While visiting the area we stopped here for dessert! The store itself was cute and trendy, and the workers were very friendly! We were able to sample a variety of flavors prior to selecting. We each got the single scoop option, which was plenty! While we felt the pricing was a little high, overall we did really enjoy this sweet treat, and would consider coming back again if in the area!

Came here for a yelp event and am so glad I did. How did I not know about this amazing spot. Such a sweet treat to have after a long week or stressful workday. They have many options and even have some gluten free/vegan choices! The Honeycomb and brownie was to die for. I loved how they had such unique flavors! The guy working at the front was helpful and friendly. The store itself was very clean with a few seating options inside as well as around the mall. They even have prepackaged ice cream options if you want to take some home. So glad that Van Leeuwen did not disappoint. Definitely plan on coming back! Overall 5/5

We came to Van Leeuwen's on a Saturday early afternoon. They offered a two-scoop Yelp Event for me but of course I had to bring the family too 'cuz ice cream is life! lol It's in a really cute shopping center and cute outdoor seating. It was a really warm day so the place was poppin'. The guy behind the counter was really nice and our group of four he served samples with a smile. What we swallowed: *HONEYCOMB: Simple with great bits of honeycomb. *BLACK CHERRY CHIP: This came recommended from the employee and it was so tasty! I really loved this flavor! * COOKIES & CREAM: My go-to favorite and this had super big chunks of cookies and really, really creamy! I loved it! *LEMON SORBET: Ohhh! Pucker up! If lemon is your thing, this will definitely be your jam! Tarty and refreshing! *BROWN SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH BROWNIE: This was a really good one too, lots of flavor and chunks of cookie dough brownie. My two girls were fighting over this one. The ice cream was great, service was great, it was a really fun experience. We enjoyed sitting outside on all the cool chairs and people watching while we enjoyed the great ice cream. Check it out!

Swung in for a Yelp event. Loved the cookies and cream and special summer berry flavor! Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a small area and they don't have a million flavors, but they have a vegan one and some toppings! One improvement I would say is to spice up your menu displays a bit! I found the small words hard to read and thought some color or different fonts would be cheerful. Otherwise it was a fantastic dessert and I'll come on back next time I'm around!

This was some seriously good ice cream. Expensive, but definitely a case of you get what you pay for and every bite tasted like quality. We took my son for ice cream the other night when we were at the 29th St. concert series. He endedseries he ended up getting (maybe blueberry cheesecake ice cream- my husband took him in) which is typically not my favorite, but it was excellent ice cream. My husband ended up going back and getting us a black cherry sundae to split and it was also really good although after a little while it did get to be a little bit much for me I appreciated the fact that they used high-quality maraschino cherries in the Sunday that really made it special.

Saw this cute little ice cream shop in a shopping mall, can't wait to try it, they're generous with samples, I asked for the best seller, the staff said honeycomb, it's too sweet for me, so I opted for the other best seller, the earl grey tea which's so rich in the tea taste , it definitely my cup of tea.

We had ice cream for dinner and it was delicious! When we walked in, Andy, who was the solo employee while we were there, was cleaning the shop. He greeted us and gave us time to look at the menu which was great since it was my first visit. I immediately found my favorite ice cream flavor and another to try: mint chip and dark chocolate fudge brownie. The chocolate was creamy and balanced so you could taste the dark chocolate and the sweet goodness. The mint chip, my husband and I both agreed, was possibly the best mint chip we've had. The chips were big enough to crunch and taste while still getting the flavors of the ice cream. The mint is sweet and the ice cream, well, creamy! My husband ordered the vanilla bean with salted caramel sauce. This was one of the best vanillas that I've had. Vanilla and oh so creamy goodness with a pop of salted caramel to delight the mouth! Andy was gracious and friendly. He's worked there a year so I think that's a good sign. Right after we walked in he had a long line of customers and since it's quite a small space, we took our ice cream to a shady spot outside. There is a gender neutral restroom with a contactless soap dispenser ms hand dryer which is great for sticky ice. Team hands! We will definitely return!

Baby this is the spot! Come here for the most delicious vegan and dairy ice cream of your life! Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is relatively new to the Denver area and I've been curious about the buzz. It did not disappoint! All flavors are packed with yummy mix-ins. The person who helped us provided recommendations and let us sample many flavors before making a decision. There were chunks of berries, cheesecake, cookies, jelly swirls, chocolate chunks - all so tasty! The ice cream shop itself is super cute - it's all pink and pastel colored. You could definitely have a cute insta photo shoot inside. I really appreciated was the large selection of vegan ice cream and vegan toppings! Vegan ice cream is also kept in a separate freezer so there is no risk of contamination. All allergens are clearly marked and there is also gluten free vegan and dairy options. I will be back! I may even take a pint home next time!

I miss this place, wish their Earl Grey flavor was sold at Walmart too. Love their honeycomb candy topping. I love this company for all their experimental flavors . I wish they had more locations in the US cause this would be my fave ice cream shop to go to. Just a cute small shop, they have very little seating inside. Theres a grab n go fridge where you can purchase pint ice cream or ice cream sandwiches to take home too.

Best. Ice cream. Ever! I love the honeycomb flavor and want to get it again. The person serving me was really nice and recommended flavors for me to try since it was my first time at this chain. The interior is also super cute and pink - very eye catching.

Great ice cream! Earl grey was light and refreshing. Cookie n cream was thick and creamy. There's a few special flavors that you don't find elsewhere. Definitely worth the try!

Good ice cream store in Boulder. Also probably open the latest out of all of them? Besides this place I don't think any others are open until 10 pm on weekdays. We checked this store out and tried the black cherry chip, honey comb, pumpkin cheesecake, and blueberry short cake. The black cherry and blueberry short cake were awesome and would totally have those ones again. The other two flavors were decent but not mind blowing. The store was clean and had a cute atmosphere. I really liked the seating. We went on a Wednesday night around closing and the one person there was super nice and really helpful even though we were there late. I'm rating 4 stars because the flavors weren't amazing and I was expecting a lot since I keep seeing this name popping up everywhere as being an awesome ice cream shop. Also I think the prices are pretty expensive even for gourmet ice cream and in Boulder. I also feel like they had too many flavors and sometimes that's a good thing but I didn't feel that way here. Overall would maybe visit again if I happened to be on 28th street shopping or something and I really wanted ice cream, but besides that not sure if I would drive all the way over to get it.
