I feel like none of which I've gone to have listened to clearly understand what I want- instead they just did what they thought to be best. And in the end game, I never felt "wow!" after an appointment. I just felt like "ugh, I wasted a few hundred dollars when I could've done this at home." Then Megan enters into my life! I went to her for an initial consultation where she advised me so well on the steps I needed to take to achieve what I envisioned. She was really sweet and really helpful! My first appointment with her, she applied gloss to the section of my hair with most brass which helped tremendously and gave me the best haircut I've ever had! I really, really love the cut. And it was so quick! She knows what she's doing. My second appointment she applied balayage type highlights to where I was previously brassy and they look amazing. I'm so happy with the overall work. I'm trying to blend out my roots because I don't want such a harsh line, while still feeling light. She set me up for success here My hair and color have so much depth, I'm beyond thrilled! So as far as artistic talent- she's SO got it. But on top of that, she is SOOOO SWEET! I wear my hair in natural kinky/curly hair in braid/twist outs, fros, buns, and twists 99% of the time, but wanted to switch it up. Loretta was great! She gave my hair a much needed steam treatment and a dust. She showed me exactly what hair she was cutting and how much, to ease my worry of scissor happy stylist. They didn't have the color i had but they were able to make a custom color for me. The staff were so nice and polite explaining everything to me. First they detangled my hair and gave me hair tips as we went along. The braid parting and size was true to the photos i showed them as a example. While i sat i was served tea and made to feel comfortable they always asked how i was feeling or if i needed anything. They were so excited to do my color and braids and really love what they do.
