Food was 3/5 and I'm being generous with that, sub par beer selection lax service but what really ruined the meal was this excruciatingly stinky poorly shaven gentlemen who asked me how my food was we immediately thought his hygiene represents the whole kitchen and staff probably will not return. read more

Horrible and overpriced. Do not waste your money. I tried the pizza the 1st time I went and it was undercooked and very bland. So I thought I will go back and try again. Got a sandwich (Chicago beef) this time. Same thing. 2 sandwiches with 2 drinks, no sides over 30.00 for lunch. The only good it is a very nice and clean restaurant. Excellent food and service!! Fast and friendly, and eager to please. You can tell the employees truly love their jobs. Today I tried the Hawaiian wings. Wings were plump, extremely tasty, and served hot to the touch, the way wings should be served. The Hawaiian sauce is sweet with a little heat and garnished with some pineapple and a gourmet red pepper. Quite an enjoyable meal. Highly recommend the Hawaiian wings!! read more

We were glad we ventured "out" tonight to try this new restaurant! The wings were rated "best ever" by my husband and friend. VPizza's wings were rated BEST in Fla. by Food Buzz blog. Meatballs were superb! Our 2 pizzas were superb! All ingredients are from Italy, including flour, which is so "light", you don't feel stuffed with the crust. Had a fantastic white margherita pizza. Delicious, great crust, super taste and flavor. Saw them pull it out of the amazing pizza ovens. Also had Calabrian spicy wings and they were fantastic. Wood fired wings with just the right amount of heat. I had it all for take out, but definitely want to go back for the extensive outdoor seating under the awning. My family got the chance to eat at the brand new V Pizza on Saint Simons Island and we have a new favorite pizza restaurant in our neighborhood! We tried the classic wings and they were hot out of the pizza oven and had such a unique and delicious flavor!! The pizzas were hot and cheesy with spicy Italian sausage, so good!! I also ordered the salad with pepperoni, artichoke hearts, cucumbers, and tomatoes with vinaigrette. Everything we tried was excellent and look forward to our next visit. read more

I have been 3 times and each time they are understaffed and the food is undercooked. The line gets unnecessarily long because they only have one person taking orders. I waited 12 full minutes in line to place and order and that is hard to do with young kids! Then I wanted to take a to go order so I went back in line and waited behind only 2 people and it took 13 full minutes to wait for two people ahead of me- while I had to leave two kids at the table by themselves. Then after that wait they told me it would take 40 minutes for my small to-go order. I will not be going there again and would encourage others not to waste their time. read more

Very disappointing. We were excited that a new place was opening close by. Take out pizzas, basic orders. Pricey for the quality. Pizzas are small crust was unevenly cooked, soggy. There are much better options for take out on SSI in this price range. We'll try it again and eat at the restaurant, try other options not the pizza. Maybe they'll improve with time. After reading the mostly good reviews we tried this place. Ordered wings and a pizza. Wings were burnt to where they should have thrown them out and started over but no, they would rather give me burnt wings that were inedible. Not very good business practice. The pizza had good flavor but a partially burnt crust. If you look at the pictures people have posted you will see the pizzas had burnt crust except one picture at the time of this posting. Again, not very good business practice to burn the wings and burn the crust of the pizza and give both to the customer. Both my wife and I were disappointed. Needless to say I wasted $35 and I WILL NEVER BE BACK. read more

This is one of the best places to get pizza! My family and I stopped here yesterday to grab a bite, even though it was a little bit of a wait all the pizza dough is made from scratch so it was worth the wait! The pizza was hot and delicious when we got it! Would definitely recommend going here! Additionally- the owners are amazing people! Been hearing about V pizza opening for nearly a year and the wait was definitely worth it. If their was a 6 star rating they would get it. Their pizza are second to none in the entie Golden Isles area!! They call it "Old school pizza" because it is meant to be eaten with a knife and fork. The Cryin Hawaiian Wings are top notch. Sweet and spicy but not over the top. The Quattro pizza with added pepperoni is where it's at.
