If I could review all my services individually they would be wildly different scores. my facial was stellar and the esthetician did some work with extractions! She got a bunch that the facialist from two weeks ago (different location) skipped! Worth it!!! Normally I go to cheapie massage spots so I was a little anxious and hoping this place wasn't too pretentious. The staff is super nice and pleasant. My manicurist Adrianna was skilled and fast. My waxer Leeza was so sweet and she was very precise with my brows. Now to why I came- the massage. The room was super clean. Massage bed was heated and cozy. The music was soothing. I was relaxed before my therapist even came in the room.I opted for the CBD oil. Definitely try this. It was an extra $20 and I would get it again. My therapist Dinaro was the star of my visit. I got the deep tissue massage and the pressure was just right. She really knows how to get to the knots and work them out. I loved my massage. I will come again And treat my husband. My daughter and I made an appointment for massage and facial for noon on June 1, 2026. My daughter was stuck in traffic so I made the receptionist aware only to be told there would be an additional cost of $25 because she had to make the adjustment. I made her aware that we have been customers for over fifteen years. She apologized and said the fee was to be applied. No place in the contract states that policy. I believe I'll have to find another place because in my opinion the $25 could have been waived. Will make my granddaughter & grandson aware that we will no longer use them. Horrible experience here today. I got a gel manicure and asked for a stripe pattern, to which my manicurist agreed. She did not take any care in prepping my nails, meaning she left a lot of my old color around the edges of my nails and did not shape my nails at all. When she finished the base coat, she attempted to do this stripe pattern, but it was possibly the worst attempt at stripes i've ever seen. I'm not upset that this woman could not do stripes, but that she accepted my request KNOWING she could not replicate my inspiration. So now i have a plain, patternless base color that I would not have chose otherwise, old color on the edges, uneven nails, and no refund!!!???? She attempted to fix the color at the edges and ended up filing off half the top coat on the nails she did paint. So so horrible. Love this place!!! My friend and I came here 30 mins late and they were still able to accommodate us. We did have to cut down on our massage time. First, my friend and I ordered through Groupon a deal for Facial 45 mins and Massage 60mins! Really great deal! We called them to make an appointment! They were very nice. When we got here, the place is clean and the hostess are very friendly. I believe they offer complimentary glass of wine but since were late, we didn't receive that which was okay. On to the treatments, I had Olga for my facial and she's very sweet and could tell she's experienced. I loved the atmosphere in the room. Everything smelled so stress-free! I went in for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. Originally, a technician by the name of Tatiana was set to complete my service. Upon seeing her, I felt that her energy was off as she practically grunted when she asked me to pick my polish. Always trust your instincts. She barely greeted me, didn't offer to put my coat away, and didn't offer me a drink which is customary at this location. As she's doing my nails, I simply ask her if she can clean under my nails. She then looks up at me with this extremely condescending look to which she says I quote "You're picky. When I go to the salon, I tell them what I want and I stay on my phone." I clearly understood that she was basically telling me that I should keep my mouth shut. At this point, I was upset that this nail technician would think it's normal to overstep her boundaries and speak to me in such a way. She obviously lacks basic training in customer service. At this point, I tell her to stop the service and get someone else. I speak to the manager who agrees that Tatiana's comment was inappropriate and offers Adriana. If you go to this salon, request Adriana. She's an absolute gem. She immediately apologized for Tatiana's action, putting me at ease, and made sure that I left satisfied with my service. Attention Management: Adriana is the only reason that you're getting 3 stars instead of 1. I suggest you have a serious discussion with Tatiana about her attitude. Honestly, Isabel the stylist was AMAZING. She clearly cares about her clients and I knew I was in good hands. However, I will NEVER return. I've been before with Groupons for multiple services throughout the years. The older blonde (owner?) lady at the front desk really scams you. I also got messages all week trying to rush me in on other days when I didn't consent to that. I bought a groupon valued at $139 which offered cut & style with roots or partial color. I needed some partial growth recolored and I was quoted $205 in ADDITION to my $139. I have long hair and I get that places like this LOVE to charge people for length even though it's still cutting hair the same. Charging me $200 when I already paid for a service is so completely absurd and inflated, it's laughable. The older blonde lady makes a big show of calling the 'front' to offer me a deal of $175 (in addition to my $139 Groupon) and I still declined. At the end, she called the stylist amid seeving another client to make sure I didn't lie about the color service and see if I tipped. I tipped $40 and will never return or recomend Vada to another person. Not sure if she's racist her what her issue was that was despicable behavior. This review is about their waxing and manicure service. Booking for the 2 services on separate occasions was a breeze and they follow up with a call / text as a reminder. This is my go-to spot for chocolate waxing. I found this place because of a Groupon deal and I kept coming back even if I had to pay full price because the service is phenomenal. I've tried other places and end up getting literally burned. The technicians here are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I snagged the Shellac Groupon to try their manicure services and tried it for the first time last night and. I loved how my nails came out (picked 2 colors to use, one on top of the other) and liked most of the experience. It would have been a 5-star experience if not for the tech buffing too near my left thumbs' nail bed it scraped some of my skin and also nipped too close it made 2 cuts (see photos). I went to Vada for a single process, cut & blow-out based on a groupon offer. Since I needed the service done the Sat before Mother's day, I called Vada to make the appointment first. They said they would honor the offer, but asked that I did not purchase through Groupon - I assume to save on the commission. On arrival I am told due to my long hair it would be $20 more for the cut & blow out. I was also told that the "single