After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. He asked did I want the receipt printed or in my email, I told him to email it, (still didn't get it in my email) As I pulled away my Bank popped up showing $49.11. I called him immediately and asked if he forgot my discount?? He said, no, I gave it to you. So I went in for a $53 dollar oil change and was told that I would be taken care of and I ended up paying $77.00 oil change. I should of stayed at BigO tire. I hesitated on posting this but we have 4 more cars we are getting oil changes on and tire rotations since we just rolled in town from Cali and was looking for a local place we could adopt as our " go to shop" for minor car maintenance . We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does.
