He also refuses to acknowledge that the morning of treatment when I said I would not do the procedure unless my insurance company pays for it, they asked if I wanted them to call the insurance company that morning, which of course I said yes. That call never happened but, but they did lead me to believe it had, and all was set.

I asked to change my care Plan, because of finances, and they said they would as long as I understand the risks. I said I did. Best dentist I have ever seen in a long time. One that didn't make me feel judged. One that helped me with what I could afford. I still have more treatment needed. But they are a literal gem, as far as I'm concerned. Wish I had gone to them sooner. My teeth probably wouldn't be as bad as they are, if I had saw them in the first place. At this point, I wish it was a 10 star review because they were wonderful. Around 8:00pm, days before the procedure the dentist herself called to inform me the nice office lady had made an error and that the $700 was for 1 crown instead of 2. I called insurance and they verified that their approval was for 2 crowns. Seems the dentist lied to me and threw her employee under the bus. Ultimately she refused to perform the work at the approved rate even though she had signed a contract with my insurance company. This was the 2nd procedure where the cost I was given ended up costing double. Very shoddy work from this office. Be careful... Dentist is not trustworthy.

I was extremely nervous going in, but Dr. George and the entire staff were fantastic at explaining what was going to happen, walking me through my options, and helping me feel calm and informed throughout the process. The treatment itself ended up requiring three visits instead of the two originally expected. The area involved was larger than anticipated and needed extra time to dry properly before being fully sealed. I also had to return once more to adjust some remaining cement that was affecting my bite. While the additional visits were inconvenient, everything was handled carefully and thoroughly, and I appreciated the attention to getting it right. Because I had such a positive experience with Dr. George, I chose to also meet with the periodontist associated with the same practice, Dr. Yang. Unfortunately, that consultation did not go well for me. The recommendations were delivered very abruptly, and I ultimately chose to seek a second opinion elsewhere. I will be working with a different periodontist for that portion of my care. That said, I would absolutely recommend Salmon Creek Endodontics for endodontic work. Dr. George is skilled, patient, and compassionate, and his staff made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier to get through.

Desperate, I called my dentist, and I was surprised that they provided a cell number for Dr. Jensen in case of emergencies. He picked up the call immediately, and after hearing the symptoms, said he could be at the office and to bring her in. How grateful we were, that Dr. Jensen was able to take care of my my mother, fixed her up, and made her feel welcome and relaxed. When no one else would see her, and she wasn't even a patient of his, Dr. Jensen went beyond to help. Including a follow-up call after hours! Called for an initial appointment and they got us in within two weeks. When we arrived they took my son back in 5 minutes and within 20 minutes he was done! What?! We went to the receptionist to make his cleaning appointment and she said they had a cancellation and if we wanted to wait she could get my son in next (again, WHAT?!) We waited about 30 minutes (well worth not having to come back another day) and my son got his cleaning. My son is 32 with Autism and he is very nervous at the dentist and he can be VERY talkative, the hygienist was so sweet and patient with him and made him feel very comfortable. I'm VERY impressed and so glad I didn't make our decision based on the negative reviews I read on Yelp. I did deduct one star cause the waiting room was pretty run down and could use a good vacuuming. Highly recommend!

Sure enough, it happened the third time, so after the insurance company had been reimbursed, I went to Camas Dentistry. The dentist there explained that I needed a "tooth lengthening" to make a crown work on that tooth. He then did the procedure, and I had a great result. Kudos to Camas Dentistry!

I simply wanted the chip of tooth removed as it was loose and made it difficult to chew. My intent was to schedule an appointment to have a crown seated at soon (but later) date. They took x-rays relating the tooth in question and two other teeth, both of which had had implants done years earlier. When Dr. Woyciehowsky came in, it was immediately apparent that he was in a hurry. There was the minimal of verbal pleasantries, then a glance at my tooth, and the news that the tooth had chipped and was still attached to gum tissue. He told me that I would need to make an appointment for next steps as it was late in the day. I kindly reminded him that I had a 45 minute appointment and he said "It's late in the day; I can't keep the staff here". I repeated that the only reason I had come in was to have that bone chip tended to. He begrudgingly said he would take care of it. He was so rushed that it was unnerving. He was speaking quickly and his tone and maner were flip and glib. With concern about his overall demeanor, I ask about being numbed; there was nothing gentle about his touch. He said there wasn't time, and that by the time the lidocaine was administered, he would've already been able to remove the tooth chip. I asked him if he wouldn't mind putting some numbing gel on my gums. He said that numbing gel wouldn't make a difference. I worked in oral surgery for three years. Numbing gel (aka: Lidocaine and prilocaine periodontal gel) deadens the nerve endings in your gums. It takes literally seconds to work and would have provided his new patient with comfort. He declined my request. Dr. Woyciehowsky told me I would only feel some thing similar to the pinch you feel when you receive an injection in your gums. It took him a few turns/tugs to get the tooth chip detached from my gums. It was not painful, but it was uncomfortable, and it was a bit scary as I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. No one offered anything for the bleeding; and when I asked, they gave me a Kleenex. I asked for gauze as it was bleeding, quite a bit. When I initially scheduled with his practice, I had explained that I was looking for a new long-term dentist and that I wanted someone who was kind and compassionate. Dr. Woyciehowsky demonstarted neither of those traits. The 15 minutes he gave of his time left me both disappointed and at ground zero with regard to now having to find a new dentist. I am a friendly, positive and happy person. I treat people with dignity and respect, always try my best to do the right thing, and have simple, basic expectations of others. I rarely let things bother me, but found myself getting home (a 2-minute drive) still surprised by the outcome of my visit to Camas Dentistry, and writing a negative review.
