Very unprofessional, very loud inside the shop, coworkers yelling at each other, slapping each other everybody running around, not paying attention not sure what service I actually got because they didn't confirm anything with me. I usually don't have any problems with Valvoline but due to a busy schedule had to stop by a new location than normal. As soon as I pulled in I parked and turned my car off, the attendant told me to turn my car back on so they could inspect it, and I said no thank you I was just here a month ago, I know all my lights work and filters are good I just want an oil change. He said okay and walked away and they got to work. 5 minutes later he comes back and says you should get a transmission flush, I say no. He says I need a radiator flush, I say no, he says I should get a fuel injector cleaning service, I say I already had that done 50,000 miles ago and it didn't work, so I'm good. Despite me being up front and telling them I don't want any additional services and telling them I was just there a month ago, they insisted on selling me more services. I understand it's their job, but if I politely tell you no twice, please take that as a hint. read more

i caught Valvoline lying to me on my last oil change. They were trying to sell me a new oil filter and told me I had oil leaking from the oil pan and transmission fluid was leaking. I went right to my real mechanic's shop and learned that none of what Valvoline said was true. It makes me very concerned about ever having another oil change there. Not sure if it was just inexperienced technicians who honestly but mistakingly told me wrong information or if something nefarious was going on. read more

I had my oil changed at a location 2 days before and my oil was leaking. I showed up at the Green location to see if they could check what the issue was. Matt the manager put me in a line that was the longest wait of over an hour with other cars there less time with me, and tried to tell me that it was most likely my oil pan that was the problem. I tried to tell him to just check to see if the oil filter or plug was not tightened and he did not want to quickly service me in front of other paying customers. VERY disappointed in Valvaline and i will not be back. Just because I am a woman does not mean I do not know how cars are built or how they work. read more

Good service, in and out. Only downside is that a synthetic oil change is $83 with a $10 off coupon. Now I've never gotten a synthetic oil change (it wasn't my car that I took), but damn that seems expensive, at least relative to a conventional oil change. After having to leave another location due to being misled (see my Ron Marhofer Hyundai review) I decided to stop at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change and see if they could get me taken care of quickly. I arrived at 7:40am and they were not open (sign on door said 8:00am.) I decided that I would wait a few minutes and read from my book that I had with me. At about 7:45 a truck pulled up and a guy got out, unlocked the door and went inside. A few minutes later another vehicle pulled up and another employee got out and went in. At a little less than 10 until 8 the first guy opened up the garage door and motioned for me to pull in. He was very friendly. I let him know that I needed an oil change and that I was in a bit of a hurry because I needed to get to work. He assured me that he would be able to get me in and out quickly. He started taking my information while the other gentleman started working on my car. During this time two other employees arrived and started taking care of another customer. The employee asked if I wanted a tire rotation and he took the time to show me my tires and how it would be beneficial to get them changed (being that I used to be in the car business I knew that the rotation was necessary, but thought it was nice that they took the time to educate the customer.) Knowing that I was pressed for time the two other employees jumped in to help rotate the tires. All said and done I had oil changed, tires rotated and paid in under 30 minutes (mind you, I did not have an appointment!) This allowed me to get back home, swap cars and get to work in time. read more

I was long, LONG overdue for an oil change when I pulled in here. There was no one else in the shop, so we got the full attention. As I suspected, we needed a few add-ons (new air filter and the coolant changed), and the mechanic was very thorough and did not pressure me at all about getting the work done there, but explained very clearly what the situation was. It wasn't too much money, so while I was there I told them to do whatever needed done. The staff was so helpful and friendly and trustworthy, I am VERY pleased with the result. After Employees' discovery of a rusty oil pan, they proceeded to try to change my oil, taring a hole in my drain pan while doing so; disabling my vehicle. The only response back I got was some help pushing my vehicle out of the bay and instruction on where I could buy parts to fix the damage they'd done to my vehicle; after telling me it's an easy fix and something they can do, there boss just wouldn't let them. Threatening to drive away business if they did not attend to their mistake we reached a compromise. Staff was helpful and no hard feelings are held, but I will not be going back. I shouldn't of had to negotiate over a business ethics issue with a multimillion dollar company. Cost to fix my vehicle $400, business they will loose from my bad experience will certainly surpass that. read more

Highly recommended! Very friendly, honest service. I always get my oil changed here. I appreciate the convenience of staying in my car. I love that I don't need an appointment. I can stop by to have air pumped into my tires anytime, and at NO COST. They help me keep track of other auto maintenance services such as battery life, tire rotation, air filter replacement, etc. My headlights tend to burn out quickly. On multiple occasions, I have drove in with a replacement bulb in hand and the technicians replaced my headlights without charging labor fees. read more

Went there on a Monday to have oil, fluids (trans, diffs and transfer case) changed. Wednesday my truck dropped into 4 low and wouldn't come out. The repair garage I took it to told me the transfer case fluid was too low. It took $50 dollars to fix, but it could have been much worse. read more

Usually I have my car oil change at another place and I need the oil change for every 5000 miles. But I saw this place offered a lower price, like around $30, I had my oil change here but they only filled 40% of the total and I had to do an oil change in less than 3000 miles. Really shouldn't go here and will never go back to this place. read more

Over the years there have been some different faces, but always the same great service! By far not the cheapest place, but I absolutely NEVER have to make an appointment. I had my oil changed at a very reputable tire shop near by, but it came with a cost! I had to schedule over a week in advance. At Valvoline you need no appointment at all. Sure the other guys sound great with a $15.99 oil change, but that is a ploy that I'm ashamed to say got me in the door. At this "other shop" I was not only charged $15.99 for the oil change I was also charged $3.50 for a disposal fee. They also had a "shop fee" of $4.00. When I asked what brand/type of oil was going in my car they could't even give me a straight answer. It was almost like they didn't even know what they were putting into my car. Valvoline Instant Oil change is by far worth the extra 15 bucks! There at Valvoline you actually know what brand of oil goes into your car. Of course the people there want you to buy other stuff. Would you expect any less? None of these guys are in the business to "not make money" , duh. I expect recommendations anywhere I go. These guys never ask me to spend thousands like the tire shops do. At Valvoline they tell me what is needed to keep going without pushing me. I appreciate that and when i choose to do maintenance with them I get a discount for premium fluids.
