Ive never did long term parking before having come from NYC so I was very nervous. I reviewed many places on Yelp and decided to go with Value based on reviews. They were great, and inexpensive. The shuttle was there when I arrived and took me right over to the terminal even though it was just me. Upon return I called for the shuttle and they told me 5mins, it was probably 7-9mins but from my first call until I was in my car was under 20mins. My car was pulled out and waiting for me when I arrived. The checkout process was just as quick. Great service hopefully they stay this way, I plan to use them in the future as well. read more

This place deserves 7 stars for their price, efficiency, professionalism and friendliness. We arrived at 5:30 AM at this place last Thursday. Our bags were quickly unloaded from the car. By the time I came out of the office to drop my key and pick up the claim tag, our bags were loaded in the shuttle and in less than 3 minutes (by the time we arrived at the place) we were on our way to the airport. On return, our flight arrived @ 12:30 AM (not PM). I called them as we were getting off the plane, by the time (10 minutes) we got to the waiting point the shuttle was already there. When we arrived at the place our car was already in the front, once again our bags were quickly loaded in our car, made payment. We were on our way home again in less than 3 minutes. These guys were prompt and had my car ready and waiting (with the back door of the SUV open and ready to receive our 4 pieces of luggage) when we arrived back from our vacation. I have recently parked with another airport parking place and had an awful experience to say the least. I decided to try these guys out this past week and was very pleasantly surprised at the service. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. They took our bags out of the vehicle for us and put them in the shuttle. The office was clean and organized. The drivers were knowledgeable and prompt. Actually, our drop off driver decided to drop us at another location near our gate because he noticed there was a long line of traffic to get to the normal drop off area. He then gave us clear directions to get back up to where we needed to go. The pick up was smooth as can be and with very clear instructions. My vehicle was waiting for me when we arrived back and the check out process took maybe 30 seconds. The indoor attendant actually gave me a tip to book directly with them to save money next time. I will absolutely be using Value Parking again when traveling from Newark. read more

Drop off and drive to Newark Airport was perfect. However. upon our return, our flight was delayed. Although Value Parking offered a two-hour "grace period", we missed that window by twenty minutes. For circumstances beyond our control, we were charged for additional 24 hours. After speaking with the owner, he informed us that he works hard for the $8.95, and the computer had already committed to the added charge. As he sat in his office, with two counter people doing nothing, I asked for "good will", and was told that there was nothing he could do. Certainly breaking down the 24-hour charge into quarters would have allowed a fee to be collected for the twenty minutes, but not charging the entire $8.95. I will never use this outfit again nor will I recommend this business to anyone. read more

I've had good experiences with Value Parking, but the most recent one cost them my business forever. It started with the shuttle driver picking me up at the airport, who was unbelievably rude. Most of their drivers are friendly and make pleasant conversation. Not this guy. He never said a word to me or even looked at me. No response to my hello or my thank you. Needless to say I didn't tip him. Then when I went in to claim my SUV, I was told that the driver's side running board had "fallen off". I knew going in that the running board was loose, and it was obvious to anyone looking at it that it was loose. I wasn't even looking to hold them accountable for any damage. I just wanted them to stop insulting my intelligence and admit that someone had stepped on the running board and that it had not just fallen off. The attendant finally stated that this is what happened, saying "we have short drivers" (interesting, though, that his "short drivers" had moved my driver's seat all the way back.). Then he asked me if I had notified anyone about the running board, and I told him that I hadn't because the condition was obvious to anyone looking at it. He then stated that because I hadn't notified anybody, it was my problem. He then glared at me as though he was expecting to have a fight with me. All I wanted him to do was be a man about it and tell me truthfully what had happened. I will give them credit, however, because they did remove the running board from under my truck so that I could drive it. But then they put it in the back of my truck and told me to "look for a dumpster on the way home to put it in." I don't blame them for what happened to my truck, but I absolutely blame them for their lack of respect and professionalism, and that is why I will take my business elsewhere on future trips. read more