process" meant for roots only & mine were too long to qualify so it would be $65 more too. These extras doubled the cost. I was in a bind and said yes. Then it got worse. I was asked what color, and I said med brown cool/ash - no brass or red please. The tech started to mix without showing me a sample of the color or even bringing one over to match! I had to stop her and ask for it. Then it was an argument because she was going way too dark and picking a warm tone. I have been coloring for 30 years, I know how it works. The manager got involved - said the tech was matching to my darkest base for the root touch-up. I pointed out since I am now paying more for a "full single process", that should not matter. Manager agreed, tech went to mix the color I choose. Bottom line - She mixed the color I did not want. My hair is dark and very reddish! I noticed it during the blow-out but was told it was due to the lighting. Such BullShit. All day at the family party everyone commented on how red my hair is particularly on top. Now that I washed, it is even worse. Picture is an hour after I left the salon. Avoid this salon. It practices deceptive processes. read more

Came here for a last minute gel mani and regular pedi session on a Friday at around 1 pm. I only had to wait for about 10 minutes. They offered me water. I used the restroom and put my coat in the coat closet while I waited. Mayra did both my pedi and mani and she was amazing! You can tell she's been doing this for a while. She would keep going back and perfecting whatever needed to be adjusted, which I appreciate. I asked for a special design (see photo) and she was completely comfortable executing it. A LOT of places have a hard time doing something other than a basic French manicure, so I have to scour their review photos to see if they might be able to handle something like a cool ombre. Voila! They honored the current Groupon price of $40 for a gel mani and regular pedi + $15 for the special design + tax + tip (cash or Venmo directly to the technician). Their regular bottles were all Essie, which I don't love. You have to pay $5 extra for higher quality nail polish. Kind of silly, but so many places do this. I came here a week ago for a shellac manicure. I purchased a groupon for an awesome price. I had the pleasure of having Lucia as a nail technician. She was very kind and took her time with my nails. She made sure she applied enough coats (four) so that my nails would look good. There was not anything out of place and my gel manicure was very neat. In the end, I wasn't crazy about the color I selected but that was a fault of my own lol. Next time, I'll try another color. No chips so far and it has been a week. I've been coming to Vada for almost a year now and I absolutely love this place. They offer an excellent menu of services and the prices are very fair and even competitive when I researched other spas. My favorite tech is Irina, she's amazing!! She does both my facial (I highly recommend the Vitamin Sea facial for an instant 10 years off your face) and my deep tissue massage, so it's a beautiful, unbroken energy with the same person. The nail salon is very upscale and I really like the set up with privacy curtains between the chairs. The entire staff treats you like a VIP, and I always feel like I've given myself the biggest hug after leaving. The location is excellent, steps away from the West 4th street station. I visited Vada after seeing it on a Groupon for a gel manicure for $23 ($2 off the usual Groupon price of $25, and the full price is around $40). I booked my appointment over the phone and it was pretty easy with the receptionist. I also showed up an hour early and the salon was able to accommodate me. The quality of my mani is great, if not 4-5 stars; it was the level of comfort of the salon that needs improvement. I couldn't relax because my arm was awkwardly placed with my hand to rest on the UV machine. I couldn't wait to get out of the salon because I felt uncomfortable and not at all relaxed. So bummed about my haircut. I went in for a standard trim to my long very fine hair, and explained to the concierge that I wanted to "take off 3-4 inches to clean up the ends" because they were lacking volume. The cut started off great! Then the stylist who didn't speak English started butchering the ends with thinning sheers AND point cutting...as I mentioned my hair is super fine, unfortunately she was unable to comprehending when I was asked why she started shredding the ends. The blow out looked very nice, but 3 days later it's looking worse on the ends than when I went in and it's now several inches shorter. I have a photo shoot with some athlete sponsors next month and am going to have to pay hundred of dollars to get extensions to compensate for all the volume taken out of my hair which is exactly the opposite of what I asked for. The spa itself is very clean, and appointment availability is great, and the staff was super friendly. Just very unfortunate to walk away with a shitty cut for my hair. read more

Booked a couples massage for Valentine's Day, and must say, this was pretty great. Got there a little later on a Saturday, and as we were waiting they passed us complimentary wine. A little bit more like fruit juice than wine, and couldn't finish, but nice thought. When we first entered, our room had disco lights going off, which at first was kind of cute, but just got a little annoying. We did a body scrub first, which, was not my favorite. Not because of them, just wasn't a fan of the rough exfoliation and then sitting in it. My partner said it was too rough as well. Wouldn't do this again. My massage was fantastic. Lina was my masseuse and she was outstanding. I have a lot of tightness and usually I'm in a lot of pain during massages. This was the first that was relaxing without being over the top. Loved. It was hot stone which was also magical. We then got facials as well which were lovely as well. Very nice job, and would definitely come back for that as well. All in all great prices and great job. Booked a vitamin c facial through ClassPass. There was a scheduling conflict but the staff was really responsive and took care of it through email and phone call. The place has tons of service and spans across two floors. Top floor had nails and hair and lower floor had a really aesthetic spa area. Only reason for the lower rating is cause I wouldn't recommend the facials here for those with sensitive skin or are more aware of the skincare methods. I received a physical exfoliation with a granular scrub and a physical extraction of my black head that broke skin. Subsequent treatment with vitamin C ended up sting a lot. I mentioned this to my esthetician and she did her best to clam the inflammation with a variety of masks but the damage was done. Came home with broken skin and bruised nose. The treatment method was a little outdated for facials but the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I would overall Yelp rating for this place is highly accurate. read more
