My fiancé and I recently visited this Valvoline location for an oil change. While attempting to pull into the service bay, our vehicle's muffler unfortunately got caught on the edge of the lower pit area. The staff responded immediately and did their best to assist us. We truly appreciate the quick action and effort from the team, especially Nick, who went above and beyond to help us. The manager (whose name I unfortunately did not catch) was also very supportive, and we are grateful for everyone who stepped in to assist. While most of the team was extremely helpful and professional, there was one younger employee who seemed in "awe" of the inconvenience and did not actively participate in helping during the situation much, which was disappointing. The employees are SO friendly and kind, they always get you in and out super quick, and even check your tires and fill your windshield wiper fluid on the house. Usually I dread oil changes. Jefe and Eric did a great job and we're in good spirits the whole time. They didn't push anything on me, but told me what to change and when. Really helpful. Great job from these two guys! Only reason it's not a 5 star, is that I couldn't get my tires rotated here due to the plastic on the bottom of my car. I've been going to Valvoline for years and am always pleased with the thorough way they make sure I'm ready for the road. In my most recent visit, I had a very good coupon for the competitor next door. When "Zach" greeted me, I told him I had debated about using that other coupon, but that the customer service I knew here brought me in. As the assistant manager, Zach told me he would do what he could with his coupons to honor the fact that I had chosen Valvoline. Beyond that, he treated me like an old buddy for whom he wanted to ensure safe travels as I set out on a road trip. This is my favorite valvoline I've been to! They are super quick and thorough and were nice to me and helped me use my Groupon. The workers are friendly and explain everything in layman's terms and also DONT push you at all to make more purchases. They changed my oil, and I chose to change my air filter as well, which was only $25. They then gave me easy to understand paperwork to help me prepare and budget for other repairs my car would need and a timeline for safety waiting on these repairs. Overall such a positive experience especially as someone who has anxiety around driving and interacting with cars and people fixing my car. I really appreciate everyone there :) read more

Standard oil change place you can trust. I've been a customer here through three cars and have no complaints. They are fast and professional. They don't upsell as much as other oil change garages, you know-- want you to replace the entire engine while your car is in an insecure spot being worked on and drained of oil; those people pulling your serpentine and blabbing about some part using jargen you never heard and suspect is made-up. No these guys treat you straight. They will though mention tuneup schedules and have on file any call backs for parts the manufacturer may have anounced. Horrible customer service. The younger girl with tattoos was checking us in and when we said we didnt want the $145.00 transmition replacement she said "ok wow". right then knowing we just wanted our oil changed we recieved horrible service. Didnt check our lights, turn signals , filters or wipers , I'm all about fast service but we were in and out in about 8 min. They didnt even change our oil filter. I know because the old one was still on when i checked the next day. You can always feel when they are taking the old one off and when i felt no movement i knew right then what was going on. Worst valvoline i have ever been to and i have a fleet account and use their service alot. i will stick with the one in dublin. read more

I went in for an oil change today at the Bethel Road Valvoline location and was the only car there. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. They didn't check my tire pressure, my lights, or my turn signals, and now I'm wondering if they checked the other engine fluids or even changed the oil at all. I felt no movement in my car whatsoever when they were supposedly changing the oil, as I have every time I've had my oil changed there. Even though I've been a customer at the Bethel Road Valvoline for many years, I will never go there again. I feel ripped off. read more

