Amazing place to book your wedding venue! Every bit of the place is so picturesque. My husband and I's favorite area is the bridge. It's so romantic especially during sunset. There is 11 bedrooms in total I believe so it's great to have it be booked for a wedding so you and your guests can get ready at the venue. Lindsey is so nice and easy to talk to from beginning to end. She is so helpful and very accommodating. You won't regret booking this place!

An incredible venue for our event. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The owners are super helpful and kind and made planning a huge event so much easier. Ricardo was amazing and responsive. My guests had a wonderful time and stay. Thank you Lindsey for making such a beautiful venue available to us.

Mr & Mrs Santos Martinez Wedding, September 28, 2024

On September 28, 2024, my beautiful fiancé and I celebrated the most important day of our lives, our wedding day. The day started with excitement and anticipation with friends and family at the most amazing location in the Central Coast, Castle Noland. As our guest arrived they were greeted with beautiful red Bougainvillea's and purple morning glories throughout the Castle. We shared our vows on top of the hill surrounded by beautiful florals and a bridge over looking a freshwater creek. Our horse drawn carriage ride was amazing and our reception was held on the pristine manicure lawn. Our wedding day at Castle Noland was definitely a celebration to remember and cherish for many years to come. Thank you Lindsey Noland, for allowing us the opportunity to celebrate our wedding day at your beautiful Castle Noland. Mr & Mrs Santos and Shay Martinez, San Luis Obispo, Ca.

BED BUGS - DECEMBER 2021 - BE WARNED Staying at Chateau Noland (6445 Monte Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA) was a beautiful yet horrific experience for my party. After the first night, we spotted bed bugs. When the host, Dan Noland, stopped by, his reaction was "shit, we totally forgot to put the bug bags on the box spring! We had this place nuked on August 23rd." Come to find out, the Noland family has had multiple cases before ours - including a bed bug case in May of 2021 by one of their workers... Who lived on-site. Initially, Dan wanted to play off the bed bug situation: "Hotels deal with this all the time! They're just little bugs." When confronted by the entire group staying at the property, he agreed to either 1) refund our entire stay at the castle in full or 2) find us alternative accommodations. Instead, we received a text stating "I'd like you to stay", which we agreed to since we were already exposed, but requested an alternative room arrangement on the property. In following up with Dan and Sabrina Noland, they have not honored their agreement to refund us and have refused to give us our money back even through a formal Airbnb request. Futhermore, we know that guests are staying at the property after us per an exchange with the host when leaving. Even though there are confirmed bed bugs on the property! We also shared the bed bug news with Airbnb within 24 hours of the incident to abide by their Guest Refund Policy. Despite sharing pictures of bed bugs and the bites we have received, Airbnb has refused to refund us and is still allowing the listing to operate on their platform. Other problems included 1) the child in the group developed a cough and sniffles due to cold air since the window in the side room could not be closed (it was broken and open) and there was no space heater until the following morning when the host stopped by to see the bed bugs, 2) amenities including the grill outside were not working properly - there was no propane tank until the host brought one on the second day, 3) part of the party chose to fly home the second day due to the bed bug infestation, 4) most of our Saturday plans were canceled. This is a family business run by the children of the man who built Castle Noland. The "new management" referred to in other post responses is actually Dan Noland - the son of the man who built the property. I would not recommend you stay here.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND CASTLE NOLAND FOR A WEDDING VENUE!! My family and I are very disappointed in this venue and Chad is quite aware of the upcoming reviews. FILTHY, UNSANITARY CONDITIONS IN THE APARTMENTS! Dirt, grime, hairs, BLOOD stains on sheets and towels. DISGUSTING, STAINED SOFA BED AND ROLL AWAY BED! Couldn't use them since it was so bad! COLD SHOWERS THAT DONT DRAIN, CLOGGED SHOWER HEAD, NOT WORKING HOT WATER HEATER! Be prepared that for a wedding venue, there is NOT A FULL LENGTH MIRROR IN THE APARTMENTS. CLEANLINESS STANDARDS SET BY AirBnB are NOT BEING MET HERE!! We paid for a weekend wedding venue and were never told that PEOPLE LIVE UPSTAIRS!! Chad rudely sought out the mother of the bride near the END OF THE RECEPTION that was paid for until 10:00 pm. to tell her we needed to KEEP IT QUIET FOR THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE!!??!! We had 30 mins left to celebrate!! He already had his $$$$$. Uncool and highly unprofessional. There's more, but it's sad to have to relive the tears that were shed over a wedding venue. Chad refused to consider any refund on the apartments which is why the need for a poor review. Keep searching brides! Don't settle. You deserve better. ( I had to choose a one-star rating to post.)

Here's a picture of just one of the bugs we found. Sparing you from looking at the bites.

This is how the beds were "made."

