Service. No one seems to want to actually work there. It's been an hour and a half with 2 cars in front of me and my truck has been sitting in the parking lot the whole. Walked around the store walked over to buffalo wings sat ate some food. Got a Jamba Juice walked back and my truck still hasn't moved. This place is still open but it might as well be closed. I've never been to a store where they try "not" to get your business. I went in needing a tire. First thing though I had to go to the actual garage to get anyone to assist me. Four clowns laughing and playing on their phones. Finally I get a guy to assist. I tell him I need a tire. He then states "it going to be at least 3-4 hours". I said "ok"; then he said he didn't have my tire size in stock and he would have to order. I said "ok". My responses were not making this guy happy. He finally finished with " we can't change 20" rims, our tool doesn't allow for that size". Seriously?? I just looked at him and said " this is why you are in your 30's working at WalMart" and left. I would give even lower stars if I could. So tired of the brain stems working there. read more

Walked in and stood at the counter for 14 minutes before my wife and I were even acknowledged, and that was because we asked them for help. 2 employees walked back and forth and couldn't even say "we'll be right with you" or anything. After roughly 20 minutes. At that point we asked where do we go or who can help us with a oil change. That's when the extremely rude employee kindly let us know it would be a 4-5 hour wait because they only have one person doing oil changes. 4 to 5 hours??? That seems rather excessive. While walking away I heard the lady that was behind us ask for a oil change as well.... I just giggled and thought to myself good luck! We did decide to stay and do our shopping. When we finished up about a hour later we left through the auto center and the lady who was waiting for a oil change behind us was getting in to their car!!!! So it seems as though we were told the wait time was 4 hours but the lady behind is had hers finished in little over an hour! So not only are they rude but they are also deceitful! Now the rest of Walmart is fine but the auto lube portion should hire honest ppl who want to do their jobs! Trust me I am about to go on Yelp and other platforms to let everyone know what horrible customer service I received. read more

just called to see how long the wait was to get an oil change and the man who answered said "you're going to have to wait I've got 4 to 5 people here" and then we just heard background noise. There was no "Hello" no "please hold" no "we'll be with you soon." Nope, Just strait up rude right away! They are awful. No customer service skills at all! read more

I was told it was going to be a 20 minute wait and that within an hour I would be done, 40 minutes later I was told they could take my car in and it was going to be another half an hour before my car was done. Some woman came in after me and gave the guy some sob story and low and behold she gets seen before me even though I was there 10 minutes before her what kind of service is that? super unprofessional. Horrible manager! I went in to get 4 new tires. I was told it will take about 2 hours. That's fine. No other cars there. I check in 2 hours later and they haven't even started my car yet, but I saw it go in to the shop at least an hour in. Ok, wait around a little longer with bored toddlers. Check in 30 min later, they still hadn't started. At this point I'm pretty irritated but what can I do? They finally get "finished" in the 4th hour! Then I go to pay and they let me know that one rim was damaged so they didn't replace the 4th tire! I asked why they didn't call when they realized that they wouldn't be able to performed all of the work agreed on. The cashier was appologetic and polite, but the manager was snapping at her and rude to her too. The manager was short and rude with me from the beginning and even worse when I expressed that I was not happy that they weren't able to do all 4 tires. I wouldn't have gotten them there if I knew I wouldn't be able to get a matching set. He asked if I wanted them taken off in a snarky attitude, but I decided that I didn't want to wait another 4 hours to remove the three tires. I ended up going to a nice place down the road that fixed my rim and gave me a new tire at a waaaay lower price, and fixing the rim and replacing the tire took 15 minutes! I attempted to get tires for my mother's car about a year later (short on cash and needed cheap tires, I shouldn't have even tried. Lesson learned) and of course it's the same manager. Ok maybe he was just having a bad day. I'll give him another chance. Well it took an hour to help the 2 customers infront of me. I get to be next and he tells me there are 5 cars ahead of me and then just stares at me. Ok, we knew it would be a long time, so we planned to hang out and wait all day. We saw that they were busy too, but were willing to be patient because we needed them that day. We say ok, how long should that be? He doesn't really answer, just tells us what other customers are getting done. Ok we really need them, so we will wait. Then he says with an attitude "Well let's see if we even have your tires." I checked online and it said they do, but of course, he takes the numbers and they don't have them in stock. Like they didn't want more work. I say ok fine and leave. As long as that manager works there at the Lodi CA Walmart Auto Center, I will never go back. So incredibly rude!! read more

Appointments are useless here. I ordered 2 tires online and paid in advance. I received a notice from FedEx that the tires were delivered so I called in to make an appointment to have them put on. I also asked if the tires were in since Walmart didn't message me as it was FedEx. The guy told me, yeah they're here, so I made the appointment and came in. Once I get there they can't find my tires. They spent 40 mins looking for tires, I should them my delivery notice and the person that signed for them and nothing. At this point I have all ready waited a week for these tires and now they can't find them? I left the store quite dissatisfied and headed for Home Depot to do some shopping. About 45 mins after I left Walmart I receive a text saying my tires are in. At this point in time my tires should've all ready been put on. I go back to the store and instead of going to the auto center where they couldn't find the tires, I went to the pickup center inside the store and let them know what I had been going through. They were the ones to send the text that the tires were in so I went to them. As I should've known, they spent a half hour looking for the freaking tires themselves. Finally I walk over to the auto center myself and ask for the tires again. Thirty mins later they find the tires. Now you would think that since I had an appointment the I would be first in line, nope. I waited yet another 2 and a half hours for 2 tires. Absolutely the worst service center I've been to in years. This is why America's Tire charges $10 a tire, they probably get you in and out when they say they will. I'm not worried about saving $20 or $30 going to this place when I have to wait 5 and a half hours just to get 2 tires replaced. I'll spend the extra money for the time. read more

Been here 3 or 4 times now. Once for tires and some oil changes. This is the first time I received decent service. Hopefully this is a start in improved service for everyone at this location. I've been to Wal-Mart oil changes all over California, mostly very happy with the results. Here in lodi I've not been satisfied untill my most recent visit today. read more

I took my show cop car in to get an oil change and my car has a skid plate underneath. So they need to take off the plate to change the oil filter, they had a difficult time taking it off for whatever reason... as a car place you should know how to remove one.. I pick up my car when it's done and when I got home I checked under the car and 4 bolts were missing, they only put 2 bolts on two corners so two corners were missing the bolts they needed for the skid plate to fit perfectly. I went back to get those bolts and they tried to tell me it didnt have all bolts but this is completely un true, my skid plate had all bolts. Without them my corners were just hanging. So sloppy and so unacceptable, they bent the metal underneath so my skid plate wasnt fitting on perfectly like it should. I am so angry at how careless they were with my car.. gotta go get it checked out by someone else now cause I dont trust the work they did. read more
