The Valentina suit was the best, with oceans views and all the comforts home. Our favorite place to stay.

What appears to be a nice looking great location to stay turns into a nightmare if the weather isn't cold and you want windows that open or to not hear the extremely loud 101 freeway all day and night. Not to mention half broken appliances. At this high price point AC should be a minimum but we would have settled for a circulation fan and windows that open in all the bedrooms.... Instead the second bedroom window was broken (the only window in the room so also a safety hazard) and one of the three windows opened half way in the master. The other large window was jammed to the point we felt it would break if we forced it open. In the living room another window didn't open and was broken on the quieter side of the complex. The door of the dishwasher was broken and fell on my husbands foot bruising it badly and the microwave vent is broken off. For this price, stay somewhere else, you'll be much more comfortable. Management has been rude and dismissive since they have already charged for the room. read more

We discovered Valentina Pismo Beach for our honeymoon and wow were we pleasantly surprised! This place is gorgeous and surprisingly reasonable which is hard to find in Pismo Beach! The building is beautiful and looks like it has been here forever, but in fact is fairly new. The rooms are luxuriously spacious, clean and well maintained, and not to mention very cozy with every amenity imaginable. We were really impressed! It is right in the heart of town. We liked the fact you can walk everywhere for dinner, drinks and shopping. One recommendation is Old West Cinnamon Rolls just down the street and their cinnamon rolls are to die for! We walked down to the Pismo Pier and checked out the downtown culture and cool shops! Parking is not only secure but also free with multiple EV chargers and that is rare. Oh yeah and there is a really cute nursery that is across the street called Pismo Garden Art. Valentina Suites has a very easy check-in/check-out process which also made for a hassle-free stay. Pismo has so much charm and Valentina is such a lovely place to stay to relax. read more

Central location in walking distance to about everything, about 2 1/2 blocks to Pismo Beach and pier. Secured parking garage. Secure clean facilities, keyless coded entry. Responsive management (exceptional). Self contained furnished everything you need. Excellent wifi, in unit router. Front load full size washer/dryer. Very well maintained, and very attractive outside decor. Noisy street. Check some household items for replacement, else we would rate it a 5. Very pleasurable experience. We stayed 90 days. We got our full deposit back quickly. read more

I had an excellent stay at Valentina Suites! The suite was fully furnished, had a comfortable bed, was very clean, and had everything I needed. I always felt safe and the secured covered parking was great. The owner and sons were very kind and responsive. Absolutely the nicest hotel in downtown Pismo Beach. Valentina Suites has it all, location, beauty ammenities, accessibility, spaciousness and a complete kitchen and bath. #301 has a broken pull out sofa bed. It is zip tied together with a plank on half. It caused sleepless nights and kinda ruined our vacation. The staff came and said yeah its broken and the help on the phone said prior guests said it was broken too. ....broken but they did not call to tell us that so there could have been injuries using this terrible contraption. $90 back does not help anything thanks. oh, and getting in touch with them after the visit was a joke. they really suck! The TV/cable system was garbage and the unit was on the main street entering the city so there was plenty of noise 24/7. bedroom windows did not even open. Other than that the place had new appliances and was clean. It was close to the beach and shops. read more

So, we were going back to Pismo, one of our favorite vacation spots. This time, we decided to do something different, and stayed at the Valentina Suites. Location is indeed great - next to the main drag, and two blocks from the pier. Place is super clean, and our suite was very spacious. Spa bathrooms, comfortable beds. Secured parking lot....all good..... However, there is a downside: As someone mentioned below, good luck trying to get ahold of someone to fix a problem. It sounds silly, but when we couldn't find the coffee filters for the coffeemaker, it took four texts, one unsuccessful call to the main office, and five to six hours to pass to have someone sympathetic call me back. She was very nice, and they left us the coffee filters, but it was frustrating that for all the money we were spending (it's not cheap!), something so simple was so hard to get. And the other side of downside: when they say there is a 10AM checkout, they are not kidding. Generally, you can call a front desk for a later checkout, but not here. What makes the early checkout worthy of note, however, was that the maids were hovering outside our door at 9:45! Getting a bum's rush, as the saying goes, does not encourage one to come back! Overall, it was a really comfortable suite, but the super-early checkout definitely affected our opinion of the establishment. Every nice hotel in the world has an 11am checkout, if not later, and it's generally easy to delay it an hour. Not this place! read more

Our family rented 3 units (202, 203 and 204) for my cousin's wedding weekend. These condos are beautifully furnished/decorated and are in a superb location. We walked to the beach/pier several times (one time we saw a pod of dolphins, several whales and some seals) and there are tons of restaurants nearby. I'm giving a 4* review rather than a 5* because with the bedroom doors closed, it gets so hot in the rooms that actual sleeping is almost impossible. We ended up having to open the window in order to get any sleep, which we could only do because my husband and I always have earplugs when we travel...the breezeway a can get pretty noisy in the mornings. If our room had a ceiling fan, this would have been a 5* review for sure. Note for the owner/management: one of the bedrooms in unit 203 has a lock on the top of it that needs to be released so that the door canclose properly. read more

Loved staying here! It is safe, beautiful, comfortable, and close to the beach. It felt like I was staying in a nice apartment with big bedrooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, a huge kitchen with all the necessities, a relaxing living room with a fireplace, and a lovely balcony that looked over the beach town. Parking under the building was easy (and there were street spots too), as was getting into the building. There were also bikes to use around town! I would come back here in a heartbeat! read more

I had such a beautiful time at the Valentina suites. Such a perfect place to stay while you're in town. The condo is clean and spacious. The patio was beautiful with an ocean view. We were short walk to the butterfly forest. I would 100% stay there again the next time I go back. The beds were also very comfortable and the showers looked like they had been newly remodeled. read more

We returned to the Valentina for yet another fabulous vacation. The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and artistically pleasing. The location was excellent as it was close to restaurants, the pier and the beach. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Highly disappointed. Booked room 202 with two other couples. 3 bedroom 1600 square feet. Really a beautiful space and building. Problem is that the "breezeway" in front of our place was so noisy that none of us were able to sleep. The style of building creates a corridor where the noise just echoes and amplifies everything occurring outside of your condo. Every time another guest would shut their door it would echo and wake us up as if the doors were being slammed. The situation was amplified by the other guests having a party two doors down and constant foot traffic and yelling by our bedroom both nights we stayed. Tried to contact management at 400 am but no one answered and I told the rental company in the morning and I was given a "we are sorry to hear about that." If you are in town to party stay here it will be perfect. If you are town to have a relaxing vacation go somewhere else, trust me. All of the excessive security cameras around property and this type of behavior can go on, unacceptable. read more

This is the first time we stayed here and are very pleased with it. The suites are large and had ample space for my family of six. The kids loved it. It is in a good location close to downtown and about 5 minutes walk to the beach. I felt like home away from home! I would definitely stay here again!!!!!! read more