I read many reviews before choosing Value. Normally I park in the deck at Newark, but this time I decided to try a valet parking lot instead to save some money. They had some great reviews and are one of the most competitively priced, so I took a chance. They turned out to be fantastic. They were very personable, yet professional. They dropped me off and picked me up from the terminal within minutes. When I got back to the lot my car was waiting for me out front so I could hop in and drive away after a long day of travel. Great Price and easy online booking. Dropped my car off for my trip on Thursday and was on their shuttle headed towards my terminal within 5 minutes. The driver helps you get your bag on and off the shuttle as well. Landed yesterday exhausted and delirious. Called for them to pick me up via their instructions and for assistance in finding the pickup location (its pretty well explained on the card they give you, but I was completely out of it yesterday). The person I reached on the phone was totally understanding of my dilemma, patient, and friendly, and most importantly had me to the right location within a few minutes. He informed me the shuttle would be there within 5 minutes or so and it arrived on schedule. I returned to find my car waiting for me and they loaded my suitcase into my car while I was finishing up and paying. I don't travel that often, but every time I do I will be sure to use Value Parking. read more

This would be a 5 star review but didn't like the pickup area where they drop your car off. I ordered the service so i didnt have to take the shuttle back to value parking. They make you go lug your bags up to level 2 ticketing and sky cap area. They should just drop your car off right outside the doors of baggage claim. Value Parking worked out very well for us! When we dropped our car off very early they were ready for us and got us to the airport within 15 minutes. Upon our return we were picked up within the same time frame as drop-off. My only complaint was that the pickup place was not very clear. However, once we watched the other car pickups we realized where we needed to be. The price was very good compared to other places. We would definitely use Value Parking again! read more

This was my first experience with them. I parked here for 8 days which included the big snowstorm 2 days before was scheduled to pick up my car. They picked my wife and I up at Newark airport within 10 minutes of my call and my car was wiped clean of snow and was warm, running and waiting when the van dropped us off. Friendly service. We have used Value Parking in the past and had good experiences. On Sept. 9, 2018 we were flying to Miami 7:30 flight. We clearly told the driver the airline (Jet Blue) but he dropped us off at the United terminal. It took us an additional 25 minutes on the monorail to get back to the correct terminal. I called the Value office and told them what happened and the person sad he was sorry. I said OK but how about some kind of a discount for our trouble. He promised to talk to the owner about it . Upon return I explained to the man at the desk and he told me that he couldn't help us at that time. I called back the next day and asked for a manager who told me that we probably told the driver the wrong airline, so he could not help. Our expectations were small (like one day off the bill) but we got nothing. I know people make mistakes and they had a chance to make it right but chose not to. I will not use Value again for that reason. read more

I got into my car late at night and didnt think to check my car because I have booked here multiple times before. This morning I wake up and see a big scratch on the car and I realize that someone stole my phone charger from my car. I call Value and speak to a supervisor ( Matt) who basically tells me that its my fault for not checking the vehicle before I left (despite the fact that I was a woman alone in Newark at 2AM) and that they are not responsible for anything. I don't even care that they say that they are not responsible...I get that and I didn't expect that they could do anything. But the supervisor was so unsymphathetic, accusatory, and frankly rude about it that I felt compelled to give them a review. Even the day I dropped off my car, the person working the desk was super rude to another customer but I bit my tongue. The only people who are decent at this company are the drivers...they are nice, helpful and useful. Maybe those managing can learn something from their employees. Anyways, be careful if you use this company and take pictures of your care and do not leave even a blanket out since apparently that is fair game. read more

I booked online and brought the confirmation form with me when we went to the airport. They did not need the form as it was in their system. A driver was waiting for us and took us right to the airport. On the way back we had to wait about 20 minutes for a driver to pick us up. While waiting I saw numerous other parking companies drive by, but did not worry about it. I knew, from when we dropped off, this was a small company as compared to the other, larger national companies. Our van was waiting for us when we came back. Every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. My family will be using the service again. I would have given 5 stars if we did not have to wait 20 minutes. 10 minute wait would have given 5 stars. read more

Went way better than expected, which is why I'm bothering to write a review. Car was fine after the trip, rides were fast, price was ok, people were on point. One thing to note is when I got off the shuttle they had my car waiting for me with the trunk open to make it easy to put my luggage in, which is nice I guess, but if I had had anything valuable or personal stored in the back it might have been troubling. But it didn't matter to me and I would fully recommend this place for your EWR parking needs. read more