This was the WORST experience I've ever had. Upon arriving at the Castle, we found that the apartments had not been cleaned, forcing us to sleep in dirty, stained sheets WITH BLOOD ON THEM, using towels with hair on them, surrounded by unsanitary furniture, bathing stations that would not drain, broken heater systems, trash, and much more (photos attached). Chad, the owner, was absolutely unprofessional and had the opportunity to rectify the situation before we left this review. In this current health climate, guest safety should be #1, and it's clear that Castle Noland only cares to receive money, not to give service. At this point, I'm considering him a THIEF of over $700 for two nights in the two apartments.

    Beautiful day for a wedding.

We originally booked a property through Airbnb and, a few days later, switched to a different property that was also managed by Seven Sisters. The change was confirmed approximately six weeks before our stay, and the reservation was fully paid. Less than 24 hours before our arrival, Seven Sisters informed us that the property was no longer available. We were given two options: receive a refund or stay at the original property we had booked before making the change. Seven Sisters acknowledged that the issue was their mistake, explaining that the property change had not synchronized with their internal property management system. Regardless of the cause, this was a confirmed and paid reservation that had been on the books for six weeks. Canceling it the day before our stay was unacceptable. If their systems are not communicating properly, that is an operational issue that should be addressed internally--not a problem that should be passed on to paying guests. We relied on their confirmation and planned our special family trip accordingly. At a minimum, they should have honored our reservation or made a meaningful effort to provide a more comparable solution. I rarely write negative reviews and generally try to be understanding when mistakes happen. What was most disappointing was not the error itself, but the response. There appeared to be minimal urgency or effort to make things right, which left us feeling that customer service took a back seat to business considerations. On a positive note, Airbnb was extremely responsive and worked quickly to help us find an alternative solution. Their support during an extremely stressful situation was greatly appreciated.

Avoid this HOA/property management if you value basic safety, communication, or accountability…read more The entry/exit gates are clearly unreliable and apparently capable of causing vehicle damage, yet management acts like every complaint is an inconvenience instead of a serious issue. After a gate-related accident damaged a car, multiple calls were made the same day with no response whatsoever. That set the tone for the entire experience. What followed was endless ignored messages, delays, excuses, and dismissive responses. Instead of taking concerns seriously, management seemed focused entirely on avoiding responsibility and shutting conversations down. The attitude throughout the process was cold, evasive, and unbelievably unprofessional. The fact that residents and visitors can report property-related damage and get stonewalled for months says everything people need to know about how this place is run. No transparency, no urgency, no accountability. Honestly, organizations that operate like this should not be managing residential communities. People deserve better than unsafe gates and management that disappears the moment there's a problem.

We had a very wonderful stay at one of their beautiful beach homes this past spring break. Everything was clean with the usual dull kitchen knives and only a few non working appliances. Here's the problem. I get an email a day later after checkout with a picture of a broken bathroom mirror stating her maintenance person found it. She said not to worry because I purchased damage insurance and she just needs a brief statement of what happened. I was absolutely floored as we are the most careful and responsible vacation home renters in the world. I mean I got different friends banking on my family and friends to stay at their own rentals all over the world to help pay for their rental mortgages. If something broke, we would have let them know right away, offered to pay for it and with a gift of sharp kitchen knives as a sorry. This is 2026 and these iPhones now have the greatest quality and I right away went to my "exit" video and photos. I always do an exit video at any stay for proof of locked doors and windows as well as quality of rental upon exit so everything is date stamped. The mirror wasn't broken on my video and the kicker was that there was a hand towel rack with a hand towel hanging on the wrong side of the mirror on their picture compared to mine with no hand towel. There was basically no evidence of a relocated hand towel rack either. Please be very weary and always take lots of "Exit" pictures and videos if you must stay at any of this insurance fraud creating company's homes.

I was called same day to collect a pet fee. I was under the impression it was all included in the numerous 500+ fees. I was never instructed to contact someone to pay ahead. When I got to the property a gate code was needed which was never provided, so I had to call to get. There's two different instructions for check out on in a book and one on the wall. Each had something different. When I arrived to the office there were three females at desk all on the phone and all held up a finger to me to wait a moment. I did, as I heard them banter about a broken garage door. Once that was over I was told I needed to fill out paperwork before getting keys. Overall it was a good stay but I don't know if I'd stay in a home hosted by this service.

Trinity went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, answered questions thoughtfully, and made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. It's rare to encounter someone who so naturally elevates the guest experience simply through professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Trinity is exactly the kind of team member who creates loyal returning guests, and I sincerely hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Employees like her are a big part of why places like Spyglass stand out. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the Pismo Beach area. The rooms seemed a little... dirty. I was itchy when laying on the bed, it bothered me and I couldn't get a good night's rest. I saw some small bugs in the room, not a big deal and maybe because we were so close to the ocean, but it did make the room seem unsanitary. There's a small lobby with complimentary tea and coffee. Upon checking in we got a goodie bag for our fur baby, which was a nice gesture. We loved the close beach access, literally just a couple min walk from our room. Overall, not a bad stay if it costs less than $200 a night, otherwise I would slip on this hotel.
