I was referred to Dr. Vahe by a friend of mine. He's one of the best dentists in Los Angeles. His office is very clean and organized. His staff are super friendly and even call you a day before your appointment to confirm you can make it. Dr. Vahe actually spends time with each patient and doesn't rush to get to the next patient. He accepts insurance and cash patient and his cash patient prices are fair! I have personally been there twice in the last 3 months. First time was for a cleaning and the second time was for a filling. Main reasons I will always go by Dr. Vahe: 1. Very clean, and sanatizes everything after each patient. 2. I have pretty major dental anxiety after a bad past experience at another dental practice, so I was terrified coming in for my first appointment with Dr. Karimian. I was a new patient and they took the time to read the notes I submitted regarding my dental history/concerns before my first appointment with them. When they found out I was nervous, everybody there truly could not have been nicer. I felt like they really cared and wanted to make sure that my dental anxiety didn't continue after visiting their office. I have a hard time finding business in Los Angeles that make me feel like I'm in good hands. I grew up in a suburb with a more small-town feel, and it felt like businesses back home cared about the people in their community much more than the businesses here in Los Angeles care about Angelinos. In Los Angeles, a lot of businesses get by simply by doing the bare minimum, capitalizing on quantity over quality. But coming in to see Dr. Karimian, I felt that same small-town energy and I felt like they cared about providing a quality service to me. The staff took the time to keep me updated each step of the way and to explain things in ways I could easily understand. I didn't feel overwhelmed, just taken care of. Dr. Vahe Karimian takes great time and care with me, explains everything that he is going to do thoroughly and is really looking out for my overall dental health rather than just "finishing the job". He likely saved two of my teeth from being root canals and instead slowly and methodically removed the cavities until he then gave me the option of attempting deep fillings and waiting them out to see if root canals would be absolutely necessary. Of course I went with the filling option and they thus far have not required any further treatment. I bet that some dentists would have just followed through with the root canals without even letting me know what was going on. In addition to all of this, they have been extremely accommodating as far as giving me quick appointment times and general scheduling. I very much appreciate him and all of the staff at the office and would extremely highly recommend him to anyone after my first four visits. Both he and his staff have been a million times better than the previous office I was receiving care from. The difference is like night and day. read more

So thankful to have found Dr. Karimian. It feels like I have been searching for a decent dentist forever, with no luck...until about a month ago. From the moment I called the office to schedule an appointment and throughout the post-procedure process, everything was beyond effortless. Dr. Karimian and his staff, Amy and Stephanie are incredible. They are not only such a delightful presence, but are also extremely helpful and accommodating. I have a busy work schedule and they work around it. Not to mention they work on Saturdays which is AMAZING. On my first visit Dr. Karimian pointed out an issue with my tooth and given the urgency, he explained the process in detail, told me my options, made his recommendations and was able to get my tooth taken care of that very same day. No coming back, waiting, none of that. Unlike any other dentist I have been to, Dr. Karimian, as he is working on your teeth, tells you exactly what he is doing, how it might feel, and even the anticipates the symptoms you may feel in the days following the procedure. This is not only reassuring for someone that does NOT like going to the dentist, but it provides great insight. I have had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Karimian and I am grateful to have found a doctor who is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, caring, and attentive.
