Then they tried to bait and switch my bed. After a few failed attempts with them to cancel the order, I reported them as fraud to my credit card company, who returned my money in November. This is gonna be a lengthy post, but BUYERS BEWARE! Do not buy from here unless you want mediocre furniture and terrible customer service. They market their business to seem legit and promising, but this furniture company is sketchy at best. My first real furniture purchase was from here & we got the Australian sofa. Fast forward a year later, and I noticed several ppl on Facebook market place were selling their Australian sofa. I wondered why their sofa looked slightly different from mine, better even. The fabric looked more like linen, so I checked Valyou furniture's website so see what the material is supposed to be- and it says "100% Polyester Linen". Tell me why my sofa looks nothing like linen? So after calling their customer service and explaining the situation, all they could tell me was "Sorry, but it's past our 14-day policy." He kept telling me that next time I decide to purchase from them, I should check the showroom to see what to expect before making a purchase. Okay, but WE DID check the showroom, & I still didn't get what I expected. But my fault for not noticing until a year later that we received a different fabric. My only gripe is that they explained the fabric of their Australian Sofa has never changed, which brings me to my complaint- what did I even receive? How did they send me a sofa that doesn't/shouldn't even exist? And why are they not willing to correct a manufacturer's error? The best they can offer me is that if I purchase from them again, MAYBE they could offer me a discount & that they would ensure the furniture I order is correct? With that type of response, it's obvious that they do not VALYOU their customers at all! They should be ensuring quality control with or without a customer complaint. Normally, I really want to be supportive of small/local businesses, which is actually why we bought our sofa here instead of Costco. It was probably the worst customer-service experience I had in my life. Delivery was late, customer service did not stay in touch, I spent hours on the phone trying to get information about when it would be delivered. After calling a bunch, I got it delivered about a month late. Then, the sofa broke about 3 weeks after it was delivered even though it was barely used. They sent people out to look at the sofa and the people confirmed that the sofa was broken (a wooden support bar on the bottom of the sofa bent downwards and cracked even though no one in my house weighs more than 145 lbs.) Anyway, they wouldn't give us a refund and it was a terrible experience. Now we have a broken sofa. If anyone wants it lmk lol EDIT: After I wrote this yelp review, Valyou emailed several times me and asked about my order. I told them honestly that it just upset me more that I had so much trouble speaking to anyone when I needed customer service help, but as soon as I wrote a negative yelp review they found time to send me several emails in one day. Also, they did offer to exchange my product but I did not want to exchange the product since I did not have the time or energy to deal with their customer service again. I needed a specific size for my new place AND they took care of delivery into my space. Stoked. Delivery was quick too - I think I reached out to Maria on a Thursday/Friday, and my couch was delivered the following Tuesday. The tracking feature was also super helpful. The night before, you're emailed a link with an accurate ETA and the day of delivery I received a courtesy call 15-20 minutes prior to their arrival. I opted to put together the couch myself but found that there was a part that wasn't working properly. I let Maria know and she had someone come back to take a look the following day or day after (very quick). Again, I was sent a tracking link and received a courtesy call 15-20 minutes prior to their arrival. I can't recall the names of the people who delivered my couch and came to replace the one section - but they were all very friendly. I have changed this review considerably to account for what I learned was my mistake and customer service that really was much better than one typically gets in online retail. There were some initial hiccups, and I felt that I had been inadvertently mislead. I was not and customer service explained to me what was in front of me on the site that I had misunderstood, and then helped me anyway. At the company's expense, they split my order up into two shipments. (I offered to pay the extra shipping, and they declined my offer.) A manager picked up fulfillment and everything worked out. Some items are on back order, but that was evident and understandable, and we can live with that. So in the end, the manager worked through MY MISUNDERSTANDING, helped me anyway and left me extremely satisfied with the product and the assistance I received. Last Point: it's the Charm 2.0 bed and it's solid as a rock and as easy to assemble as advertised. This turned out to be a very positive (and somewhat humbling for me) experience. read more

My boyfriend and I have been looking for a very specifically sized sectional, and we found the perfect one at Valyou. Not only that, but a coffee table as well -- all for just $675, which included the $90 delivery fee we opted for. A very fast, easy experience overall! Valyou definitely takes precautions to make you feel safe in the showroom. There's a temperature check, hand sanitizer, and they even have you walk through what looks like a metal detector that sprays you with a light disinfecting mist. The women at the showroom were very helpful, but unfortunately our sectional was out of stock in the color we wanted. We looked online the next morning just for fun and saw the blue sectional was back in stock -- so we got the last one! After ordering on a Sunday, I got a text confirming our order followed by another text confirming delivery for Tuesday. This one included a link to track our order. Just two days later we would have our new furniture! On Tuesday, the day of the delivery, the tracking link was very detailed -- it gives you a large window of possibility, but it also gives you a more precise ETA along with the number of stops before yours, updating in real-time along the way. Our ETA was 1:18 p.m., and our delivery was completed just before 2 p.m.! So it's pretty accurate. Delivery folks were fast and professional. I didn't pay for the in hone set up, but the furniture was easy enough to put together. We are so happy with our purchase and definitely recommend Valyou! Furniture in Hawaii is so expensive, and you can get nice pieces without having to wait forever at Valyou. read more

Ordered 2 sofas and 1 queen bed. Shipment arrived late after repeated phone calls/daily followup and damaged, extremely dirty ( shipper's fault maybe). 1 of the 2 sofas missing from the shipment. Customer service was well aware of the delayed shipping and state of shipment even before it was delivered. Everything was nicely wrapped in cling film when you look from the outside, it is what it is when you un wrap... I understand that there are logistics challenges when shipping furniture cross-country, but valyou does not go above and beyond or even meets expectations. Still waiting for replacement and shipping ETA for missing sofa ( yes the 2 whole boxes) from the logistics team ( the logistics that never calls you inspite of repeated promises from customer service) . This place was recommended to me by a coworker/friend. I stopped by their showroom and they had some of the most inexpensive new furniture around (inexpensive, but not "cheap"). The materials and construction of the sectional I purchased seem very solid. Only one small critique, they don't currently offer a protection/insurance service outside of their standard warranty. So things like rips, stains, etc. will be all on you. I would've paid a good couple hundred dollars over asking price if they offered a service to repair/replace items as needed.
