They replied quickly and we agreed on a time. They specifically said the time worked and they would be here. Then, without any other explanation, they simply said they were booked and couldn't make it. Nothing other than that: no message apologizing, no message saying they're prioritizing rescheduling as soon as possible, nothing. I waited to post this 9+ hours after their last message to see what the owner said, but I've gotten nothing in reply. So while I should at least get an apology, I'm not surprised to see zero accountability. If they can't simply apologize, I'm not sure how they think they can be trusted to do any actual work.

As a result, the system was not performing properly. There was a leak in refrigerant, was short cycling and wound internally shut off, and was not configured properly for zoned system. The existing system was installed when we purchased this house new in 2018 but was contractor grade. Ryan provided a couple of solutions but decided to replace. Very good price for a better quality system. The install techs, Roger and Dom, completed the install today. Very professional and went extra to be sure zone system was functioning properly. Well, I wasn't going to roast in my house all night (luckily no pets or kids live here). So I got on Yelp and found this company, now called Lee's. They had a technician (shout out Diego!) out before 7pm to diagnose the problem. In an hour, he realized that I either had a huge repair or a complete HVAC replacement on my hands. He called his supervisor, who came over within 30 mins. Mind you, it's now 8:30pm on a Saturday. Ray gave me all of my options and did not try to upsell me at all. In fact, he told me I did not need to even consider the two most expensive options, based on my house size and system. He explained everything very carefully and let me ask all the questions I could think of. And he told me that he could have a team at my house at 8am on Sunday (the next day!) to replace my entire HVAC system and it would be done by dinner time. They showed up at 8:04am and were done at 4:20pm. And the most unexpected thing was that Ray lent me his personal portable AC unit so that I could sleep in my house Saturday night and then have a cool room to hang out in while the team did their work. (I don't remember the names of the two men who did that hard work all day Sunday, but massive thank you to them. They put tarps down to protect my floors and they cleaned up everything after they were done.) The warranty comes with a 1-year warranty on labor, 10-years warranty on all of the parts, and for the first year, three complementary inspections. After that first year, for only $140/yr I can continue those three annual inspections (which I will obviously be doing). I now have ice cold AC and I could not be happier with this experience (even though a new HVAC is very expensive but obviously required to live in Vegas). You need HVAC work? These are the people you call.

After she left them for whatever reasons, getting somebody to pick up the phone or respond back to leaving a voice message can be hit or miss, especially during the busier summer months. Don't waste your money to buy their extended warranty because Alpha Air won't be there for you when you really need them for that expensive covered repair job. My AC died during a 100+ degree day, and I called Alpha Air several times and left a message but no answer. I finally decided to just call another AC company that came the same day to fix the problem, but of course, I had to pay out of pocket instead of being able to use the pre-paid warranty. I also had a sick, elderly parent suffering in a sweltering house so I wasn't going to wait for an unreliable company that didn't pick up their phone and will likely just say that they never got my phone call or voice message or that there was a glitch in their system. Alpha Air can do the job well if/when they want to show up so I give them one star for that and one star for Terry who no longer works for them. Based on my recent experience, however, I won't be using Alpha Air anymore and wish we had never paid for their useless extended warranty. They got their extra profit back then, but lost a long-term customer as of now. Businesses that truly deserve all their positive reviews have consistently excellent communication/customer service so they don't have to give after the fact excuses or apologetic explanations.

One of our 3 units quit working in February of 2024 and this company told us we needed it replaced…read more The salesman told us he'd give us 3 smart thermostats for free. We had to call them out after the installation at least 5 times in the two summers after the install because it was blowing hot air when it turned on. They were nice enough to send out techs free of charge but to no avail it is now 2026 and we are still having problems. One of the service calls we were told that there was a clog. Another time we were gaslighted and told that it's the residual hot air from outside but then it cools down. But it could never keep up. We set it for 76 but can only get it to 78. Our first summer bill after the install was $950. The prior year with the old system it was $650. Then the next one a little over $1000. Repeat that the following year with calls requesting for servicing from them. So... our daughter hooked us up with her former employee who owns an AC business now. He came out and after doing some investigating of the unit itself he pulled off the UV light from the air handler in the garage. He noticed warm air right away which should be very cold. The air tested 76 degrees which is bad. The thermostat was wired wrong and BOTH the heater and AC have been turning on simultaneously!!! After he rewired the new thermostat we bought, it tested 38 degrees and we no longer sweat the bed as a result of fearing our next energy bill. All is working well now and I can actually get a chill. I was not about to call them out a sixth time. They are not skilled or something more sinister is at play. I don't know. I'm just so thankful that it is fixed because it has been very depressing having spent $15000 on a new system only to have extremely elevated bills. Be ware.
