I purchased an EGR electric RollTrac tonneau cover for my Jeep Gladiator and needed a professional installer, as the work was beyond my skill level. I visited the EGR website and saw that Valley Truck & Van was listed as a registered installer. I called, explained what I needed, and was given a quote over the phone. I then dropped off my truck along with the tonneau cover. As it turned out, the job was much more involved and took significantly longer than originally estimated. With Valley Truck & Van's labor rate at $150 per hour, I was expecting a very large bill when I went to pick up my truck. To my pleasant surprise, they honored the original quoted price despite the additional time required. Kathy at the front desk was amazing--kind, patient, and professional. She kept me informed throughout the process and communicated clearly with the service team. Jeff and Jesse were also great to work with and did an excellent job on the installation. Poor quality work. I didn't want to have to leave a bad review but as time goes on I notice more and more little things that show sloppy work. When the truck was first sprayed, there were lots of blobs left behind (5-6 spots) and some over spray which, when the technician tried to remove, left the paint chipped. I went back to have to blobs fixed, which they did, but now there are respray lines on the bed and more over spray on the paint. They also managed to leave a clear/white residue on the sides of the bed likely from some residue on the technician that transfered from leaning over into the bed afterwards. The residue had to be chemically removed and the etched clear coat buffed. I get that it's just a truck bed but it's a bed in a $50k truck and for a $650 premium application I would expect more attention to detail and better workmanship. read more

This particular day 1/29/19 we encountered a lovey lightning storm and torrential downpours. As I enjoyed a cup of coffee and the stormy sounds, installation was quick, neat and expertly handled. I also got a quick peek into the shop where they manufacture some incredible protective, hard shell boxes for tools and more. They also offer a wide variety of running boards / steps. When I make my mind up, I will return for a purchase and install . My truck already had the Line-x spray on liner at the time of purchase. Made an appointment to have my truck bed sprayed. I was told it will take 2.5 to 3 hrs. I said ok. The appointment was at 9:00am the following day. So, I came in at 8:45am filled out the paperwork and left my truck. I came bat at 11:55am to pick up my truck. I was so disappointed, my truck wast not touched at all! All I got from Kathy is "sorry" So I took my truck to the Santa Clarita shop and they were outstanding. Did my truck in 1 hr and 15 minutes while I waited and the were $58.00 less expensive then Sun Valley. They did an amazing job! read more

I feel cheated. Kathy quoted me $250 to Linex my metal bumper and she said $25 for primer. so the total i was supposed to pay was $275. when i was picking up my bumper, she charged me $365 and she had no explanation for the extra charges. I paid anyways and picked up my bumper. But i will never go back even though i have tone of other projects for my car. The work itself looks good enough. Well I'm looking for a truck cover for one of my trucks and I realized that I have never left feedback when I got my truck line X spray-on bedliner. Well it's been more than three years and it's a beautiful job and very professionally done. Only thing that I would do differently is get it with the UV protection so it doesn't fade in the sun but if you're going to put a cover over it that would keep it from lightning up. I went back and had a Bak bed cover put on , that was more than two years ago and perfect no problems. If they don't have it in they get it in a day you stop by go have some lunch and it's finished when you get back. Just getting ready to call over there to see if they have a truck cover to cover one of my vintage trucks or maybe they will know where to guide me to get one. Kathy was able to answer all my questions and allowed me to make informed decisions regarding which liners and which running boards would look good, be good, and be within the price range I was comfortable with without trying to upsell anything.
