I was told about this place by a friend and was told to ask for Karen. I called to make appointment and they said she was available and then come to find out it wasn't even Karen. I've never had nail fungus before and I kept asking what should we do about it, should we put anything over it or let it breathe and she kept working fast and said if it gets worse come back and they'll take the nail off. She also didnt remove all of the blue from my set before and you can still see it in my nails she painted over it. Yes I was in and out in less than an hour and it was only $45 but the nail technician didnt address any of my concerns and rushed through the whole process. I should've spoken up and stopped her but I wasnt in the mood and had things to do. I will not be coming back here. This post is long overdue. I've been coming here for the past 3+ years now. My favorite place! The ambience is relaxing. I usually call to set my appointments and I've walked in and they were eager to assist. Most times I show an Inspo pic and everytime they always come through. The quality of my nails are good too, I've had my acrylics last an entire month with no breakage. The salon is clean and I've never had any problems. The price is pretty affordable and they even have a stamp card system so make sure you bring it. They're also pretty quick as well, typically I'm in there 30mins to an hour depending on when I go. Everyone is absolutely amazing and I'll always keep coming! I moved 40+ minutes away and will still make the trip! I've included some of my favorite recent sets . This was my second time being here my first time was so great that I told myself I would go again for my birthday. So as soon as I walked in they told me to pick out a color I ended up picking the same as the first time. As well I proceeded to let the lady know that some of my toes are really bad due to an accident at an another salon. And I told her can we please get them to be equal and cute. She was kind and said yes. As soon as I showed her the color she told me no. So I told her to pick something similar to that color. Then she said yes it will be powder I said yes that's perfect. As soon as we start doing my toes, the lady doing it proceed to tell me what I want and I said full set French tips... she tells me no I won't be able to do that due to ur toe it's very "ugly" at that point I was so sad and mad. Then she proceeds to talk about me to her coworkers. Like why would you do that when I already have told her how I felt about my big toe. At that point I just wanted to leave.. She proceeds to do just my big toes and not a "full set" and then she didn't pick a color I wanted she said because she didn't think it's going to look good she instead does bright pink color. I told the other lady who came to do my nails that I did not like that color at all, and this is not what I wanted at all ugh at that point I just wanted to break down because my birthday is literally in 2 days. I proceed to show her the picture I wanted originally and show her my toes how they look nothing to the picture. The lady literally gets mad tells me "ur nail is so ugly that's why, and gets so upset starts talking in her damn language in my face" I told her you know what I was being polite. But if you going to get mad like that take them off and I will go somewhere else. I told her it's already bad so can u at least try to do something a bit more better. On top of that The first girl doing my nails did such a sloppy job I wanted powder and 1 nail in she realized she messed up and tells me sorry we going to find a nail color instead. $117 no discount Literally cried I hate my nails so much. Hidden Gem My sister wanted to take me out and get our nails done to end this year with beautiful nails . She knew how stressed I have been this past few months . However, we didn't expect to find a hidden gem around the Federal way area right across Goodwill. It was such a nice day to end our year. They were very accommodating and friendly . They made sure we were okay and if we needed water or even tea or coffee. What's so great is that their mani pedi only cost $35 compare to the other places here in Federal way. The person helping me was very thoughtful , letting me know next time to wear loosen pants so that she can do a better massage on my whole calves. They did a great massage too which is included in the package (although it was a bit painful in the arm area because they really pushed and grind in there so make sure you tell them if it's too much). The Deep powder nails cost $40 and pedi by it self was $25 . I was a bit surprise on the price because the place where we go to in Renton next to Genki Sushi does mani pedi for only $25, so in my head that's a bit more of a deal there than here. I believe we ended up paying $100 together plus $21 tip. Although, I was a bit forgotten towards the end, since they were kind of busy wrapping up for the night cleaning, so they could go home soon. What I dislike is that they really had that strong cleaning smell they used on their floor, so waiting there while my sister is being worked on was a bit of a struggle. I was hoping they could have done that when we are gone, since there were still a few of us inside inhaling all that chemicals mixed with everything in the place. I couldn't get out of the place because I was trying to dry my nails and it's very cold outside . In conclusion, we were still very happy with the outcome and can't wait to come back with our other friends and family. Thank you again for the laughs and for the great service. read more

