I purchased a 2016 jeep patriot here and the transaction only went through because I fell in love with the car.. most definitely NOT the treatment I received while there. I went into look at a jeep patriot because my car was totaled. I went in at 6pm, thinking it'll be less crowded and it'll be a quicker trip. Boy, was I wrong. Edwin was helping me. He wanted to show me a few other jeeps and said sure, since I've never had one and was open to exploring my options. We wasted at least two hour looking at cars out of my price range (which I informed him of in the beginning), trying to persuade me to lease, and waiting for keys to test drive. It was the holiday weekend and they had a crazy sale, so I won't blame the keys - waiting on him. I also told him I didn't want leather seats, and he tried to push them on me because of their "higher resale". The whole appointment was him not listening to my needs. To top it off, when Raid, in finance , came over he was also trying to push the lease. At that point, it was about 9ish (3 hours later) and I was super irritated. Nevertheless, we found the perfect jeep for me (without leather). When I went to the finance guy, Hady, to draw up paperwork (about a half hour after I agreed to buy). I'm exhausted at this point because I was overall annoyed by the time wasted just "looking" and I was ready to leave. He kept pushing the Gap coverage and extended warranty. I explained I understood the value but I was just not interested. I said I'd been through this process a few times before, I know how it goes and I don't want it. He, very clearly, became irritated with me at that point and the rest of my time there was so uncomfortable. The whole process was uncomfortable and I didn't leave until 1020ish. I wish I could say I'm done with those three, but Im still waiting on my driver's license! Edwin didn't give me my license back after he made a copy (clever trick to prevent customers from walking out...) and I forgot to ask for it back when I left (because it was so late) and he clearly forgot to give it to me. Well... it's been a week and he just got around to mailing it after I asked for the 3rd time about my license. So I've been driving around without a license and unable to go out this weekend because I don't have ID (not the end of the world but a serious annoyance) I'd go into the dealership but it's in Van Nuys and I live in Alhambra and I'm not wasting more gas and traffic time on an error that wasn't my fault. Overall, I'm only giving this place 2 stars because I did find a great car at a great price (only because I self advocated because they were ready to rob me blind). I've bought 3 cars prior to this and helped my brother by his and I have never felt so uncomfortable throughout the car buying experience. I should've just went to the Alhambra Jeep dealership because at least when I told them I bought a jeep and wouldn't make it to their appointment, they cheerfully congratulated me and said I'm welcome to their service shop anytime. I'll never return to this dealership again. read more

If I could give this place - stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible! There's no organization no appointments needed so lines for service on the weekend in the morning is a disaster. They don't call or let you know of what's happening with your car or what else it needs, nothing! I was waiting to get help next and a customer was arguing with one of their employees, talking about a part that his car needed and that they supposedly "had it" they just needed time to fix it and the customer asked to see the part and the employee kept making excuses, knowing damn well they didn't have the part that was supposedly needed, lying to the customer! Like just be straight up and tell them you don't have it! Then the manager or idk who the hell he was, was texting doing nothing, and then suddenly got up to say loudly to the employees that they had to do something because there was a 4 and half hour wait. Ridiculous, that's what this place is. My car is a Jeep Compass 2017 and I ONLY took it for an oil change and tire rotation at 8am, I had to go there around 1pm to see my car was already ready to go and they NEVER called to let me know when it was ready, the guy who originally helped me, went home sick and the other workers there somehow didn't fucking call either like how????? Fucking idiots there man. Toyota KEYES Van Nuys is honestly the best place to get your car serviced with MUCH BETTER employees working there, obviously if you have Toyota, I NEVER should've gotten a Jeep dude. read more

