I purchased the Full Synthetic Oil Change, which was applied to my 2023 Dodge Challenger ($68.00 value). The customer service was great. Julio (associate) and Mean (Manager) were both super helpful with taking care of the needs of my vehicle. The oil change was completed in 15 minutes. I also opted for the Complete Fuel System Treatment upgrade, priced at $19.99. This offering provided the opportunity to clean the entire fuel system. With everything being completed, the original bill totaled out to be $121.51. With the Groupon voucher valued at $68, I spent an additional $53.12 out of pocket. One of the young men, James, is superb at his job and knows it very well. He is outstanding, and deserves a pat on the back. The management is effective and courteous. I'm so impressed with this place compared to some of less options in Stockton. The facility is newer, organized, and clean. The speed at which they work and the friendless of the two team members were admirable. Came in at 8:15 am on a Sunday morning and the two of them just worked through all of the cars that came through, calling out things to each other to make sure everything is safe, cross check. I would say the prices for synthetic oil have gone up dramatically on the past few years. So I'm not going to give Valvoline a demerit based on price. I will say they did try to upsell during many points of the service. I really don't care for those added or recommended services but I do understand that it's a basic business model for these speedy based lube stations. The crew was very young and yet I was pretty impressed on how they operated. Since I'm a teacher I think I have a bit more patience than the average bear so I can accept a bit of a learning curve when it comes to customer service. I mean, truly, in any job employees are really looking to earn respect and be respected for their competence.On the other side is finding some grace when making errors. Overall I give these "kids" credit for busting their tail and doing a good job that is even more complex as new cars require more computer based maintenance. Came here recently for an oil change and was surprised how speedy and quick these guys are. So much so they want you to wait in your car. They did make a small mistake and owned up right away and fixed the issue. Service was a 5 out of 5 for sure with everyone being super friendly l! DO NOT GO HERE! My husband went here on 4/5/25 and spent $250 on an oil change for his eco diesel truck. On Wednesday on his way home from work, he smelled something burning. He opened his hood and oil was everywhere! The cap to the oil reservoir was gone and it was leaking oil all over our driveway. He called Valvoline and guess what they said. We have video and "she put the cap on". They basically said they were not at fault. NOW we have to buy a new cap for $60 and oil. They were SO rude! Fingers crossed there are no other issues from this horrible experience! They are over priced and very sloppy. After talking to others, this is a problem.DO NOT GO THERE!!! read more

I called to get a price so I can choose where to take my car for the best price. They would only tell me the price plus taxes and fees. They wouldn't tell me how much the fee is? They said I had to go in for that. That's literally why i'm on the phone. I guess I won't be going there because I have no idea how much the fee is. The service technicians were extremely quick and have always been polite, however, the station should make it standard practice to cover the front of the cars to protect the paint. Our technician had keys in front and the hose was resting on the paint. They seemed more concerned about speed than quality. I went there for an oil change and to get my battery changed. Which I have never got any other service than an oil change since I found a great coupon online for half off. It was going fine until they started working on replacing my battery. It should have taken about ten minutes as the manager said however I was there for forty minutes just dealing with my battery be replaced. Once it was done before I even left the parking lot my car was shaking and died on me which it has never done this before I went into this store. So when going back right away they say it's not our fault it's something else which so taking it to a mechanic my car was in there for the past two weeks after this happened just because of a battery being replaced. The associates and managers are being very rude and not caring about customer service even though I have gone through their customer service care which is just a chat with the manager again. I will never let this store or any Valvoline company product touch my car ever again. This is very unacceptable and frustrating of how they treat their customers. We take all our vehicles to Valvoline in Lower Sacramento Rd in Lodi, CA in the same parking lot as WalMart Super Center. The staff are very friendly, courteous, & polite. They go beyond expectations. I hope they never change! We have been going there since they opened. I highly recommend this place for all your automotive needs. I went here because they're a little bit cheaper than the competition but then they charged for every little thing bringing the price back up. The service was good as far as courtesy. When I called them To check on an inspection service I needed it for Lyft. They told me they did it and then when I showed up they told me they couldn't do it overall it was a little frustrating dealing with them and the service wasn't any cheaper than another change places around. read more

Went here on a Thursday when I was off because on the Saturday they where 6 cars deep and told 60-75 mins for a oil change. I avoid quick lubed for 2 reasons one is they try to upsell you everything based upon the car's manufacturer recommendations. Well Toyota on their newer model say 10,000 per change. I still don't trust it and do 5,000 after hearing the price for a full synthetic oil change of 124 I drove out and went to Walmart. At Walmart some people say don't do your oil change their but I have had nothing but great success with the oil change service there. I recommend you get there early so you don't have to wait and the only two things that they will sell you extra is the oil system cleaner or the fuel injection cleaner. I believe one is 9.99 and the other is 24,99 and a full synthetic oil Change is around 60 bucks and they only do the extra services if you ask for it. Valvoline charges be more than what the Toyota dealership charges for a oil change. I try to give a new place in Lodi Business based upon pricing and wait times I'll stick with Walmart or dealership. It's just another Jiffy Lube with a different name where the people are paid on commission for up selling you services that you don't need for RVs upon their own recommendations, not with the automotive manufacturer recommends And they're in the same parking lot as Walmart so it's not very far from it just go to Walmart and get the oil change there you can watch them do it and to prevent any problems they don't even undo the drain plug. They use a suction vacuuming system to suck all the oil out of the oil pan and then replace the filter and if you need an air filter for your vehicle, you pay the normal price like you would at Walmart or AutoZone not the overpriced charge at a quick lube place like Valvoline or Jiffy Lube. read more

Well I guess I should have read the yelp reviews before coming here. LOL. seems oil leaks are their specialty. Although my oil leak was very small the manager and the employee both tride to tell me that it's probably from them not wiping down underneath lmao. I must have looked really stupid to believe that and that must be what they are told to tell everyone. They acted like they were doing me a favor when I went back to have the leak fixed which was a leak from the bolt where they didn't do it correctly. The Manager Kevin should NOT be a manager he is unprofessional and rude. Jordan on the other hand knows how to talk to customers and is very professional and should be the manager. I only went here because they had a Groupon for $69 because I would never pay $109 for an oil change at a place like this. I will never come back here again, most of them don't know what they are doing and are very disrespectful and unprofessional. Lesson learned I'll keep going to a place that knows what they are doing. Heck Walmart is probably better than this place. They are obviously hurting for business or they wouldn't have a Groupon in the first place. Not surprised they are hurting by the why their employees act and the lack of knowledge and lame excuses when they do it wrong the first time. Yes it's quick, but they work is quick too.
