    Carnitas tacos and chips
    Jill S.

For me, the food has been consistently good! Today I tried a Shredded Beef Tostado and my guy had a Carne Asada Burrito. We both enjoyed our food. My guy felt his burrito was almost too much meat! Next time he'll try a mixed burrito and get a little beans with it.

I will be going back First time trying, ordered the crispy potato taco, chili rellano, and cali taco soft with flour, elote and small drink for about $18, great price! Forgot to order sour cream but asked for side and it was no issue, I truly appreciated this. I love the salsa bar with add option of pickled veggies ( carrots, jalapeño, and onion). 4 salsas 2 green and 2 red. The crispy potato was good but I would have preferred not as thick of a potato. The chili rellano was a miss for me. With all the salsa and sauce on top it took away from the chili's. I rather have them crispy and topped with melted cheese that gets bubbly, then have the toppings on the side to eat it with. The cali taco was tasty due to the sauce on it but the carne asada could have been a bit more juicy. The elote was very good and not salty. I will go back and try some more things and make some modifications if needed.

The food was so good, and the service was fast and genuinely attentive. The vibe was adorable too -- they even have a trendy wall that's perfect for pics. Honestly, forget Whataburger after a night out... this is my new spot. The way this reminds me of ending nights with tacos in Mexico? Yeah. We officially have a little piece of Mexico in Frisco, Texas, babe.

    Carne Asada Burrito & Salsas

I have driving by Valerie's for months; I typically come down Legacy before getting on Panther Creek and then up the DNT. Today I had an appointment in Frisco and chose to pick up a burrito for lunch. I didn't try a variety of items but I can safely give this spot a 5 star thumbs up. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito; and pack three sauces; the verde, roja and creamy mayo-chipotle & I got a horchata drink as well. $14.67 all in and I left to eat it at home. Burrito is probably slightly smaller and lighter than a chipotle burrito and I was hoping it tasted better. I sliced it in half and then got to work!!!! Yooooo; this Burrito is good!!!! The salsa and guacamole was fresh; the steak was perfectly seasoned with plenty of meat in each bite!!! the salsas only made it better; with plenty of heat and flavor from each bite. It's is very filling and I had not eaten breakfast; and I will probably have a very light dinner. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, served quickly, and not overpriced. The horchata was good too, albeit a little too dilute for my liking.

Frisco's best kept secret. Open 24 hours!. Pollo Asado** burr

I ordered the Pollo Asado burrito with a side of rice. The rice is really good. It is seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The chicken burrito not so much. The chicken inside was ice cold, way colder than the sauces and veggies put inside of it. I'm not sure if it's raw, frozen chicken, or if they just cook and freeze the chicken and reheat it when it's ordered. I genuinely cannot tell by looking at it, but I guess I will find out soon since I ate about a fourth of it before realizing. The guacamole and salsas are good though, so I guess that's a plus. Overall, the chicken ruined the entire meal.

Good food and pretty darn close to CA Mexican food!! Disappointed the grande carnitas burrito didn't have rice & beans but it came with a lot of tasty carnitas! Fresh, hot chips are nice but not free. We will definitely go back. Small inside but also has a drive thru which is a great idea. Bathrooms are clean. Service is very fast.

First time going, immediate new favorite spot! So delicious, ingredients from scratch the right way! Salsa's were hot too!! The way it's supposed to be! True NON-TEXMEX option. We had a carne asada torta (so delicious just like I remember from home around New Mexico), California burrito was huge my wife saved half for later, kids bean burrito was also huge!! Still working on it also got horchata and pineapple juice, all made from scratch the right way!! The owner Steve is a great guy! Have got to know him more through our church. His wife pride themselves on putting the money in the quality of the food to do it right, and let the bellies talk to spread the word. Multiple locations around DFW. Definitely a repeat customers and taking all our friends and family that visit!

    Drive Thru Menu

The tacos were stuffed !! They were delicious and served hot. I went through the drive thru and the gentleman was patient and kind as I looked at the menu. I didn't go in but from looking into the window at the drive thru people seemed pleased and the restaurant appeared to be clean. Good food and fast service. !

    Rolled chicken taco AKA taquitos
    Julie K.

Nice break from Tex- Mex! Yelp says business is closed- it was Open on Sunday. Clean inside with salsa bar on side with pickled carrots, bit spicy but Yum! Had rolled shredded chicken - AKA taquitos, it was crunchy, lots of guac and shredded cheese the chicken was only filled less than half inside, some places the chicken was over fried, it was good more tortilla, than meat. (3/5) Carne Asada chimichanga was Huuge, flour tortilla was nicely flakey and crispy. Filled with refried beans, well seasoned steak, shredded cheese and guac on top can get sour cream on top, pico de gallo and lettuce on side. (5/5) This was a reminiscent of Mexican food in San Diego/ California for sure!! Give it a try!

Sign says open, Yelp says 24/7 but store shut down the grill before 10PM.

I have to say that the tacos I bought here did not taste good at all. Even Taco Bell tacos are better. My quest for tasty tacos continues.

The photos make it look very lively and fun so imagine our surprise at happy hour on a Friday walking into an entirely empty restaurant! Two couples inside and a couple guys drinking on the patio. We still decided to stay because we were hungry and the place itself is super duper nice and cute! We opted to sit at the bar where we were kindly greeted and two TVs playing football with no volume (which I love)! The barstools were very comfortable as well. Ordered two of the BEST margaritas I've ever had with the gran marnier! I now want all my margs made this way. No need for a second! For food, the enchilada verde and the taco lunch plates were pretty dang good. No complaints there and the servings were reasonable and not too much from the lunch menu. No leftovers. Really enjoyed the verde. Chips and salsa were something to write home about! Amazingly toasted and crunchy, I should have asked for a bag to go with just those chips! Very good! All in all, the staff was too kind and it happened to be my friend's birthday so I "snuck away to the restroom" and told our waiter and he surprised us with a perfect tres leches slice that was absolutely delicious! For lunch and margs I spent $65 and he treated us with that dessert and I felt like that was so sweet! Thank you team at Lalo! You guys were great and I now actually like that the restaurant was slower at the time but I do hope they pick up because it was a great place for us! Enjoyed very much and if we are ever back in the area we will stop through.

We came in on a Saturday around 3 PM and were seated immediately. Our server, Truman, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us amazing service throughout the entire meal. We started with the guacamole, which was a generous portion and really good. I also loved their homemade salsa and chips. My wife ordered the three enchilada combo, and I had the brisket tacos both were delicious! My kids really enjoyed their quesadillas as well. We finished with the apple pie. It's a nice presentation served on a skillet with ice cream, and it was AMAZING. Definitely a must-get! What really stood out was the service. As we were leaving, my kids wanted to ride the cows, and another waitress named Carolina gave them quarters. She told us she always brings some in case kids want to ride them. Such a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture, and a great example of genuine hospitality. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back soon. Next time, we're trying the fajitas and chicken verde!