My family and I headed over to Hamer Toyota to begin our car purchase adventure. We expressed our needs and concerns to the salesmen. The sales team tried to meet them, but fell a little short. At the end we were quoted a very high price and decided to sleep on the offer. When we made it to the Russel Westbrook Chrysler dealership, we got everything we asked for. Joseph, and his twin, Josh, were patient, kind, friendly, and made us feel comfortable. We test drove three cars, each test drive was free from pressure, or, coercion. It was truly a delightful experience to work with each of them. The icing on the cake was working with Jorge in finance. If I could rate this place no stars I would. Dealing with the service department has been a nightmare. I had a service appt a week ago; my car has been there ever since. I have not received a single call from the service advisor assigned to my vehicle. I called him (Vahe/Eddie) on Monday and left a voicemail. Only after I reached out did he return my phone call. He had no information to provide me about the status of my vehicle. He claimed they still didn't know what was wrong with my vehicle and they were going to replace a sensor but if that didn't fix the issue that they would contact Jeep and see how Jeep wanted to proceed. (Huh?) He told me he would call me back. SURPRISE! It's been 2 days and still haven't heard from him. My mom called and left a message for the Service Manager Mike A.; and he also hasn't called her back. She left a message for the Customer Relations Manager Michael G. and he never returned the call either. Spoke to a woman who said she was an assistant to the service department who said she would talk to the Shop Foreman and get back to me. She never called back either. I told her I would call by 5 this evening to get an update if I didn't hear from her. I called back, the call was answered and I was put on hold immediately (no human actually said anything). As I was on hold, I called from a different number and the call was answered almost immediately. The employee who answered, Alan Jones was the ONLY helpful person I've spoken to during this entire debacle. He said he was going to find out what was going on with my car and call me back. He actually did but unfortunately because of Vahe/Eddie's lack of collaboration with his colleagues and both he and the technician working on my vehicle being out today, he couldn't get an update on my vehicle. NO ONE seems to have an answer to what is wrong with my vehicle and the customer service at this location is severely lacking. It seems to be apparent that I am being avoided on all levels and it is completely unacceptable. We have multiple Jeeps in the family that are serviced here. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!!! I've recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler from your location with a Salesman named Bebo. After doing some research, I realized I overpaid for this vehicle. I've asked a bunch of other salesman about the sale and they agreed whoever worked the deal ripped me off more than a couple thousand of dollars. I put FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS down, for a $38k car. I have a monthly payment of $711 which seems quite ridiculous after learning that I could've pulled out in a Rubicon or Sahara for the same price. Every time I walk into your dealership, NO ONE wants to help, everyone wants to rush me out and no one in your finance department wants to take the time to break down where my money went. To my understanding, whoever sold me the car made a $2k commission off of me. I have been doing some research in contacting your boss to get a resolution. There's just no way with a 750 credit score and 5k down that I should be paying this much. Now I won't even get a response from the dealership when I call, or even when I come into the store they act like they don't have my information and things have been "archived". Very unprofessional. This was my first trip to Westbrook but they treated me as if I was a valued returning customer. I've used other Chrysler service centers. All of them have been friendly and helpful BUT here at Westbrook was the first time I felt completely valued and respected. They did everything they said they were going to do and went several steps further with helpful suggestions for future services including ideas for present and future savings on service. I did not feel one bit pressured or pushed into things that I didn't need or want. My wait was about two hours, everyone I met that was employed there was polite, respectful and seemed genially pleased I was there. I don't like leaving negative reviews unless my experience at a facility really bothered me. I had been reached out to by this location online. They sent an automatic approval email based on my credit score. I inquired of the approval email and asked for clarification. They told me to fill out more documents to assure approval. After being told again I approved, I sent a message asking if I were able to come in and leave with the specific car I was "approved" for. I asked if they could use all my info to check with banks for loans. They told me they would find out. I asked them to not waste my time. I wasn't going to come in and be told no to financing for all this trouble. They told me that I 100 percent approved for the car I wanted. Surprise, they lied. How can you trust any company that lies to your face. They said no bank could approve it? Wait, Bobby! Bobby told me no banks approved after I have emails and messages that they checked with a bank? So I purchased a 2007 jeep commander overland in 2017. Since I've purchased it I have been having problems. I purchased it for $7000 and have put in another $5000 and counting. And I'm just over it!!!! I ended purchasing a warranty since I was having so many problems with it. I took my jeep to Russell westbrook Cdjr and was helped by a wonderful friendly service tech named Alex . Now, I have to be honest I was irritated and frustrated so I did have a bit of an attitude with him BUT he kept it professional and was very polite . I ended up getting my alternator replaced because it was draining my battery. 1 week later I'm back at the dealership because my battery is still being drained. This time I worked with Eddie he was also amazing!!!! Even though I was frustrated he was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions (even the ridiculous ones) with a smile and said he would get back to me . It only took 2 days and he called me back to let me know it was my regulator but I had already cancelled my warranty so the $195 for diagnostic would be my responsibility which I really didn't have the $195. As I was standing there waiting to pay Eddie said "Dont worry about it, I won't charge you " Now, that was music to my ears!!!! So, whomever is in charge of giving raises Alex and Eddie both deserve one for their A+ customer service and professionalism read more

