I came here in November to get my brakes done no more than two days later the brakes were still squeaking even worse than before. I reported this to the company 3-4 times already. No response back, no effort to make things right but they had no problem taking $900 from me. The brakes have continued to get worse and the car is so loud when I brake and back up especially in the mornings. It was not like this before. Pontiac was great at explaining to me the different options for tires for my truck, including what I currently had on replace versus other sizes and options. After discussing these with him, I decided to schedule an appointment to come back a few days later to get my four tires done on my truck. Pricing was great. Service was great. They were very efficient. They promised me a time that they would be done and they completed it within that timeframe. Though they may not always be the cheapest shop in town, yet they are always the best bang for your buck. They stick to the job at hand, don't push to upsell you, and are efficient. All of these things warrant them 4 stars for solid and consistent work. What puts them at 5 stars? Getting air in my tires. Both of our cars have seem to need air in them at least every few months. Whether it's a low key time 3 pm on a Tuesday or the busiest of times of 10 am on a Saturday, they seem to always have a tech who is willing to pause what they are doing to come out and fill our tires, for free! Yes, free. They don't even expect a tip (though we of course tip them). They are always nice about it and are comfortable at the small talk whether it's me or the hubby. Came in for tires and oil service and alignment as a walk in. They told me 3 hours it would be done I planned for 4 1/2. Now 5 hours later nothing is completed. I had to schedule services for another day later another week I just need tires changed now. Completely unacceptable. I am so grateful to this Firestone. Management is super kind, & all the workers do a great job and work hard. I have come here for an oil change and also got a new set of tires at their last sale (sale happens every quarter). I also come to get my air in tires checked every few months. Today Miguel helped me, and he totally rocks! It turns out all my tires were super low- 26, 27, and 28 when they should all be 32. With the weather change, tires can get low and dangerous when doing long distances. I came by because I have to drive a long way for a future trip and was worried about my tire pressure. I always feel safe and confident after leaving this place. Note: Previously I was going to my dealer where I got my car but the last time I was there they messed up the baseboard of my car, due to not hooking the screws properly. I found out when driving on the highway and heard a scraping noise. Finding a good car place is like finding a good partner or therapist or hair stylist. Once you find a good location with honest people, you hold onto them. I want this Firestone to know I have been to many car locations in my lifetime, and they are the best. I like Firestone. The one in Palm Springs was always nice to work with. This location is nice. The staff I personally spoke with were very nice. However, the young dude working on my vehicle moves with the urgency of a half-dead tree sloth., and that's a generous assessment. I don't think I have ever seen someone so disinterested and disconnected from their job as much as this guy. In all honesty, I wanted to give a better review. We were at a horse show and noticed a tire on the trailer wasn't going to make it back. We called all the tire stores in Temecula and everyone had a 3 to 5 hour wait. To change out one tire that was already off the trailer. Ryan at Firestone was fantastic from the moment I called to check if they have the tire in stock. After picking up the car and paying, the check battery warning light came up which resulte in another $800 charge. Between Lawrence, David, Les, Angela, and even "Sunshine" (my given nickname for him) Lee, they are incredible! I had a nail in the front tire so my girlfriend made a appointment to have fixed. I have a lifetime alignment with Firestone and have taken multiple vehicle for rotation and alignment. Tech looked at tire and told her we need to replace the tire that the nail was to close to edge. She called me and I told her to leave and do not have them touch anything. SCREW THIS PLACE. I make an appointment for 3pm for an oil change and tire rotation. I'm waiting outside for almost an hour and a half and my car is still sitting out in the parking lot, hasn't even been touched yet. I go inside and tell the guy screw it because I had other things I had to get done since I'm very busy. He said, "oh well come back tomorrow and we'll hook you up". Whatever that means. So I give this place another chance, come back the next day.