My first experience here was great. Everything was clearly explained to me and it was fast friendly service. My second experience was not great. The tech was super rushed, did not explain anything and did not even ask what oil we wanted before putting it in, even though earlier we had specifically asked to talk about it (because we knew we wanted a different oil than last time) and he said, "yeah, we'll get to that later." When I expressed my frustration about this, the service manager was super kind, explained everything and made it right. He went out of his way to let us know that he cared about our business and the tech separately came over and apologized. I thought that was a really professional way to handle the situation. I always go for the Synthetic Oil Change includes 5 Qt oil, they put air in your tire 32 PSI, washer liquid for wipers, check your oil filter and recommend if you need replacement...all of your signals, lights and blinkers are checked as are your lights and license lights... Valvoline also does minor repairs, they check your car and run a diagnostic on it to see if anything needs replacement or measures wear and tear... I like the guys at Valvoline, they are honest and they tell you what's going... get over to Valvoline for an Oil Change if you live near Bethel... I hate getting my car worked on. It's as if because I don't have something hanging between my legs people think I can't tell when they're hard selling me. Then along came Valvoline. I used to take my 94 Honda, The Black Pearl, here to get her oil changed. Even after I moved away from UA to Grandview I still take my new Fit, Pearl Deux, here. The people here never try to sell me anything I don't need. They are polite, courteous, and enthusiastic. You can pull in and hang out in your car while they work. I simply tell them what I need and they do it. They also check your washer fluid, tire pressure, and make sure all your lights are working. They also are happy to top your oil off if you run low before you are due for a change. (The Pearl uno burned through oil like it was going out of style) I trust these people so much I went there when my car was having serious engine problems to ask where I should go. Sold!! This was my 2nd oil change this year at a Valvoline. Hands down the best oil change experiences ever. I will no longer take my car to the discount place that ONLY changes the oil. They do sooooo much more here. They check all fluids, lights all the way around. They are very quick and thorough and always so nice. I will recommend everyone to now go to Valvoline for an oil change!! If you enroll via text you can get a coupon off and after your first oil change you will start getting postcards in the mail for $$ off. This oil change was $7 off using a postcard. It's been a long time since I've been into a Valvoline Instant Oil Change. I usually do oil changes myself. The process isn't all that hard. Some vehicles can be harder than others, but it's easy enough. These days though, I have been quite lazy, and haven't really wanted to do the oil change myself. Also, I didn't want to lug used oil around. I decided on Valvoline because I've used them a long time ago (about five cars ago, which equates to about 14 years). I also did research and saw that they did more than oil changes nowadays. They also had an engine guarantee which was also free and gave me peace of mind, especially on a vehicle with over 100,000 miles. So pulling up, I was immediately motioned in. They weren't busy, so I figured I wouldn't have to wait. First thing I noticed was that I didn't need to get out of my car. Computer was next to the bay and everything was taken care of from the driver's seat. I figured they would probably have you wait in the waiting room if they had to lift the vehicle. The manager went over the different oil change packages; I already had one in mind, so that was easy. They aren't pushy when it came to the other services, such as belt replacement, wiper replacement, etc. They did a safety check and told me that my driver's side brake light was out, so I did have that changed since it was the price of the bulb I would have got anyway. The whole service took about 40 minutes. The brake light isn't the easiest to get to, and it was much quicker than I would have took. Everything was good to go, used my coupon, and I was on my way. Wife unit was surprised at how fast it took We actually had time to hang out and do stuff that morning! If you don't like getting dirty, I recommend going here. You won't be disappointed. read more

I came here yesterday and was quite surprised at the professionalism and speed. They definitely deliver on the 'quality and speed' tag they put on their oil change reminder. They aren't all that busy since the oil change starts at around $40, whereas right next door there's a place that's $17 bucks, but it's all about what you value, right? Do you want to be in and out in 10 mins, not have to leave your car and drive off? or do you want to set up an appointment for next week and wait 45 minutes for an oil change? These guys check your fluids, lights, windshield wipers, etc. They will also replace bulbs if you need them (but I know how to do this, so no thanks). They also give you recommendations on standard maintenance such as transmission fluid (which apparently should be changed every 30K miles according to my manufacturer, whoops!). I went ahead with the transmission and radiator fluid swap and all in all, they were fast, courteous and respectful. They also had a bunch of lingo around oil going in on bay 1 or top off this or that on bay 1, etc. so it looks like they have a process to ensure quality and dependability (i.e. not forgetting my oil fliter or something else bad) so that was reassuring. read more

I went to get an oil change and asked to also check for light bulbs that were out. After they finished, I told the guy my dashboard is still indicating a light is out. He double checks and said he didnt find any bulbs out. I go home and get out of my car... I see one break light out. What a dumb ass read more

Went there while we were in town visiting. A month later I noticed small oil spots in my driveway. Jacked the car up and was shocked to see the nylon washer on the oil pan screw totally distorted so it was metal on metal which would explain the leaking. It was a brand new washer I put on when I changed the oil the previous time and it was fine so I know it was Valvoline. How the hell could someone miss that when that's all they do all day.... terrible... will never use them again. read more

This place is good. The people who work here are very courteous and efficient. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the waiting room is not clean. The floor needs to be vacuumed and washed on a regular basis. Also, the glass doors and windows need to be cleaned regularly because they have fingerprints all over them. read more
