I love this little outdoor market! I have been coming here for 20+ years, and although I don't live super close by now, whenever I'm in the area, I always stop by. Their produce is always fresh, they have some local dairy and other items, such as hummus. This place just cannot be beat within the Puyallup/Sumner area... I suspect even all of Tacoma and Pierce County. It's easy, unfortunately to cruse right on by as you fly down River Road, but trust me you need to stop and give it a walk through. My wife is a VERY price/quality based shopper and this is where we get all our produce and have done so far many years. The owner and her staff are very gracious and they even have a restroom. What's up with that. Super fresh and almost always very local selections. So rather than wait for your weekly local farmers market; this place is a great option and open all year. Hint... As you leave, pull out fast and keep the pedal to the metal. The River Road drivers have places to go! read more

Valley Farms has been a great source of fruit and veggies for the family since we moved to the area, especially the berries, melon, nectarines and peaches, sweet corn. This is the type of place that gets in a bunch of something good and puts it on sale cheap so I'm always prepared to buy whatever they have that looks good. I wish they had more organic choices, I'd love to be finding o.g. kale and chard here, but although its not organic its often local, so that's worth a lot in my book. read more

My first time stopping by and I was impressed with all the prices on some great produce. On this shopping trip i managed to get some baby haas avocados (10 for a buck, but I only needed about 5 of them) and baby naval oranges for the same price! I also managed to get some organic baby greens for salad, paid only $1.99. Can't even get these prices at the grocery store! I would love to come back and see what else they have there! Outside of going to Farmers Markets in the summer, this is my 'go-to' place for fresh fruits which often support the regional farms. I'm down for supporting as local as possible. I like the prices. Not everything is labeled organic, but they do have some. I know some of the farms the fruits and veggies come from often don't use dangerous pesticides, but if you know about clean and dirty differences, then I have no doubt you will make the right choices. While out visiting pumpkin farms - we stopped in and were impressed. Based on what they have - I don't think all of it is local but the produce looked fresh and clean. I always wish they would label what is locally grown and what they have shipped in - just so we know. The prices were reasonable and the help was courteous and friendly. I love this stand! Prices are very reasonable. All their produce looks top notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly! I am a little sad their hours do not coordinate with my commute home, but when I do get a chance to stop... I will. I love going here! They have great fresh local produce. Whenever I have to grocery shop I get everything that I can here(which is most of my list) and then go to a big box store for my final frozen things or what not. It saves me money and I get better produce. I also like the people who work there. They are friendly and always willing to help you. I really appreciated one day when a man started smoking right outside of the building that the girl let him know he had to be 15 feet away. That's not easy to say to someone and she did it kindly. The man threw a fit but she handled herself well. I really appreciate her for doing that. read more

One of my favorite farmer's market because they have fresh produce and great range to choose from. Everything is affordable and organic. The employees are friendly and it's really close by. The one thing I don't like is the location because River Road has fast cars so it's a little tricky to turn into here. But other than that, Valley Farm's great place to buy fresh produce! read more

This is by far my favorite produce stand. You can get fresh, local full of flavor fruits and veggies anytime of the year. I love the hospitality and customer service. All of the employees are always happy and very helpful. While getting our Christmas tree here on Saturday they offered free hot chocolate or apple cider to all customers to help stay warm. I love this place and I will continue to spred the word about this place because it seriously is the absolute best! read more

Man I love this place. Prices are so reasonable and I think cheaper than supermarkets. Produce is definitely fresher too :) The staff is so friendly and helpful! They make great conversation and are super chill. They have a great selection of produce as well as other products such as salad dressings and honey that is all local. There is meat and fish and beer in the coolers in the back as well :) They have a bunch of flowers and herbs too that always look great! I love this place. I'm all about helping out local businesses. The lady that runs the place is very sweet as well as her staff. The prices on the fruits and veggies are great. If there is ever a problem with something you buy they make sure to give you the best customer service possible. Julie gives my kids bananas or apples when we are shopping, she takes care of us like family. The shop is clean and well taken care of. It does sit next to a busy road but that's never been a issues for us. We have been shopping here for 5 years now and recommend it to our friends and family. My kids and I love making the trip to this produce market for our weekly fruits and veggies. Most prices are lower than regular grocery stores, and most of the produce seems very fresh. And it is fun to see what new and different things they have to try each time we come.