Then she tried to break down the charges & still insisted on charging me an extra $5. Sure I'll pay for my broken nail $5. & gel polish $10 & my fill $25. But Im not paying for my nails being long. When she wasn't the one who gave me a full set. (It would make sense if I didn't come in with a current set & needed a full set + length.) But paying for a FILL + length? No. Get outta here. I'm with Kim over 4 years, she is a nails goddess, she is always gentle with all services that I get from her. That's so sad Kim left there. I text Kim she tell me give Karen a try and I did, I came in it was Monday is slow day for a fill and she did ok. I can't come in weekdays all the time so only when I have time and I called in make an appointment and I show up on time and they let me sit on the pedicure to soak my feet like 1/2 hours. Anyway the new owner is rude and pushes clients through lilt a cattle, she doesn't care about QUALITY only care for QUANTITY she doesn't care she has not enough EMPLOYEES working on that day whoever walk-in or call in she tell them to come in 1/2 hours that's craziness and she doesn't focus on my nails she file my nails so thin burned and not filed even...:((((((I'm very upset paid and leave the 2nd days my nails start to get tender and broke one nail so I have to come and get it fix. Took my younger sister here for her b-day. She really wanted to get acrylics for the first time and I was like "efff it why not!" She got a gel/shellac full set manicure ($50)and I got a regular polish pedicare ($28). I would honestly give this place a 3/5 due to the fact I called in and ask if I needed to make an appointment or do walk in. The lady on the phone told appt is highly recommended. We made an appointment but it wasn't until 30 mins after the appointment did they finally get started with my sister and I. They kept us busy by telling us to look at the sample polishes. Fortunately enough my sister and I were not in a hurry but still I like to think if I make an appointment I shouldn't be needing to wait 30 mins after the appointment. The only reason why I jump it up a star is becuase my younger sister is very happy. And the nail technicians seem to do a very good job. Granted they never talk to us (my sister & I) but they kept talking to each other. They don't seem to care too much and have the attitude of get it done. Which works for me. Under new ownership. I have visited twice since and completely disappointed both times! The new owner needs to go back training! My nails are pitted, misshapen, and to short ti reshape! I asked multiple times to fix the pitting. She removed topcoat but was in to big of a rush to push the next client through! DO NOT GET YOU NAILS DONE HERE!!!!! My niece went here twice and both times they did a horrible job. The first time she got dip powder and they were not done correctly. There was literally a gap between her nail and the extension so that things would get stuck there. It was extremely thick and each nail was a different shape and length, not at all symmetric. Then, she went to get them removed there. This was the WORST possible thing that could have happened. They shaved her nails down to the core and they were extremely sensitive to anything she touched. They began breaking and the attached image is them growing out slowly but surely. THEY SEVERELY DAMAGED HER NAIL BEDS!! She usually has very nice long thick nails, but it's going to take a while for them to go back to their original place. read more

Went for the first time the other day, called them same day & they got me in last minute for an appt. I came out satisfied! The pricing for the quality, especially during a time like this I believe where supplies are more expensive during COVID-19, it was well worth it. I will definitely be a regular here especially since my old nail salon started overcharging this year (even before the pandemic). I don't know the name of the girl that did my nails but I love how they turned out. She was accommodating to my needs & made sure I was okay with shapes/length before moving forward, & checked multiple times to make sure they were even. I am usually picky about these things. I came in for the latest appt so she had to leave before I got my nails painted, the girl that painted my nails accidently moved my colored polish once using the top coat on a couple of nails. I just know next time to schedule a little earlier so I can ask for any fixes when needed. I was happy to see that their was a nail salon near my house that's open later than most! I show up and i am greeted by a room full of ladies. I ask if they have time for a pedicure and they say yes!! Awesome! They take me right away. I'm excited that the Yelp reviews are great & that their service thus far is pretty good. I have NO idea who my technician is but she was polite. She asks how I want my toes done & I tell her. Cool. She gets to work. She's moving along pretty quickly. Has a firm hand so she's low key hurting my toes. She's working so fast that she goes a little to low on one of my toe nails causing me to squeal. Whatever. That sometimes happens. The pedicure gets tougher as she's moving along and I'm like ok, this woman is hurting me! (I'm the type of guy that doesn't speak up.) I say nothing. We get towards the end and let me just say I have pretty descent feet for a man. My feet are soft and not really rough. THIS WOMAN STARTS SCRUBBING THE HELL OUT OF MY FEET AND MY POOR LITTLE TOES! "OUCH, YOU HURT ME!!" No sympathy. She continues to scrub the hell of my ALREADY SOFT TOES! WTF!!!!! The pain goes away shortly after. I get up to pay. Never again. I had been here several time and had great experiences. Last night I came in for a dip powder. After about a 10 minute wait, they seated me and started the removal process of the previous dip powder. But then they let me sit there for 30 minutes (!) with those little pieces of tinfoil on my fingers. I was very frustrated after such a ridiculous wait that I had them finish the removal and left. At least they didn't make me pay to sit there! I understand that they were busy, but they should not have started the process if they would not be able to finish within a reasonable period of time. I would have been more than happy to come back at another time if they couldn't take me. Now I'll just find another place. Federal Way has tons of nail salon options. This was my first time visiting this salon. They were super nice and friendly when I arrived. I didn't have an appointment but was able to walk right in. Towards the end of my visit I noticed they were pretty darn busy. I had a pedi and shellac manicure for $50 plus tip. My only comment is that when they did the pedicure, the instruments were package and I believed them to be sanitary. When they did my manicure they pulled tools out out a make-up bag and those were definitely not clean. I could see particles near the blade and even a bit of rust at the joint. I asked for a clean set of tools and she got another bagged set (just like for the pedi). All in all, I was very happy with my visit and am very likely to return. read more

After almost losing my finger with an infection from D & D nail salon in Puyallup I was scared to get my nails done again. I asked for someone that could understand English, and I showed her a picture of what happened to my finger, and she was very understanding. Karen did my nails and it's by far the best nail job I've ever had. She listened to me, took her time and understood my fears and concerns. I live a few blocks from here so it's super convenient.
