One evening, a friend and I were walking around the area looking for another restaurant when we stumbled across Carrot Express. The food smelled absolutely amazing, and I wanted to try it right then, but I had just finished a big dinner and couldn't eat another bite. A few days later, on Sunday, I finally got to try it when someone surprised me with an order from there for breakfast. I had a matcha and a wrap, and it was honestly the most delicious food I'd had all day. The matcha was okay -- not the best I've ever had, but still good for a quick pick-me-up, especially if you're nearby. The real star of the meal was the wrap. It tasted incredible, and there was a sauce inside that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this spot. This location is beautiful with tons of seating indoors and outdoors. They have a large variety of healthy options on their menu. I ordered a peanut butter smoothie and unfortunately didn't love it as it tasted very watered down. I would recommend giving a different drink a try. I wish I could come here every day to make sure places like this--clean, fresh, & healthier choices--stay open and patronized!! I don't live near here, so I'll do what I can when I can! Love the beautiful cafe design and set up. Plenty of seating, inside & out; clean bathrooms; easy to maneuver space; and comfortable environment. So many tasty choices to pick from--salads, protein bowls, vegan, smoothies, etc! While the staff aren't overly excited or friendly, they're very efficient and patient as you make the difficult decision of what you want. The cashier was gracious when I had menu questions, and made sure I got all the reward points and discounts I could get. Bonus points for that! It took forever to order our food for takeout. We then preceded to wait over 1/2 an hour for our food. I had to go up to the front 3 times asking them about my order. They continued to say 2 minutes. While I watched the people who ordered after me get their food, they had no explanation. The prices are out of control and the food was absolutely bland and not worth the money! Great option for healthy, fresh, and delicious food. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bowls, salads, wraps, and more. Juices, smoothies and some desserts. This location was clean, with quick ordering process and my food was made to order. The Orange Carrot juice was refreshing and delicious. The Poke Wrap, was a big portion and loaded with fresh ingredients. And the carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had. My only complaint is the price. I know we pay for quality, and fresh ingredients, which is all there but at $45 for one visit, it makes it almost impossible to enjoy frequently. TRULY LET DOWN! I felt sick last night and was happy to see that Carrot Express west Boca was open. I used uber eats and spent 90$ on juice. The juice came and i drank some, also waking up today to drink more. After looking at one of the labels, i realized they had been expired for 5 days. I called the store today and was offered a 15$ gift card and told manager would call me back within the hour. 6 hours later and still no call. Thumbs down! Don't feel safe using this location for your health food needs. If this is what we CAN see on the label, imagine what we can't. The kitchen and food storage is probably horrible. Never again. This is a rating for the carrot cake ONLY... having become completely despondent as to ever finding pizza, bagels or carrot cake as good as at the Jersey Shore, Brooklyn or Manhattan, and after years of spitting out the stale crumbs and garbage all the old northerners down here swear are as good as New York (because dementia has stolen all memory and sense perception), finally, a moist, sweet, chock full of carrot and ginger and zucchini bonafide CARROT CAKE with cream cheese frosting. The food here is light and healthy. I don't feel weighed down after my meal. Otherwise, I'm not a huge fan. The pricing is way above average and the portions small. Service is slow. Let me start by saying that my daughter loves this place and became a regular . First of all they don't speak English so it's impossible to make a phone order . When we get there we ordered and than they said they were out but they don't know how to refund you your money so they used an app to translate to tell you that and asks you to pick something else . So we did because communication was impossible ! Than we decided to take the banana bread but it was hard as a rock but they tell you to microwave it when we get home . I can't believe that place ! I attended a Yyelp event at the Carrot Xpress in East Boca and I really enjoyed the food there. I stopped in one night to pick up dinner on the way home at the West Boca location. This was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised at the interior of the restaurant. It was clean, and inviting. The girl behind the counter was friendly and took my order quickly. I visited Carrot Express today and brought a friend with me. My friend ordered the tuna melt and I ordered the Oriental Salad and chicken salad on the side. I had the carrot-orange juice and we took the carrot cake home for later. We were alone in the restaurant and we waited 40 minutes for the salad and the tuna melt. The prices are also double what I would normally spend at lunch. I did appreciate the servers allowing us to try the different salad dressings. Some I enjoyed more than others. The salad and the tuna melt were good with a nice lemony flavor and had carrots mixed in which I also do at home. I think the carrot cake was outstanding. We've been here several times since it opened. The menu is great, but the food quality/consistency has steadily declined. We do primarily take out. Too many times items were missing on meals. On this last visit, we ordered the Oriental Crunch salad and the Salmon wrap. The salad was missing the sprouts, so they gave me some extra carrots and avocado. Not what I really wanted originally. Unfortunately, their online app doesn't alert you of a missing ingredient (like Panera does). Then when I got home, we had to throw out some of the salad's avocado and lettuce because it was spoiled. Then I almost choked on a leaf stem in my wrap. I don't know why this leaf was even in my wrap. My wife was so grossed out she felt sick. read more

Finally tried Carrot Express at the West Boca location this weekend. I got the Liv Wrap and it was really good. Ingredients were very fresh and the pesto on the wrap was awesome and even had to get a side of it since it was that good. They have a nice size menu with a lot of good options to choose from as well as serving all day breakfast which is really cool. Although the wrap was great and everything else on the menu looks and sounds good, I do think the size of the wrap could have been bigger especially when it cost $14. Food and the regular staffers are too. However, the management is cheap and adds a 20% gratuity to all orders in the app to supplement the pay of staff rather than paying them a decent wage. They dont ask you if you want a 20% surcharge in the app and its very deceptive to remove it. If you dont catch it your meal is 20% more. I asked them to remove it in store so I could give a reasonable cash tip and the manager said he would but did not. read more