This used to be an awesome place to park, but service has gone down tremendously. They are so much slower and ruder. Definitely do not park here if you want to leave with your car the way you dropped it off. Three of my colleagues and I all had our cars parked here for a business trip. All 4 cars had damages to them. Unfortunately when you get off a long plane ride and in the middle of the night, it is easy to forget to THOROUGHLY INSPECT YOUR CAR. please if your dumb enough to leave your car at this location, do not leave without inspecting your car, taking a picture of your mileage and gas, and noting nothing is missing that was in your car. read more

After using this company for several years I'm sad to say we will no longer be giving them or business or recommending them to our friends. On our return to Newark we called for pick-up, provided our claim number and approximately 10 minutes later the shuttle arrived. The pick-up area was very busy and was we navigated through the crowd with our 5 bags we watched as the driver pulled up, accepted one passenger, slammed the door closed and then sped away from the curb like he was a get away driver at a bank robbery. We tried to flag him down but he didn't see us. All the other drivers from the other lots exited their vehicles and made sure they were picking up all the people they were supposed to. When I called the dispatcher to report what happened all he said was another driver would be there in 10 minutes. No apologies, no sorry we will get someone there ASAP. I told him it was BS and to get someone there faster. When we finally arrived back at the lot the dispatcher never apologized but instead gave me attitude about how I spoke to him on the phone. He also said that we don't have to use his service in the future. Pretty funny considering there are 10 other lots all offering similar pricing and from what I saw shuttle drivers who did not strand their passengers. In total it took over 30 minutes to get back to the lot. read more

We don't fly out of EWR often so we were going in blind. It was a last-minute trip and we didn't prepare as we should. When we arrived at Value Parking I realized I had left the full contents of a brand new designed bag in my car. I only take a small one on vacation. there was also an uncharged Fitbit in it. So I took the risk. We went on our vacation for a week and returned. When we returned @ 1am into the airport, we were PROMPTLY met by a gracious, hustling driver. On the way back from EWR I asked if there's any way they could warm our car up for us as we were coming from the islands and it was pretty chilly. He said, "oh yeah that's already happening." Upon returning to our vehicle it was indeed warm and the full contents of my bag were still exactly where I left them. Everyone at Value Parking is friendly, they Hustle and aim to please. parked at value over memorial day weekend. service to and from airport excellent. vans could use new seating. (felt like sitting on raw metal. and me car, we arrived back at midnight and rushed home. they must have parked my car under a tree of nesting swallows, poop all over. they also put a paint split and cracked paint on bumper. did not notice at midnight. they refused to compensate, even though i was only looking for a refund of my payment! will never use again. read more

I used this service from August 15, 2014 to August 20, 2014. The entire process went smooth. I made my reservations online and paid a down payment of $10.00. On the day of my departure, I arrived at Value Parking at 5:00 A.M. in the morning and checked in with ease. The staff members were very courteous and professional. After checking in, I was giving verbal and written instructions of what I should do upon arrival and after I received my bags. I was told to text a code to a certain number and to wait at a particular location for pick up. My bags were placed in a Value Parking van and I was transported to my airport departure terminal within 5 minutes. Upon arrival, my flight was delayed and arrived about 11:30 P.M. After I retrieved my bags, I text the code to the number that was provided to me. I had difficulty finding the pick up location because I was not aware that the airport had a ground floor. I called Value Parking and was directed verbally by a staff member to the exact location, which I easily found with the assistance. The Value Parking van was waiting for me there. I was transported to the Value Parking lot within 5 minutes. When I arrived there, my car was waiting in the front with the trunk open. A staff member took my bags out of the van and placed them in my trunk. I then paid my account balance and went along my merry way. I must say that the price was extremely awesome for 6 days and that all staff members were friendly, respectful and professional. My car also appeared to be in the same condition that I left it in. I was very impressed and would surely use this service again. I must say at first I was nervous about doing so because I never left my car anywhere before, however, I was highly satisfied with my experience. read more
