Oil all over my engine etc. Took the car back complaining about a burnt smell when using the defroster, they said my engine gasket bracket, the gaskets were old/broken I guess. I'm more than a month in and the smell is still there...took the car back in after sending a review to corporate. They then said the air filters need replaced, and this after spending over $1200, I'm still sitting with their problem. I've been a customer with this store for the last 8 years, they won't see me ever again. I've given them business for a long time.

Two different repair shops cited these issues as common things that can be damaged during a starter motor replacement. During repair they messed up my knock sensor and then quoted me $200 more than the dealer did to replace it a second time as the one they put in was not installed correctly. The next day Tuesday October 29th after getting my oil change my engine service light came on while driving home from work. Which caused a very high concern for me as I have gotten many oil changes and have not had this happen before. I was unsure if it was a faulty light, so I waited a few days, and the light never disappeared. So, I took it back Saturday Morning 11/02/2024 around 9:15am with mileage they recorded at 32884 and when they checked the problem he came to same conclusion that there was no oil or a lack of oil. They gave no resolve and had a lack of concern for my safety. They told me the only solution would be to pay more money to have oil added, which is a service that should have already been completed. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR.

We drove up from Florida to visit family - as we do several times a year - and realized it was time for an oil change. We chose this location based on ratings and proximity to where our family reside. Huge mistake! While we were in line, we noticed a pregnant female extremely upset because the tech caused "$7,000 in damage to her car" and the store refused to make it right. They were telling her to leave the store because she was causing a scene - that should have been the red flag we needed. But it wasn't my business and I don't know the entire story. We paid for full syn oil change + tire rotation, and asked them to air up the tires in our brand new 2024 Subaru to which they agreed. I noticed while they were rotating the tires in our AWD vehicle that they did not do so in diagonal pattern as is the correct way. I pointed it out and the lead guy on site. Manager? Said "that's how we always do it." So instead of apologizing, or better yet, knowing how to properly perform a service they charge $30 for, he profers a lame excuse. They did agree to correct their mistake. How many unsuspecting vehicle owners have they done this to if it's how they always do it? This can lead to blowouts and unexpected accidents in the future!! So I get in the car because "it's all done," and I asked if they filled the tires with air as we had one that was very low. He tells me yes and that the fluids were topped off, tires were rotated and oil was changed. I turned the car on and the tire sensor was still on indicating it wasn't done. He says "they must have forgotten." So they finally air up the tires, I pay $112 and head on my way. I get home and pop the hood and notice they didn't top off ANY of the fluids, not only that but all of my after market metal valve stem covers were missing. We had to buy new fluids to top them off and just purchased new stem covers on Amazon. Highly disappointed in unprofessionalism, dishonesty and severe lack of customer service. I've taken my truck here twice for tires. The first time, I had a puncture in my tire (unfixable) and they got me in immediately at 8am, changed it real quick, and I made it to work on time at 9am - they even asked the mechanic to work especially quick, knowing that I had to rush to work. The second time, I had the other three replaced. Their prices were cheaper than Goodyear, Firestone, and Walmart. Also, they accept Goodyear Credit Card, which is convenient for surprise repairs/maintenance. One time, my gf needed some wiring or something repaired (had something to do with her brakes. I wasn't there, so I dont know the exact problem). Flynn fixed it for $200 cheaper than what she was quoted at other places in Kent Ohio. Also, they allowed me to pay for it on my card over the phone, which was convenient. One of the other reviewers recommended Main Street Auto in Kent. In fact, I've never heard a bad word about Main Street Auto. Unfortunately, they're always very busy and they don't take Goodyear Credit Card. Flynn has been reasonably priced and has always been very timely. Notably, they are part of the echeck waiver program. If you don't know what I mean by that, then it's irrelevant to you. If you have failed echeck (or fail in the future), then an auto repair facility that's part of the echeck waiver program could potentially be very helpful. I'm not saying you should definitely take your car to Flynn's for repair or for new tires, but I recommend putting them on your short list to consider if you need those services and are in the Kent area.

The service person Jordan was one of the best communicators. He went over the list of issues and spoke extensively with us by phone about all the parts we would need to repair, in order to make it safe on the road. When we told him we decided to give up on repairing it, he even referred us to the Salvage Company who towed the car. I have always preferred Conrads. They will tell you the whole story on any car issues and let you decide what you can or cannot fix. I appreciate their careful attention to detail.
