I needed someone to install a trailer hitch on my new electric car so I could get my bike rack on it. Shopped around online and found this place with tons and tons of experience mounting hitches. Drove over there and they were delightful. they drove me to a Starbucks nearby so I could wait comfortably while they put my hitch on and there happen to be a Manny Petty place next-door so I got a pedicure while I was waiting. They pick me up about 45 minutes to an hour later, and Phil, the guy at the front desk, had printed out all sorts of information for me about the hitch and the alarm when my bike rack was on there for backing up. Not only were they so customer oriented, but their price was better than any place else around. Highly recommend this place.!!! read more

Installed Firestone suspension air bags- apart from the overpriced service, the bolts broke off after 6 months. This is literally what it looks like after I removed the tire. Can't trust them to remove or fix the air bags, so I'm doing it myself- 2015 F15. Definitely can't recommend. read more

Called to get a quote for an install I needed done, using a companies authorized installers. Got a quote and worked out a date. Smooth. No hassle at all. I called 3 other outfits before my install to price shop (I was always taught to get 3-4 quotes), it seemed the more reviews each place had the higher and higher their prices were. Comical at best for the last quote. Stuck with my initial gut and went with Valley. Couldn't be happier. Stand up guys, polite and fun to talk with. I have worked with Eric for many years storing my RV and have him work on my vehicles. One day I walk into Eric's shop. Tell him what I am experiencing with my Suburban and I need to get it fixed. He said that he thinks it is front end suspension damage and would cost around $400.00. I said alright, go with it. I got a call from Valley Truck saying that my truck was done. I have been coming to Eric for awhile now. He has worked on my K2500 suburban, my civic and my 72' k5. Well today he worked on my integra. I had him install a hitch for my car so I can pull my seadoo. We ran into some minor problems with the hitch itself (manufacturing defect) but Eric was able to fix it and get it on perfectly. I went in to get my tires that I got for the Ford Ranger rotated. Eric wasn't there, but when it was done, the nice lady with the long hair asked me whether I bought the tires there, I said yes, and she said no charge. I knew that, and I know other places offer that, too, the free rotation, after purchase, but they check if you indeed got the tires there; she didn't. I appreciate that, but they could've checked and found out that I did buy them there. Anyway, good service as usual, and the mechanic, who has been with them over twenty years, she said, looks more like an accountant or professor, clean cut, with glasses. This is the first time I have come to Valley Truck. I had them install new air bags (air lifts) under my Tacoma truck. I spent half a day calling all over town trying to find a local place that knew how to install them. Valley Truck was the only place I called that said they would install them. It turned out that my truck needed and unusually small size that they had to special order. The got them over night and expedited the installation as I was waiting there. They are VERY down to earth friendly helpful people and have wonderful customer service. As a woman I appreciate that in dealing with any auto repair service. I would not hesitate to recommend them. NOTE: Their actual address is NOT as stated above on YELP. It is 20630 John Drive, Castro Valley (less than 1/4 mile from the address listed for them on yelp). I have taken several projects to Valley and have received great service and results. And always at a fair price. Valley setup my Ford truck for 5th wheel towing including hitch install, shocks, and air bags. Later I went back and they transferred and setup the hitch in my Chevy. Eric and the entire staff have been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and especialy patient with all my projects. I rented a flat bed car trailer, they had an employee hook it up to my truck and then when we loaded the car the trailer came unhook due to being poorly hooked up!!! It damaged my tail gate and bumper!!!!! When I returned the trailer I made them aware of the problem instead of apologizing they basically blamed me!!! Terrible customer service!!!
