Good service, friendly staff. The only negative is if you go when they're busy you can get stuck in the line for well over an hour because some people also get their tires rotated. Very professional and clean. I had confidence in what was being done to my car. I have been here twice now. Only reason it is not 5 is the wait time. Go very early when they open and you are good. After that, plan on 1 1/2 hour wait time. I timed my service and it was exactly the advertised 15 minutes, but this is a popular spot and very busy. So timing is important. Our go-to location for an oil change! This is the only Valvoline that my family will go to. The service is always superb and we never regret it. Everyone is always really nice and they never pressure us to do any services that we don't want. Although they only have 2 lanes, they're really efficient so the wait isn't too long. I was in line at 8:00 AM with two people ahead of me. It's now going on 9 o'clock and there's two people are still in front of me . Last time I was here I waited in line with my kids, expecting a 15 to 30 minute per car, oil change, and that's not the case it literally took an hour and 45 minutes to get through three cars. These guys are the slowest oil change service spot I've ever been to I do not recommend going to THIS Valvoline. You're better off driving a few extra miles to get one with better technicians. I can't imagine the turnover rate is great here being open for eight hours and only getting through a handful of customers is crazy work. read more

Beware -- Poor Service and No Accountability I visited Valvoline on March 27 and on March 29, my car broke down. I called Valvoline customer care and was told they'd send someone to inspect the vehicle and take responsibility if it was their fault. I was also told the store manager would follow up the next day. The manager did call -- only to dismiss the issue and tell me to go to a mechanic. I did, and the mechanic confirmed that the damage was due to Valvoline's service. Despite this, Valvoline has done nothing to address or correct the situation. Extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability. I wouldn't recommend taking your car here unless you're okay with the risk of costly repairs and no support afterward. read more

I did my oil change and me and the mechanic start talking about how my car has a shell of a skid plate and that they have to take it all down to change my oil, but would have me out quickly all though it took 30 extra minutes because the guy had to redo my skid plate because he didn't tuck it into the bumper. So as I had more time I tell the guy I'm leaving to dessert and wanted to make sure all was good he replies you will be all set. Leave for the weekend on my way back my skid plate drops down as I am driving through the open dessert from az and nv so I have to pull over and see a corner of driver side skid plate down but not all the way across so I have to try to tuck it in as much as possible to continue our drive. I call valvoline and they say let's start a claim take it in to the same shop so I take it to the same shop they add some plastic and replace some plastic push in screws they tell me the only replaced one well tech did say so and manager said they had not replaced any and that the rest are in tack and that I might of hit something mind you no damage to my car or bumper and that there a piece missing from the skid plate cover mind you when the corner screws came off what what happened to a skid plate that is traveling fast in the desert highways it would create a pocket and push the skid plate down and once that plate touches the road it will crack and broken off. But they proceed to tell me I was driving to fast. I will be talking to corporate except management at this location is very unprofessional and she will explain things to you with a dead stare and all within 5 words then pass it off to the techs. Been going here for at least 2 years and will never go again I'm hoping corporate will have better understanding of these matters. So far there moto is deny deny deny. read more

got in at 1350 pm and got seen at 1411! not bad of a wait and we dont have to leave our car! i really like how they just have to scan our car and everything is on their computer! they also checked all our tires as well to be a PSI of 36 and thats cool they do that!! im getting a battery replaced and it cost about $263 ish. not sure if this is the normal prices now for batteries lol i also got an oil change here last time too and it was quick and customer service was awesome!! they showed me how to use the computer system on my car on how to check a few things which was so nice of them! love getting a sticker to put on the top of my car for a reminder haha we found our new maintenance and oil change place!! totally recommend coming here!! read more

