I stopped at the valvoline in Cuyahoga falls to get my oil changed and about 15 mins later 5 lights were on. I swung by here and everyone headed to my car to help! Edit: 8/16/24 - I emailed Valvoline customer service as they requested on 8/4/24 and again on 8/12/24 and never received a response - either time. Why respond to this post if you genuinely don't care about your customers? To make it worse? I'll update if they do respond. We drove up from Florida to visit family - as we do several times a year - and realized it was time for an oil change. We chose this location based on ratings and proximity to where our family reside. Huge mistake! While we were in line, we noticed a pregnant female extremely upset because the tech caused "$7,000 in damage to her car" and the store refused to make it right. They were telling her to leave the store because she was causing a scene - that should have been the red flag we needed. But it wasn't my business and I don't know the entire story. We paid for full syn oil change + tire rotation, and asked them to air up the tires in our brand new 2024 Subaru to which they agreed. I noticed while they were rotating the tires in our AWD vehicle that they did not do so in diagonal pattern as is the correct way. I pointed it out and the lead guy on site. Manager? Said "that's how we always do it." So instead of apologizing, or better yet, knowing how to properly perform a service they charge $30 for, he profers a lame excuse. They did agree to correct their mistake. How many unsuspecting vehicle owners have they done this to if it's how they always do it? This can lead to blowouts and unexpected accidents in the future!! So I get in the car because "it's all done," and I asked if they filled the tires with air as we had one that was very low. He tells me yes and that the fluids were topped off, tires were rotated and oil was changed. I turned the car on and the tire sensor was still on indicating it wasn't done. He says "they must have forgotten." So they finally air up the tires, I pay $112 and head on my way. I get home and pop the hood and notice they didn't top off ANY of the fluids, not only that but all of my after market metal valve stem covers were missing. We had to buy new fluids to top them off and just purchased new stem covers on Amazon. Highly disappointed in unprofessionalism, dishonesty and severe lack of customer service. Took my car for an oil change. Everyone here was really friendly. They explained everything they were doing, and they even pointed out that I could watch on their video monitors (they have screens so you can watch what they're doing underneath the car as well as under the hood of the car). They showed me things that needed to be replaced (worn out wipers), and they even showed me things that didn't need to be replaced (air filter). They topped off all the fluids and said their customers can stop over at any time to get the fluids topped off. I felt that they were very honest. Also, they completed the work in a timely manner. So far, I've taken my girlfriends car(Honda accord 2012) and my truck (Silverado 2013) to valvoline. Both of our vehicles require synthetic oil. Which is pricey anywhere. But they have coupons, which are everywhere, to cut the cost. They are quick and painless they don't pressure you to buy things. they show you the oil level and your air filter. They tell you recommended maintenance. I would tell anyone to go to a valvoline. you don't have to get out of your car. read more

I wanted to leave my comments to offset the other issues. I have had small issues in the past but the present staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They DO ask if I need other services they offer. If I don't want them, I say "no". These guys are friendly and smart and get me out fast and easy. When it's time for my next oil change in either car, I'll get a coupon in the mail to make it easy. Honestly I do not know how this doesn't have more stars. Have been here twice and have always had super fast service. Most recently was there and the store manager was assisting me. He is incredibly nice and helped me get all the discounts they had available. Just had my F250 truck oil changed. It takes 7 quarts.... no other service needed done. My bill came to $117..... outrageous. They are charging $10 per quart for synthetic 5w20 oil. That is twice the cost per quart anywhere else. In addition synthetic oil only needs changed every 5000 miles.... they mark the clear indoor sticker reminder that the next oil change needs completed in 3000 miles. The people working were nice but in a time when oil is down to $20/barrel...... this is nothing but highway robbery. They lost my business for good...... and we take 2 trucks there to get serviced..... no more. This message is to highlight the greed this company is demonstrating. read more

Took my car to them for a standard oil change. They took out my air filter and put it back in wrong--by wrong I mean shoved it in there and closed it on the filter damaging the filter. Which caused my car to break down and have to be fixed...over $500 later I am now working with them and am trying to get my bill covered. The have not even apologized for the mess up and the inconvenience it caused me. A simple sorry we messed up would be nice and because of that I will not be going back here. read more

I take my cars here religiously because I trust them working on my car, I trust their advice, and I am always treated with the most respect.
