Unethical and Dishonest and Deceptive business practices. One of those bait and switch Auto Dealerships. Wife told me to stop before going to the real dealership I was headed too. Had online price which even had calculator on what your payment would be out the door. Spent 2 hours there and right before my daughter was going to sign.... there was $4000.00 of aftermarket fees! What! Told them no. Finance Manager left. Games started. Ivan tells us this happens all time don't worry if you squawk loud enough they'll take it off. I did. I was pissed they wasted two hours and took all of my daughters personal information. During the credit process they said 5%...then came back said she didn't have credit so 11% rate. (btw at real dealership we went too not on Van Nuys Blvd they approved her immediately for the low interest rate because SHE DID HAVE CREDIT...straight out lie!). Now Back to the games and lying... Finance staff came back and said they were going take some off. I said no and walked out. IVAN, the FINANCE STAFF and the GENERAL MANAGER should be FIRED. Dealership should clear house and get new staff and leadership. How is this being a good community business member and taking care of the citizens? I'm hoping as many people read this as possible so they don't get ripped off. They are taking advantage of people by sticking them with unnecessary fees. I was lucky and walked out. I know others don't and end up with unnecessary high interest rates and fees they have to pay for many years. No insincere responses from this company is needed. If you have the same experience write the Los Angeles New Car Dealership Association, NBC, KCAL, other dealerships on Van Nuys Blvd, City of LA Mayor and Director of Economic Development, Russell Westbrook, State Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and more. The reviews are true! I came to this location twice. I should have known from the start of this whole thing. I called, the girl didn't know how to look up a car by stock # or vin #. Then assigns me to Rene, nice guy. I come in to see the car I wanted, it was located in another lot. So we go to the other lot. The car was still in ship mode, so morning worked. He couldn't get the tech to unlock the car until later on and I had to leave. This is now 5pm. I made an appointment for the next day, today at 11 am. I get 4 calls from Judy and a text from Judy telling me to come in and to see her. I told her I'm working with Rene. Patty called me this morning to confirm the appointment I get there, drive 45 minutes to have Rene tell me that they sold the car I wanted and would I be interested in another car. I usually don't post reviews but I had a Phenomenal experience here and would like to share. My warning light came on my Jeep so I was close by and pulled in. They were extremely busy with a lot of cars. Went in and couple people were waiting. I was greeted immediately and told they will be right with me. I said no problem and than they offered water while I wait along with to the others waiting. A couple minutes go by and a young man walks out of the office and asks us if we have been helped and also offered us water while we wait. I think he was the service manager. Another young man named Eddie assisted me and when he saw the warning light he said not to worry it's the tire pressure light and took the car to the back and fixed it while I wait. 20 minutes later I was on my way back to my day. I owned many different brands of cars and never had service like this. I love my Jeep and will only come here for service. read more

First review I've made I was looking into purchasing a grand Cherokee upland. However things didn't go as planned. Approached the dealership with an approved loan stated that the website said the vehicle was 35k. They tried to sway me to purchase the vehicle with there financing and they can make it work but if not vehicle would come out to 42k. Spoke with the Main boss there not sure of his name no hospitality he stated that he was giving me a great price and i couldn't find it cheaper then 42k and also stated that this is a very expensive car what do i expect. Not great what so ever. However didn't discourage me from looking I knew I could find one cheaper and did. Sooo up to you every one is different. I purchased a 2016 jeep patriot here and the transaction only went through because I fell in love with the car.. most definitely NOT the treatment I received while there. I went into look at a jeep patriot because my car was totaled. I went in at 6pm, thinking it'll be less crowded and it'll be a quicker trip. Boy, was I wrong. Edwin was helping me. He wanted to show me a few other jeeps and said sure, since I've never had one and was open to exploring my options. We wasted at least two hour looking at cars out of my price range (which I informed him of in the beginning), trying to persuade me to lease, and waiting for keys to test drive. It was the holiday weekend and they had a crazy sale, so I won't blame the keys - waiting on him. I also told him I didn't want leather seats, and he tried to push them on me because of their "higher resale". The whole appointment was him not listening to my needs. To top it off, when Raid, in finance , came over he was also trying to push the lease. At that point, it was about 9ish (3 hours later) and I was super irritated. Nevertheless, we found the perfect jeep for me (without leather). When I went to the finance guy, Hady, to draw up paperwork (about a half hour after I agreed to buy). I'm exhausted at this point because I was overall annoyed by the time wasted just "looking" and I was ready to leave. He kept pushing the Gap