I came in for a simple oil change and ended up dealing with one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had at any business. Scott, the manager, was completely disrespectful--condescending, rude, and clearly had no interest in helping or even listening. What should have been a quick and routine visit turned into a frustrating waste of time. Not only was the service slow, but the staff seemed disorganized and careless, due to the managers supervising skills. I left feeling like my business didn't matter to them at all. If this is how they treat customers, I won't be coming back--and I'd recommend others think twice before going here. read more

Takes WAAAAAAAYYYY to long. Waited over half an hour for these guys to clear ONE customer out of the bay. Really? Once I got in for service, basically business as usual. A little pricey, but very thorough - so if time is money, zero sum. My only gripe is perhaps I expected the typical oil change to max out at about fifteen minutes - maybe not realistic. Just wanted to let people know that these guys will not stand behind their work! They put the wrong filter on our E450 shuttle bus. We did not catch the oil leak until the bus overheated in the middle of nowhere. Had it towed and looked at. That is when they found the leak that cause the overheating. got fixed. We just asked them to cover the tow and repair they told us to lawyer up if we wanted to press the issue. Do not use this service !!! read more

This is the second time we've had a vehicle serviced at VIOC in Florence while on vacation. The staff performed the oil change in 10 minutes along with a comprehensive inspection. They did recommend a couple other services that are part of routine maintenance items that are part of the 40k service on my Jeep Renegade, and they were less than half the price of the dealership. Since I had a coupon for 20% off, it was an even better deal. Sure, you can do your own oil - and I used to. However, by the time you add up the cost of the oil and filter, let alone the time, it's worth it to have someone do it for you. read more

Full Service here also means they will run over to autozone, if they are out of stock on my air filter! I came here today because I thought this was an Oil Can Henry's store. I had preferred that brand when I lived in CA. Mark said that they recently changed over and they were still the same staff. Good, because it was OCH's method of performing their oil checks (and comfort of staying in your car) that made it such a pleasure to go there. I'm getting an oil change, transmission fluid change and air filter. They have a new safety practice for handling keys, which is brilliant! I want to knock off a star because they now have UGLY uniforms, but they can't help that. Hey corporate Valvoline, what's up with THAT?? UPDATE: Brought my other car over since they emailed me a $10 coupon. I had to knock down a star because according to my paperwork they refilled my windshield washer fluid, but the next day I discovered that they did not. Otherwise, same good service, and no upsell pressure. It would be nice to have them clean the bugs off the windshield, as a complementary service! read more

I've been taking my car here since I lived in a apartment and was not allowed to change my oil had the car since new and they are only ones to change my oil now I have a house and can change my own oil I have noticed that these guys used there air gun on my drain bolt stripped the bolt head and dented my oil pan, I have also noticed they apparently do not check if the old gasket on the oil filter comes off or not. They will change your oil charge you quite the markup and not use common sense while changing oil damaging your vehicle I wouldn't trust them to do anything other than a oil change and they can't even do that right, and the guy that always calls you chap is annoying. read more

Super happy with this location! I've always used jiffy lube, but my last two experiences there have been less than good. At Valvoline I was In and out in under 15 minutes...and I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything I didn't come in for. All liquids were filled and tires checked too (an issue jiffy lube has a hit and miss with)-- I will be back! :-) read more

Overall the experience wasn't bad, but I did wait in line for one hour before they even got started on me. I've been in long lines for oil changes before but this was excessive. I think they were having problems with a couple of the vehicles in line ahead of us. One bay was completely closed as they were waiting on a part to complete that vehicle. read more

I had an oil change on 11/17. The next day my low coolant notification came on in my Jeep. It stayed on through Thanksgiving, so I went out on the 25th to have them recheck the coolant and top off. (They had told me on the 17th that they had checked it.) I asked one of the guys working there if I could pull around front and have it checked and topped off when I got there. He said "No, you'll have to wait your turn in line." Needless to say, I left. I am a senior woman and the Valvoline location is about 5 miles from our house. Was greeted by Danny the manager and from beginning to end, A++ customer service. Danny and his team of well trained techs did a awesome job getting my oil changed, fluids filled and even helped me with some great suggestions to help improve the way my car runs. Very rude. Came in for oil change, guy (actually manager) asked what I wanted, just fine. Then demanded I give him my keys, thought is was like a car jacking. I refused, he then said put them in a black box on the dash. I said no, they claim people start their cars when working on them. When I arrived at Valvoline, I specifically asked the technician not to lean on my car (black paint) for it scratched easily. And of course they leaned against it and spilled oil down the front bumper. THEN, they attempted to clean off the oil with a dirty towel and put a real deep scratch in it. I discovered two nasty scratches when I got home. I called and was essentially called a lier and talk down to. Absolutely the worse place in Eugene to have any service done. today their employee scratched our car with one of their signs that they hold on the street corners to advertise. He didnt wait for on coming traffic (which is pretty busy there), just walked straight across without being aware of everyone's safety, as he was swinging the sign around with headphones on, walked behind our car and hit our car, leaving a scratch from the corner of it. When the manager called us to talk, he was very aggressive and claimed that since he couldnt prove it that it didnt happen because the employee didnt own up to what he did and that he can't compensate in any way. Then the manager claimed he tried to do the same to his car but without the same result. this employee hit our car pretty hard that all three of us jumped and turned to the back of the car, so I highly doubt that he hadn't noticed. when we asked for the district manager number he refused to give it to us. scratch wasnt the big deal, but how the situation was dealt with it and treated us was outrageously rude and not professional. I highly recommend taking your business to another spot who actual cares and is willing to be reasonable. From other reviews I have read about this spot, it seems that the aggressive manager still works there even after all other instances that have taken place at this location. We dont get our oil changed there but after this we DEFINITELY NEVER WILL. read more
