For starters, this place's bottomless brunch is SO GOOD!!!!!! Their drinks are so delicious, I could just have them for all three of my meals. The Waikiki, CHEF'S KISS OH MY GOD. The scrambled egg was okay, but the poké bowl, they did their BIGGEST one with that. The garlic aioli was pure GASSSSS. It's a nice a cute cozy sit-down, my only complaint is that I almost fell down the steepest stairs ever and split my skull open going to the bathroom. read more

we went here for a brunch on Sunday ( we had reserved a week prior) and everything was so yummy! these are definitely the best pancakes I've had in DC hands down - so soft and fluffy! my friends really liked their tuna poke bowl too. i was also a big fan of their chilaquiles - highly recommend! our food came on time and the seating near the window is also really cute for group pictures. i think this is definitely an underrated place for good brunch options read more

I've been to vagabond for both brunch and dinner, and I've loved both! The menu options aren't incredibly exciting, but it's all well prepared and in a fun setting. The space is very beachy and modern, but there's fun music that turns it from relaxed to energetic. I loved the Pura Vida scramble at brunch (and the breakfast burrito looks great too), and at dinner I really enjoyed the chicken skewer plate with bok choy and Mediterranean salad. Came for brunch with some friends and when you fist walk in you see the cute beachy vibe with a nice bar area. Our server was helpful and friendly and attentive with our bottomless drinks. I got the vagabond bowl which was simple but delicious. The others at my table had chilaquiles and then the pancake combo meal. For drinks - espresso martinis and guava mimosas. I'd recommend this as a great spot to meet up with friends for brunch and it seems like they have a cool downstairs /back room that probably is fun at night or for private events. read more

I am giving it a 4 star for the service and ambiance. The waitress was a very nice young lady and the inside of the restaurant gave us a nice feeling. Otherwise, I wouldn't add more about food, it wasn't anything I would come back for. The Pasteis de Nata was not event a 10% of what it should be, better rename that pastry, just in case, to avoid confusing people. read more

Wow, I will definitely be back! Amazing service, the wait staff and hosts in particular were so sweet and nice. And dude, $44 for an entree and all you can bring cocktails, such a steal. Also, other restaurants TAKE NOTE! Offer unlimited brunch cocktails other than Mimosas or Bloody Marys! Some people like other options, especially a good espresso martini. Went here to celebrate a close-friend's birthday. We were able to reserve a table for over 10. It was a surprise for our friend, so they even let us sit down 30 minutes prior to our reservation due to our table being ready - and let us wait to start our bottomless brunch. First time here, very calm interior design - teals and white. It was previous a bar that was very dark, so I like how they redid the inside. I got the Açaí bowl, it was large and yummy. We hosted an event at vagabond and they were so gracious and amazing. We stayed past our event time and ordered more drinks and they rewarded us with free shots. The few apps they gave us were great- hummus, tuna tartar - really stellar. They gave us a few bottles of wine which were also quality. The vibe inside is also so cute it's very white and clean with blue accents so it's got kind of a Greek Mykonos vibe going. Sad this place opened up right as I'm leaving DC! read more

Drinks were good but someone in our party got fish and it came ice cold. Our waitress didn't check on us once, we had the menus the entire meal, didn't get the drinks we ordered until we asked again, had empty glasses and plates on our tables. The manager came to apologize about the fish and offered to buy a dessert which we declined and then refused to comp anything else from our meal. The waitress never apologized for the uncooked food or service. Despite having several open tables, they only seated us after asking several times if we were going to have a table. The ambiance would be nice if everything else wasn't so bad. The Cesear salad we ordered had no dressing and was just oily. Even with the ambience and drinks I wouldn't recommend. read more

No complaints. I had a group of 7 looking to try a new brunch spot. Making and confirming the reservation was simple and they sat our group even though we arrived 15 minutes early. We had a nice big window booth that comfortably sat our group. It was busy and noisy, but did not feel overwhelming for a Sunday afternoon brunch. Everyone enjoyed their food and the drinks began slow, but picked up as soon as we ordered the food. The waitress was friendly and made sure we had what we needed, including a final drink before closing out. Recommend checking it out! read more

Love love loved the yucca here! It was crispy and delicious. Next time I think I'll get just that along with skewers. The poké was a huge portion and very filling and the bok choy was some of the best I ever had. We were sat right away on a Friday night and the service was good. The Dan Dan noodles were SO good. The sauce was the perfect combination of creamy and spicy, and there was a generous amount of minced pork that balanced everything out really well. The wontons paired perfectly with the chili sauce that came with them! They were spicy--my ears turned red and my nose started running--but I literally could not stop going back for another bite. Even the wontons alone were incredibly filling. I don't live anywhere near this place, and I genuinely wish I did. I traveled pretty far to get here, and I'd absolutely do it again. This was one of those meals that stays on your mind long after you've left!

The vibe at the rooftop bar is absolutely incredible! Their happy hour, from 4-6pm, is a hidden gem. While the menu may be small, it's packed with flavor. The yuca fries are perfectly crispy and the burger sliders are just to die for - definitely worth the visit. The drink selection complements the bites perfectly, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a long day or kickstart the evening. I got a strawberry margarita and some mozzarella sticks to take the edge off, and both did exactly what was required of them. The prices were also refreshingly cheap, which feels especially commendable for Georgetown, and they always seem to have some kind of happy hour or deal going on. It is the sort of establishment that understands a bargain is still one of society's greatest pleasures. I also really liked the vibe here. It has a cool old-school feel, there are TVs around, the music is good, and there are tons of places to sit so it never feels too cramped. It is the kind of place where you stop in casually and then realize you have been there much longer than originally intended, which I consider a very positive sign. The location is another major point in its favor. Being right across from the Georgetown waterfront makes it a perfect stop before or after a walk by the water, and that alone gives it a certain advantage in the local social circuit. Overall, Mr. Smith's is a very solid Georgetown option for drinks, snacks, and a reliably good time. I would absolutely go back.

Score! The bar area was not too packed but only one bartender to manage the entire restaurant so that became a challenge. He was super nice and welcoming but too overwhelmed. We got our order taken after about a ten minute wait. Drinks also came about 15 minutes after we sat, so ten minutes just to wait and five minutes to have him make it after the order. It appeared that it was a shift change but still only one bartender for the evening. Ambiance is like Cheers the T.V. show. Literally a pub. Prices are totally reasonable! So I'd definitely come back, I think they definitely need more bartenders and/or manager presence in the front to help. Team work makes the dream work and there was none of that there. We did notice a guy heading home when the bartender asked to be "cashed out", I assume that was the manager trying to hit the front door but if you see your bartender struggling, step in don't try and leave. My friend ordered the fish with purple potatoes and green beans, and the fish was a 10/10. It was really good, and the sauce it came with was absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that I wished the vegetable portions were a little larger. Overall, the experience reminded me that I need to visit Clyde's more often. Of course I wasn't going to do that and they're obviously lying so I wouldn't see that they purposely charged items I didn't order. Every bar or cafe can easily see what items you've been charged, people. She then reluctantly fixed the bill and charged the proper amount, but of course I wake up to see they still fraudulently billed me a second time for items I never ordered. Going out to have a drink shouldn't be this frustrating.