From the time I entered the lot I made it clear that I was not going to buy the same day & my salesman Damion respected that by not pressuring me at all which is why I bought the Truck, there were a few issues with the quality of the initial detail and a scratch on the truck, However Eric (The General Manager) took matters into his own hands and had the spray-on Bed liner installed as well as having the truck completely detailed by a third party. With that being said no matter where you buy a car from the chances are there will be issues, it is the customer service and how they deal with them which shows their true character, for instance there was a scratch that could be felt when you put your fingernail on it and they were able to wetsand it, buff, polish, and a thick layer of sealant!!! and that is why I rate Van Nuys Dodge a 5 star rating. I took in my Dodge Ram 2500 diesel for an oil change. There was a recall so i asked for that to be done also. As i stood there with the service advisor, Vahe G, took a "reader" to my truck and came back suggesting I get a new air filter cabin filter, have my brake fluid changed out, my fuel injector serviced and said my tires were wearing in the front so they should be rotated. My bad because i confused balancing tire with alignment and used the term alignment...my truck has 22,000 and change in it. Due to the fact i am not an expert nor very knowledgable in car service i was sold a bunch of stuff i didn't need! The total for my services was $989.86. Boy was i taken advantage of. My husband was pretty angry with Russell Westbrook service dept. Took to the company i worked for mechanic (who did my oil change in June 2019 - a certified chrysler dodge mopar mechanic and he agreed all i needed was an oil change and tire rotation. My husband and i went back to service dept asking for money back the offered money off next service... as if i will ever go back there again! I...ALL I WANTED WAS A FREAKING OIL CHANGE! But today March 2 "sales manager" Gio had called my husband and I to come into the dealership my husband asked may I know what's it regarding he said oh it's good news it's about your finance . We came. my husband got off and spoke to this gio guy he said that the bank wanted another $500 . My husband said I'm not got to give you another dime. I already gave my down payment and I'm not giving you another 500$ figure out how your going to do it with the bank. We then left. My husband called Gio back asking why he was calling and not our sales man. He then said I'm higher than those guys that helped you out. He then threatened to bring in "his Car" today or he was gonna send repo. We came into the dealership again I asked to speak to a manager , gio approached me and said he was the only manager I kept telling him I didn't want to speak to him because he was extremely rude and he had already threatened my husband . Another manager by the name of mooses helped me I was explaining to him the situation and gio had the audacity to interrupt us and talk to moose's while i was speaking to him . Many people have horror stories about visiting the wrong shop like me.unfortunately, to find car mechanics who do their job well and charge fair prices was not my experience. I feel I would do a disservice to the public if I Don't let you know this service department at Russell Westbrook takes it upon them selves to pull your car apart without approval of any kind. And expects the customer to pay for it. They are very unethical and they have so many discrepancies with in the service department. I entered on 8/12/2020 with my boyfriend. Started out waiting to be greeted as no one was around, finally we encountered with Shayan and was not a good visit with him. From the beginning we let him know we were looking around for pricing and deals and not specifically buying just yet. He let us test drive the car and when we came back had the paperwork ready like if we were going to buy. When asking him questions about the pricing on the car he seemed irritated demanding he was giving us the best deal possible which he wasn't as I had already looked online and at other dealers. he asked if we were going to buy the car and we told him we are going to keep looking as we just wanted info and he immediately got up from the cubicle and left without any word. I recently leased a vehicle from Russell Westbrook in December. While the sales person Willy was amazing and did everything to complete the deal and make sure I was happy. Finance on the other hand at that location is garbage. I work at a dealership myself and work in the Finance department so I know the process myself and how important it is to get documents and deals funded especially when a trade is involved much higher priority because of payoff deadlines. I go above for my customers as they are priority. I traded a vehicle and it has been way over a month and it still has not been paid off. It is now going on the 30th day which means it'll ding my credit. I have called over many times to try and get a response from someone and they have not given me an answer. They seem to brush it off of course since they completed a sale I am no longer a priority. I would never go back this location to purchase or lease a vehicle and would not recommend anyone there. I am disgusted by their unprofessionalism when it comes to getting financial documents completed in a timely manner, coming from someone that works in the industry and understands the lingo. read more

