Afterward there were some shady teenagers who came in with obvious bad intentions. He caught them in the act of shoplifting and made them leave. It was after this that he was finally able to greet me at the shoe rack. I went in for a pair of shoes and a board but I ended walking out with a skate tool, an outfit for my lady and that's all thanks to his great service/ salesmanship. Shiekh is a dying chain as the company filed for bankruptcy a few years ago, they're shrinking in…read moresize by closing down a lot of their locations, San Diego was no exception, as the location in Plaza Bonita closed and become a VR game store, not they have a smaller one in Chula Vista mall, hiding behind a bunch of restaurants, lucky for them they have a partnership with Sangre Mia by actor Diego Tinoco to attract some customers, but they didn't do very well either with line management nor boosting up the sales, they could have printed out a bunch of Diego pictures and provided them to the people who waited in line, maybe they would get some business traction, instead they have signs posted on the windows, but they refused to give them to anyone, people who came to the meet and greet had to buy stuffs or bring their own items for Diego to sign, not Diego fault, but it is not a good business strategy here, hope you guys improve in the future especially you organized an event during Comic Con.

However, the combination of the leather tightening back with non use and my feet getting older and fatter, also I had a bunion removed two years ago, I could't get these babies on my feet. I called the store and they said they could stretch them out for me. Not only did they stretch the shoes to a workable size for free, they also went above and beyond and polished my shoes as well. This service is why I come to Ferragamo for goods made to last. Thank you to the team at the San Diego store. While their online experience kinda sucks, with unclear email notifications and incorrect inventory lists, my in-store experience has been great! The staff at this location are on their game! They fulfill in-store pickup orders blazingly fast and mark them accordingly so I get the crappy notifications from their website that something happened with my orders. When I have to call to confirm, because those crappy emails aren't clear which items are ready, the staff answers the phone promptly, politely and know exactly what I'm asking about so I don't feel like a complete idiot for calling. My visits to this store have also gone well. The staff have been helpful locating in-store items I could not order online, despite the crappy search capabilities of their systems. additionally, the staff I interacted with have been friendly (not stalker-like; following me all over the store) and are quick to check inventory and open the dressing rooms for my daughter to try items.
