We had the lunch special and let me tell you it's was absolutely incredible. Everything was fresh and made with lots of love There was 3 of us so we got to try 3 different starters and 3 different mains. We had the kebabs, chicken and gyros for the main. My personal favorite was the kebab it was juicy spiced perfectly and tasted heavenly, Still they were all delicious. Each dish was served with rice grilled tomato and jalapeños. We went to this restaurant after hearing about it. Having recently returned from Turkey, where we loved the food, we were looking forward to amazing Mediterranean food. It was a total waste of time and money. Besides being over priced, the food was mediocre at best and the staff - both our waiter and the manager, were absent for most of the meal. The octopus appetizer was adequate, the Branzino, was full of bones and tasteless. The Moussaka was also, tasteless - the worst we've ever eaten ! After the meal, the manager came around to ask about our meal, we told him about our issues with the food. His response was why didn't we complain to out waiter. I responded that if he had come to out table any time while we were eating, we would have, but we did not see him - by the way, the restaurant was almost empty - there were guests at maybe 2 other tables. Too bad, the restaurant was nicely appointed - almost upscale, however the bad service and tastless food were probably the reason that the place was almost empty. read more

Great spot, very good service. Our servers name was Tunch, he was very helpful and gave us plenty of suggestions. Food was very flavorful and fresh. We had the falafels, mixed platter, salad and lamb kebabs. My daughter had a fresh made flat bread with cheese. We tried the sweet pumpkin dessert, it was very good. Almost perfect. Very genuine Turkish cuisine with all the favorites. Food is not diluted for South Florida dietary preferences. Best baba ghanoush is the best in south Florida. Beef dishes are very tasty. Homemade breads are great. Staff is almost overly helpful and attentive. Deserts are homemade and taste like they are from an Istanbul cafe. My wife and I ate here and everything, and I mean without exception, was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very casual, there is no liquor license ( to my mind a good thing if you know in advance) and the staff were also some of the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and we eat out once or twice per week. If you like Greek/Turkish food then you need to try out this spot. One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to! The food is delicious,can feel the time and attention that it takes to prepare. What a fabulous restaurant. As we finished our bread with the delicious babaganou (home made) instantly another basket of the fabulous home made bread arrived. The prices on the wine and beer we had were really low and delish. I ordered lamb shank and my partner ordered mousaka, both were amazing. I don't eat rice and the waiter accommodated me with superb roasted potatoes. I have eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants, but none like this one. This restaurant goes way beyond any others. The shredded wheat dessert finished off our meal perfectly (though not sure I will fit into my shorts tomorrow lol).The lady who runs the restaurant is certainly a professional and made our evening really exceptional. Cannot rave enough about the food and service, the two most important ingredients in any fine restaurant. Ambience was certainly lovely with pretty Mini table lamps. Today was my first time going to this restaurant and I was surprised by the quality of the food and staff. The food is authentic and it tastes very similar if not identical to the food you'd get in Turkey so it felt like I went to a restaurant in my home country. The front staff being Turkish adds more authenticity to the restaurant. The decorations of the restaurant itself is very nice and relaxing, and everything is very clean. Unfortunately it was a horrible experience. We were seated and when I was handed the menu a very powerful BO odor cane right me and was so potent i lost my appetite. I didn't want to ruin my mother's meal so I ordered the grilled octopus but it was subpar. Her lamb was dry and had a peculiar taste. I was excited to try the lahmajoon but at 15.95 a piece when I normally buy a dozen for $14 seemed ridiculous. Very disappointed and will not be going back. read more

We had the special lunch so we tried the salad, ezme, and the sole; and we also had the Eskender. Not only was the food fabulous but the people who work there were fabulous as well.