coverage and extended warranty. I explained I understood the value but I was just not interested. I said I'd been through this process a few times before, I know how it goes and I don't want it. He, very clearly, became irritated with me at that point and the rest of my time there was so uncomfortable. The whole process was uncomfortable and I didn't leave until 1020ish. I wish I could say I'm done with those three, but Im still waiting on my driver's license! Edwin didn't give me my license back after he made a copy (clever trick to prevent customers from walking out...) and I forgot to ask for it back when I left (because it was so late) and he clearly forgot to give it to me. Well... it's been a week and he just got around to mailing it after I asked for the 3rd time about my license. So I've been driving around without a license and unable to go out this weekend because I don't have ID (not the end of the world but a serious annoyance) I'd go into the dealership but it's in Van Nuys and I live in Alhambra and I'm not wasting more gas and traffic time on an error that wasn't my fault. Overall, I'm only giving this place 2 stars because I did find a great car at a great price (only because I self advocated because they were ready to rob me blind). I've bought 3 cars prior to this and helped my brother by his and I have never felt so uncomfortable throughout the car buying experience. I should've just went to the Alhambra Jeep dealership because at least when I told them I bought a jeep and wouldn't make it to their appointment, they cheerfully congratulated me and said I'm welcome to their service shop anytime. If I could give this place - stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible! There's no organization no appointments needed so lines for service on the weekend in the morning is a disaster. They don't call or let you know of what's happening with your car or what else it needs, nothing! I was waiting to get help next and a customer was arguing with one of their employees, talking about a part that his car needed and that they supposedly "had it" they just needed time to fix it and the customer asked to see the part and the employee kept making excuses, knowing damn well they didn't have the part that was supposedly needed, lying to the customer! Like just be straight up and tell them you don't have it! Then the manager or idk who the hell he was, was texting doing nothing, and then suddenly got up to say loudly to the employees that they had to do something because there was a 4 and half hour wait. Ridiculous, that's what this place is. My car is a Jeep Compass 2017 and I ONLY took it for an oil change and tire rotation at 8am, I had to go there around 1pm to see my car was already ready to go and they NEVER called to let me know when it was ready, the guy who originally helped me, went home sick and the other workers there somehow didn't fucking call either like how????? Fucking idiots there man. At the end we were quoted a very high price and decided to sleep on the offer. When we made it to the Russel Westbrook Chrysler dealership, we got everything we asked for. If I could rate this place no stars I would. Dealing with the service department has been a nightmare. I had a service appt a week ago; my car has been there ever since. I have not received a single call from the service advisor assigned to my vehicle. I called him (Vahe/Eddie) on Monday and left a voicemail. Only after I reached out did he return my phone call. He had no information to provide me about the status of my vehicle. He claimed they still didn't know what was wrong with my vehicle and they were going to replace a sensor but if that didn't fix the issue that they would contact Jeep and see how Jeep wanted to proceed. (Huh?) He told me he would call me back. SURPRISE! It's been 2 days and still haven't heard from him. My mom called and left a message for the Service Manager Mike A.; and he also hasn't called her back. She left a message for the Customer Relations Manager Michael G. and he never returned the call either. Spoke to a woman who said she was an assistant to the service department who said she would talk to the Shop Foreman and get back to me. She never called back either. I told her I would call by 5 this evening to get an update if I didn't hear from her. I called back, the call was answered and I was put on hold immediately (no human actually said anything). As I was on hold, I called from a different number and the call was answered almost immediately. The employee who answered, Alan Jones was the ONLY helpful person I've spoken to during this entire debacle. He said he was going to find out what was going on with my car and call me back. He actually did but unfortunately because of Vahe/Eddie's lack of collaboration with his colleagues and both he and the technician working on my vehicle being out today, he couldn't get an update on my vehicle. NO ONE seems to have an answer to what is wrong with my vehicle and the customer service at this location is severely lacking. It seems to be apparent that I am being avoided on all levels and it is completely unacceptable. We have multiple Jeeps in the family that are serviced here. We will no longer be coming to this dealership for service and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!!! I've recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler from your location with a Salesman named Bebo. After doing some research, I realized I overpaid for this vehicle. I've asked a bunch of other salesman about the sale and they agreed whoever worked the deal ripped me off more than a couple thousand of dollars. I put FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS down, for a $38k car. I have a monthly payment of $711 which seems quite ridiculous after learning that I could've pulled out in a Rubicon or Sahara for the same price. Every time I walk into your dealership, NO ONE wants to help, everyone wants to rush me out and no one in your finance department wants to take the time to break down where my money went. To my understanding, whoever sold me the car made a $2k commission off of me. I have been doing some research in contacting your boss to get a resolution. There's just no way with a 750 credit score and 5k down that I should be paying this much. Now I won't even get a response from the dealership when I call, or even when I come into the store they act like they don't have my information and things have been "archived". Very unprofessional. All of them have been friendly and helpful BUT here at Westbrook was the first time I felt completely valued and respected. They did everything they said they were going to do and went several steps further with helpful suggestions for future services including ideas for present and future savings on service. I did not feel one bit pressured or pushed into things that I didn't need or want. I don't like leaving negative reviews unless my experience at a facility really bothered me. I had been reached out to by this location online. They sent an automatic approval email based on my credit score. I inquired of the approval email and asked for clarification. They told me to fill out more documents to assure approval. After being told again I approved, I sent a message asking if I were able to come in and leave with the specific car I was "approved" for. I asked if they could use all my info to check with banks for loans. They told me they would find out. I asked them to not waste my time. I wasn't going to come in and be told no to financing for all this trouble. They told me that I 100 percent approved for the car I wanted. Surprise, they lied. How can you trust any company that lies to your face. They said no bank could approve it? Wait, Bobby! Bobby told me no banks approved after I have emails and messages that they checked with a bank? So I purchased a 2007 jeep commander overland in 2017. Since I've purchased it I have been having problems. I purchased it for $7000 and have put in another $5000 and counting. And I'm just over it!!!! I ended purchasing a warranty since I was having so many problems with it. I took my jeep to Russell westbrook Cdjr and was helped by a wonderful friendly service tech named Alex . Now, I have to be honest I was irritated and frustrated so I did have a bit of an attitude with him BUT he kept it professional and was very polite . I ended up getting my alternator replaced because it was draining my battery. 1 week later I'm back at the dealership because my battery is still being drained. This time I worked with Eddie he was also amazing!!!! Even though I was frustrated he was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions (even the ridiculous ones) with a smile and said he would get back to me . It only took 2 days and he called me back to let me know it was my regulator but I had already cancelled my warranty so the $195 for diagnostic would be my responsibility which I really didn't have the $195. As I was standing there waiting to pay Eddie said "Dont worry about it, I won't charge you " Now, that was music to my ears!!!! So, whomever is in charge of giving raises Alex and Eddie both deserve one for their A+ customer service and professionalism read more

BEWARE !!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE!! LIARS! -- KNOWINGLY SOLD ME A LEMON AND WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT -I have never written a review for anything. I work in hospitality and I am fully aware that people are more likely to write a bad review than a good one. Nevertheless, I am falling into that category because I feel absolutely compelled to do so. -I purchased a used SUV from them and had it looked at by an independent mechanic before hand. He spotted a transmission fluid leak and advised that it be taken care of before considering buying the car. I worked out a deal that on the DUE BILL the leak be fixed as a stipulation of the purchase. -After a week of driving the car, the "fixed" leak was bogus and it was leaking again. Took the car back. They had it for a WEEK and said they fixed it. --Again it was bogus and the leak continued. The leak caused my transmission to overheat and destroyed it, costing me $3,000 to rebuild and they won't do anything about. They knew about the issue and lied about it. -The SERVICE MANAGER, CARL lies to my face that he cares and will assist but is giving me the run around. They lie through their smiles and unfortunately are the typical dealer sleazes that have become cliché. --I came to them in good faith over a month ago to go 50/50 with me on the repairs since I understand it is used. Carl told me he would talk to the GM and get back to me in a few days. After checking in twice, a month later I have still not heard from him. I physically went to the dealer and found Carl in the lobby and confronted him and he told me he hasn't had a chance to talk to the GM, when I just spotted the GM in an office 50 feet away. --They'll do anything they can to weasel you.. This dealership is a joke! I came in here wanting to test drive a car, before arriving I went onto their site and received a pop up that states come in and test drive the new Chrysler 200 and receive a $25 gift card. I said to myself ok, cool I am coming in anyways. Upon arrival there was NO ONE available to assist