I came here because their pricing was lower than average compared to other dealerships. Josh was able to help me pick out the car I wanted and their sales team worked out a deal for me that fit right in my budget. Their sales department is amazing and I have no complaints. However, the service department can be a different story. About a month or so after getting my car, I had an issue with the AC. I took it in and they kept it for a week. I took it in on a Sunday and Oscar was assigned as my advisor. Oscar said he would call me on Tuesday and give me an update. He did not call. Wednesday afternoon came around and I called, they said he was unavailable. Thursday afternoon came and I called again, they said he was working on my car and he would call once he got back to his desk. I did not get a call. I called again Friday and they said he was on lunch and would call when he got back. He did not call. I went Saturday morning in person to see what was going on and luckily Oscar was there. I told him I had been calling but had heard nothing back. He said my car was ready the day before, he just forgot to call me. I didn't get any update from him at any point until I went in person. After that incident, I met Alan and began to schedule my services with him. Alan is super helpful and is always in a good mood. He explains everything well and makes sure you understand what's going on. He's one of the best ones in that service department. Be aware, the service department takes a long time for even basic things like routine maintenance. You'll be waiting for 2-3 hours on a weekend for just an oil change. read more

If you are a writer by trade you should definitely stop by this dealership because this place is the epitome of the 90's sitcom bad car buying experience. Truly life imitating art. I stopped by here on two different occasions and spoke to different people. Both times were laughable in their ability to contradict themselves in under five minutes. We had discussed ordering a Jeep and I said I'm not ready to sign anything right now. After deflecting the salesman's, and later the manager's, hard sales techniques like Neo in The Matrix, the last thing they said to me, after I again said I don't want to sign anything today, was "so you just want to wait longer for your Jeep?"... I said "yeah, I do". Then the manager followed me out the door, and the next thing I know he's talking to a different salesman right behind my car (so I can't back out yet can hear them) saying "that guy was a douchebag!". Is it possible he was talking about someone else, sure. Is it likely, absolutely not...I would much rather spend $10G more for the same Jeep at any other dealership than spend one cent and another second of my time at Russell Westbrook. read more

When I first leased the car Artur was great he was a ton of help and it was a pleasant expierence he no longer works there, what was a lease became a purchase and I didnt even argue or made the price a hassle I simply got the papers signed and made everything a easy process for them I paid over 7k and they didnt even take that in consideration. Moreover when I went to sign all the docs I figured it would take no more then a month to receive the registration and paperwork not only did they run my credit way to many times that it did alot of damage but they also have tooken over 2 months to give that to me and I been messaging and calling them and I assume they think Its ok . My first time was about a month ago and after waiting for a few hours, they told me the car I was looking for had been sold but it had not been updated on their system. Today, I decided to go back and give them another chance. The salesman took us to 3 different lots to find this charger. 2 hours later, it was time to talk about #s. He was adamant about running my credit. I told him before running it, I wanted to know how much was I looking at with the type of credit that I know I have. He assured me I would get a great deal. After he ran my credit and confirmed I did have excellent credit history, he gave me bs that he thought I wanted a cheaper car therefore I had to pay more than what we had agreed on. This rating is exclusively for their service department. I've never dealt with their sales staff or anyone else at this dealership, so I can't speak for them here. I'm only referring to their service department in this review. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. They had our car for weeks and during those few weeks, I must have tried to call them and get through to any service dept. rep at least 20-30 times. Not only was it nearly impossible to get someone on the phone, but the last time I was trying to call them for 25 minutes straight and never got anyone other than an operator on the phone, who could only transfer me. They were not able to fix our car, so we had to have it towed off their lot, and they charged us a fee for diagnosing the problem on the car - even though they couldn't fix it. So they couldn't do their job, and I still had to pay something. And their staff is less than friendly. read more

I have been a long-time and loyal customer of this dealership. I take all of my vehicles for service and even purchased 1 of those vehicles there. I went to get an oil change this morning for which I normally pay $32. The dealership will routinely provide me with an estimate prior to performing the work, something that wasn't done this time around. I told the clerk I don't sign anything without knowing how much I'm going to pay and he then told me the oil change was $59.99. When I asked why the sudden increase in price, he proceeded to feed me some BULLSHIT story about how they use synthetic oil. This dealership recently changed management; Russell Westbrook is a CROOK! I will no longer be going to this dealership. I was in the market to trade in my JEEP Patriot for a Renegade but I will take my business elsewhere. Stay away! read more

