I tried the viral chicken Caesar wrap at Offset Sandwich Exchange after seeing all the hype around it. A heads up before you go: I would recommend coming on a weekday when it is less busy, because I have heard it sells out quickly on the weekends unless you get there right when they open. I went on a Wednesday and was able to try it without too much trouble. The wrap itself was decent, but I personally thought it was a little overhyped. It had good flavor and was put together well, but it did not completely live up to the viral buzz for me. So we all know this was viral for a bit. I loved the freshly grated cheese and a decent size for the price. Service was also fast. The wrap as a whole though, a bit lacking. I feel like there was very little chicken in the wrap. The dressing was in and on the side so no issues there, but I really felt like I paid $15 or so to eat a lettuce wrap. If you're looking for a juicy burger, THIS is the spot. I found their food truck while visiting Green Bench Brewing and decided to give them a try. I ordered the smashburger with cheese (and no tomato LIKE GOD INTENDED). Ordering was easy and it took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. On first bite, I fell in love. First of all, the burger is huge! No skimping on portions here, so come hungry! Not pictured, but we also got the Cajun fries. They are crinkle cut style and a nice addition to the meal. We finalllllyyy got to try the chicken Caesar wrap. We went around 6pm and they had 2 left on a weekday. When we go on the weekend, they are completely sold out by noon. Service is always friendly. You order and then you can go find a seat outside and they will come find you. It's a lively atmosphere because it's basically all connected with the brewery and wine bar. Had to come try the iconic chicken caesar wrap during Mezzo Market and was so impressed! Definitely one of the better caesar wraps I've had- the extra parm on top and the lemon zest really make it. I also love when there's croutons in the wrap. The line was crazy long and their staff was moving as quick as they could. We ordered 3 of the final 7 wraps, so I definitely recommend going early especially on a weekend (and mosts certainly on Mezzo days). I finally tried the famous chicken Cesar wrap and it was good but left me a bit disappointed. So, my order was prepared and brought out to me vs them calling my name, which was really nice. Meat, lettuce ratio was good. They cut the wrap and dip it in shredded parm and give you an extra side of dressing to dip in. The flavor was great with a nice citrus balance to the Cesar dressing, but my lettuce was soggy. The chicken wasn't hot so it seemed like they dressed it way too early. I got a chicken caesar wrap during a busy outdoor market day. They warned that it would take about 20 minutes, so we went into the brewery next door and they delivered our food to us inside! The quality was much better than I was expecting from a tiny food truck on a busy day. My friend got the eggplant caprese and it looked very good - thin crispy eggplant slices on fluffy bread.