so I waited. Then a "manager" comes on by, I tell him what I am looking for and sends someone over. He introduces the salesman to me as a "Chrysler 200 specialist". I was excited, now I can ask questions about the differences. I come to find out that he was new and has no idea about the differences in the models. He was a really nice guy but you would think they would want him to sell and train him. He finally brings over a car to test drive, I get into the car and notice the air pressure tires are on and there is no gas. I asked why would they leave it this way and he said, I don't know! I couldn't really test drive the car the right way and was told this is the only one left on the lot. I was very disappointed. Since this is a new car on the market I expressed my concern and asked if they air pressure comes out fast, or is this a known issue. He stated that they probably just didn't fill it up correctly. Great way to sell a car! Anyways, we waited for at least 30 min for them to put gas and air in the tires and what do you know suddenly another similar car appears to test drive. SURPRISE! This car also didn't have good tire pressure and the screen was glowing red. After the test drive my husband came to ask some questions about the differences and it seemed as no one knew the difference. I was told that there are blind side detectors in the C class which was not the case either. In the mean time the salesman gave the General Manager my Amazon notice so he can enter it in the system. Waited another half an hour for him to tell me to go online and redeem, which clearly was not the case and stated that on the piece of paper. Finally some other guy comes over and in a very cocky way states if you are serious about the car lets talk numbers. I asked if he can answer my questions about the car and he didn't know either. He basically said to me in other words that I am not serious and kind of blew us off. I decided I need to take my business somewhere else. A couple of days later I emailed the General Manager Ed about the Amazon Gift card and my experience there. It has been 2 weeks and he hasn't even responded to me. I then get an email survey from the dealership, signed by Ed so I replied and still no response. This whole experience was a complete joke. The whole dealership seems unorganized and like their employees really didn't care what was going on there. I have purchased many cars in my life and this was by far the worst experience ever. I would give negative stars if possible to their service department. Had a Saturday appt - when dropping off my car I was told that I'd get a call at 2:30 or 3:00 with a status - that never happend. I called at 3 and 3:30 and 4 PM - reaching an answering machine - no one called me back. They Close At 5 SO I went over and got there at 4:300 - I was told the couldn't replicate my problem (it will not pass a smog check) so I asked it passed? No - they say, we do not know what's wrong with it???? What did the computer readings/codes say I ask - I was then told Saturday is the worst day to come in as they only have 3 jr. mechanics working - WTH? I ask if they even looked at my car and could I see what was done/tried? They gave me a print out with a typed in message "could not replicate issue". What horrible customer service and colossal waste of my time!! Never go there. read more

Service department for the most part has a total lack of service geared towards good customer service. There are a few gentlemen there who obviously want to provide good customer service, but the majority and overriding service level is as if they are doing you a favor to service your car. This review is about the service department. I'd like to begin with the moment I set the appointment. I spoke with a nice gentleman on the phone about coming in to check out the check engine light on my car. I prefaced the booking of the appointment by asking if it was a busy day and if I could get a response with the issue of the car the day I brought it in. The gentleman on the phone stated "yes of course we can get a diagnostic of the engine light today, we may not be able to fix the issue today but definitely get you an answer". This was an acceptable answer, and I decided to drive out from Culver City since he promised me a diagnostic of the issue. (I brought the car in at 11:15am, per my appointment time) This is where everything went downhill. I was assigned to Tony. He said that "they wouldn't be able to get to it today since they were so busy." Of course this response aggravated me since this was not the conversation I had over the phone. After I left I called the service manager, understandably upset. The service manager on the phone sympathized and said he would expedite the process and give me a call back with an update.... This never happened. Around 4:45 tony gives me a call back, saying they were unable to diagnose the issue and he would call me tomorrow before noon to give me an update. Noon rolls around, no call. I can continue going on and on about this specific issue but the point has been made. I picked up my car today and I noticed the sign saying "we do not wash the customer car unless specifically requested due to the draught" upon receiving my car it was filthy since they left it out in the rain. At this point I did not want to spend another second in this establishment so I left. Point of the matter is FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR CLIENTS WHEN YOU SAY YOU WILL. If you dirty your clients car while repairing it, CLEAN IT. Don't hide behind a veil of "there's a draught, when it's really about saving on labor". This will be the first and last time I take my car here. I'll be sure that contact Chrysler as well regarding this poorly ran dealership. -5 stars if I could. read more