Man the amount of stress I've gone through with the "managers" here. I was recently sold a brand new 2021 grand cherokee L overland and it's a lemon. Within 2 months its been in and out of the dealership 3 times due to it not starting. Every time it's taken to the dealership they "fix" it and say I should have absolutely no problems. They claim to want to help me and when I went and spent 4 hours there I left with no solution and them saying "well at least your car is fixed". Well guess what? The car is once again at the dealership for the SAME problem. At this point I started the lemon law process which is time consuming. When it gets taken to the dealership the roadside costs me $160 which I have to pay out of pocket but they insisted they would reimburse me. It's been 3 weeks being promised a check that they sent via "mail" just to find out they never sent it. They want ME to drive 1 hour to the dealership to pick it up. Here I am ready to drive to the dealership when Selena the manager tells me nobody once again is there to sign me a check because they have left. Absolutely no communication was given to me and I waited 3 days after my car stopped turning on to even send it to the dealership because nobody was ever there to sign a check. Why couldn't they sign the check and leave it with a manager on duty so I could pick it up on my time instead of theirs? I have NO idea. I was previously talking to Summer before she stopped working there and although there was no solution at least she had good customer service. Selena on the other hand has horrible customer service. I just got off the phone with her expressing my frustration on why again there is still no check after 3 weeks and 3 days of being told nobody is there to sign me a check and she cut me off, talked back, and tried making me feel stupid for not knowing that they could only cut you a check from 8AM to 5PM. Nobody once told me that. I work and can't just go any time of the day. She made everything absolutely horrible and worse, she literally through gasoline on fire. I am absolutely done speaking to their unprofessional managers here and at this point have to involve an attorney since they don't want to take me serious. I've been so kind and understanding and said "well hey things happen" because I work in customer service myself and these are the consequences, they take you as a joke. He said someone was already buying that car but offered more expensive alternatives. I said thanks anyway but i was set on the initial car I called about. After about 2 hours of phone calls back and fourth saying someone was going to buy the car Marlin and I reached a deal on the initial car because you guessed it someone else didn't end up buying the car. He gave me his word that the agreed on price was what I would be paying for the car plus tax and fees of course. I sent him my info to get the paper work process started. And then the games began once more. His supervisor called and said that even though Marlin promised us that price they couldn't sell it to us for that price. 2 hours of Marlin discussing prices with his manager back and fourth only for him to end up going back on his word. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I can not express enough the horrific service and treatment I receive from the so called "service" department. This place is a joke. I have dealt with Terry, Oscar, Benny... even the service director Roy Cook (and others). Every single one of them treats you like garbage. Like you are a huge inconvenience to them. You can feel the negativity when you walk in. You can stand there for over 30 minutes, and no one greets you. I have had to bring my vehicle in over 8 times in the past 10 months. Repeat issues and repeat excuses. On a lease. I shouldn't be having so many issues on a newly leased vehicle. It's one thing to have car issues, but then to be treated so poorly by the staff on top of the issues?! It's unacceptable. RUDE. I honestly could go into so much more detail, but I've wasted enough time & energy into complaining about these idiots. I hate to give these guys 2 stars because I did recently purchased a used 2008 Jeep Wrangler from them 4 months ago and I have no complaints. I'm giving this place 2 stars because I don't appreciate being lied to specially form a manager telling me come in we can do the deal you want and then just wasting my time. They had ran my credit a day before so no problems there I had seen and test drove the car the day before so no problems there. I'm sure I will end up purchasing another car one day from here because they do have really good prices on used jeeps. read more

I hate it when people waste my time. This dealership sent me an email giving me a lease option, so I walk in and I show them what they emailed me. The car from the email was a demo that was sold already but they told me that they can get me the same car but not the same deal. I told them if it's not going to work do not run my credit; however; they insisted it's going to be fine. We signed all the paperwork and they told me my car is going to be ready the next day but it's been over a week and I still don't have my car. I went to the dealership yesterday and they don't even have copies of the signed deal. Worst dealer experience and a complete waste of time. If you want your time to be wasted, this is the perfect dealership for you. read more