We came in this morning for an oil change. Understandably, it was quite a wait. We requested the conventional oil change, and after waiting about an hour, we finally got in. Before we got into the bay, they were supposed to check all of our fluids and only checked my windshield wiper fluid, and tire pressure. When we got into the bay, it took another 15 minutes before they actually started on our oil change, there was a lot of workers at the beginning of our visit, by the time we got into the bay, there was only about four. Nobody really seemed like they were in a rush to get anybody out of there, and when my husband asked the young man how come nobody checked our fluids, he said they should've checked it before you came in. My husband then told him the only thing that was checked was the tire pressure, and windshield wiper fluid. He then proceeded to go under the hood and then check the filter which was supposed to be done at the beginning of our visit it was a little dirty, but not a concern, and he then said that our brake fluid was low. Would we like to add some brake fluid? My husband said not at this time, but that should've been done at the beginning of our visit he said yes they should've checked everything before. He then asked if we wanted to speak to a manager and we said yes. A woman came up with a bit of an attitude When my husband tried to tell her what was going on she kept interrupting him, saying, all of that was checked at the beginning, and we said no, it wasn't. When we told her that the young man said our brake fluid was low, she said we don't do that. We don't have anything to do with brakes, my husband told her he said the brake fluid was low. That's how we knew. Nobody checked the fluids at the beginning of the visit. She just kept interrupting and saying well we don't do that kind of stuff and you and your filter was checked. We were referred to this Valvoline by my mother who loved her experience, unfortunately, we did not like it! Felt like we were rushed after we got in there, but took forever to get in! Waited two hours no one told us how long the wait would be and when we finally had someone help us I noticed why. They where to busy talking to each other distracted by each other trying to get each others attentions trying to see who can get more attention from each other. I understand they can't do much while working on individual cars but I don't think your employees should be just talking to each other not informing the cars in line about the long inconvenience. You also had employees literally walking around back in forth "helping" when it could be a one person job. Consider cutting hours if you're going to have so many employees stand around and do nothing. This one girl literally put gloves on walked to an ipad took them off and then went to put some back on then got on her phone before "helping" a costumer to pull their car forward mind you there was already someone doing that. I'm not even mentioning the other inappropriate behavior I saw.We also had checked in twice because they forgot and didn't communicate to each other that they had already done that. No acknowledgement when I arrived. After waiting an extensive amount of time, I've observed at least 8 technicians, I kid you not, working at a 2 bay establishment, but not really working. Seemed to be doing minimal while spending greater amounts of time assembling in back of building chatting and joking about loud enough for clients to hear. Cars that pulled up behind me were greeted promptly, though. Finally, was told there would be a longer wait because of problems with filter in bay in front of me. So, I preferred to leave. Will not go back. Seen reviews, and now believe them. (Slowest service ever, in spite of number of personnel present.) Got FAR better treatment in Lake Elsinore branch. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE... They claim my car is leaking oil from wear and tear !! Wear and tear is not caused by changing the oil, sure my car has 98,000 miles and it's a 2021 but if it is wear and tear it was caused by VAVLOLINE. My car wasn't leaking oil from the filter until we took it to the Menifee Valvoline, then took it to Riverside location 4 times and still leaking oil from the filter. What if my wheel fell off my car because you rotated my tires ! Oh that's wear and tear !!! FYI: Wear and tear isn't some cause by a skilled mechanic, it's call maintaining your car. I've been a customer for years but only been to this location twice. I've always had a pleasant experience but this time it was exceptional. While waiting my 7 month old baby got upset and was crying. When I pulled in and it was my turn the manager Kaley came out and distracted her the whole time so I could listen and understand what was going on. I hardly ever write reviews on here, but I had to come and share my experience as I was not happy once I left. Horrible, horrible service. 2 hours wait from start to finish. Alexander was the technician under the hood has no experience at all. 1. They said they would add air to the tires and they only filled up one. When I asked about the rest Alexander said " I put the air thingy on the tire thingy, but nothing would happen, so I told my manager, and he said it was fine. I can try again if you want" 2. While adding oil he spilt 1/2 qrt. down the front of the truck covering my suspension parts in 5w40 and all over my driveway. 3. The pitman tech stripped out my allen drain plug while performing the transfer case service. The tech also drenched my entire under carriage with Max life ATF. Also, since this fluid comes out of a gun... I already knew what happened, the angle of a gun could not get into the fill plug hole due to a cross member, so it shot out everywhere while trying to fill it. Not even sure if the transfer case was filled to the appropriate capacity at this point. 4. You would think the crew would have some sort of hustle after a bunch of angry customers waiting for 1 hr. before the service started but a lot of the female topside techs just gilly gag around. 5. Oil filter was loose and leaking when I got home after driving back for 5 minutes 6. Don't have the decency to rinse anything off. I typically do the fuel filter, transmission service, cabin filters, and air filters myself if I have time. Will not be returning again. Such a bummer but it's best I just do all the services myself from this point on including all the gear boxes.... I have used this location for a few years and have been satisfied with their prompted service. However, last week I went to have the oil change and the wait was over two hours. I understand that there are only two stations, each line had 4 cars in front of me, 2 in each line, and within an hour and a half only one car in each line was serviced. I gave myself an hour and a half before I had to start work thinking that that was plenty of time to have the oil changed, but the lines were not moving. I went back a few days later and it was the same. I drove to the Valvoline off Railroad Canyon and I was out of there within 30 minutes. read more