I took in my Dodge Ram 2500 diesel for an oil change. There was a recall so i asked for that to be done also. As i stood there with the service advisor, Vahe G, took a "reader" to my truck and came back suggesting I get a new air filter cabin filter, have my brake fluid changed out, my fuel injector serviced and said my tires were wearing in the front so they should be rotated. My bad because i confused balancing tire with alignment and used the term alignment...my truck has 22,000 and change in it. Due to the fact i am not an expert nor very knowledgable in car service i was sold a bunch of stuff i didn't need! The total for my services was $989.86. Boy was i taken advantage of. My husband was pretty angry with Russell Westbrook service dept. Took to the company i worked for mechanic (who did my oil change in June 2019 - a certified chrysler dodge mopar mechanic and he agreed all i needed was an oil change and tire rotation. My husband and i went back to service dept asking for money back the offered money off next service... as if i will ever go back there again! I...ALL I WANTED WAS A FREAKING OIL CHANGE! Bought a ram 1500 Laramie ... Love the truck I absolutely hate the sales service and service center . They did everything possible to sell me the truck and that was great . I got a good deal , however they didn't fill the paper work correctly and I didn't get my plates till almost 11 months in . I called and they never returned my calls . The service department is way too slow . 2hours for an oil change ? My advice is buy a car from here but not scheduled maintenance and hope you never have to come back ....... read more

Shady business Started with Sale Rep Danny Florez, after doing the car buying dance we sat down to crunch numbers. I was trading in an old model car and priced out the value on Kelly Blue Book. I walked in knowing the approx value and how much I wanted/needed for trade in. Danny ran a CarFax report claiming my car was 5 years older, had 2 previous owners , was repainted and was sold to me with 80k+ miles on it. I purchased the car brand new and knew this couldn't be true for many reasons. Danny swore this data was accurate and he claimed this was verified by Joseph Mansour in the finance office. They offered me only $1000, considerably less than KBB and their first quote. I went home upset and in shock. I purchased my own CarFax and KBB report showing singular ownership (mine) and the correct year of the car. I guess they thought I was stupid or too cheap to buy my own report. I went back the next day with my reports and confronted Danny who seemed flustered and uncomfortable. He went into recovery mode spouting some ridiculous story of mistyped numbers. They worked to get me into the car I was interested in but under no circumstances would I ever buy anything from this dealership. Deception seems to be the culture there. In hindsight I recall the other sales guys on the floor smirking and chuckling while Danny gave me the "bad news" of my car history. The following week I went to Jeep Glendale, my sales rep Aaron was professional and worked hard to get the payments to my budget. If Danny truly made a mistake (which is doubtful), the fact that my trade-in quote was verified by the finance office just shows incompetence in the operation. Either way bad news. It's because of these types of practices that car sales people get a bad rap and stereotyped. I would steer clear of this location. read more

I bought the car feb .17 . Had a good transaction with 3 of the people sia, Riza, and Max . But today March 2 "sales manager" Gio had called my husband and I to come into the dealership my husband asked may I know what's it regarding he said oh it's good news it's about your finance . We came. my husband got off and spoke to this gio guy he said that the bank wanted another $500 . My husband said I'm not got to give you another dime. I already gave my down payment and I'm not giving you another 500$ figure out how your going to do it with the bank. We then left. My husband called Gio back asking why he was calling and not our sales man. He then said I'm higher than those guys that helped you out. He then threatened to bring in "his Car" today or he was gonna send repo. We came into the dealership again I asked to speak to a manager , gio approached me and said he was the only manager I kept telling him I didn't want to speak to him because he was extremely rude and he had already threatened my husband . Another manager by the name of mooses helped me I was explaining to him the situation and gio had the audacity to interrupt us and talk to moose's while i was speaking to him . I was so mad that he interrupted us and how rude he was that I had to walk out of the situation. Avoid that dealership! Avoid that "salesman GIO" read more

Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful. Many people have horror stories about visiting the wrong shop like me.unfortunately, to find car mechanics who do their job well and charge fair prices was not my experience. I feel I would do a disservice to the public if I Don't let you know this service department at Russell Westbrook takes it upon them selves to pull your car apart without approval of any kind. And expects the customer to pay for it. They are very unethical and they have so many discrepancies with in the service department. If I can get the word out about bad or dishonest service department i would have at least saved some of you a plethora of paperwork, headaches stress. read more
