paletas before you must try them and this is the location to try it from.
