Amy greeted me with a beautiful smile and asked if she could help. She listened and then suggested a few shoes. She patiently helped me try on several pairs. Of course, the pair I found the most comfortable are the most expensive and considering that I am engaged in a physical therapy regimen I decided to ask my therapist for his advice. What I didn't realise that I had FOUR, not TEN, days to pick my order up. The check-out page in the newbalance.com website shows that the order would be held for ten days. I was one day late and missed the pick-up. When I showed up, the store claimed not to have my order anymore. Really??? That fast in getting rid of my order??? I contacted New Balance customer service to complain. Apparently, this store policy conflicted with New Balance's 10-day hold. Then, my pre-authorisation payment was held up (could be up to seven days). So, I have decided to report the discrepancy with the store and corporate policies to FTC and Better Business Bureau because it involves my money that hadn't been released to my bank account for five days. Well I wore them around my house for a week , I had so much foot pain and they were too big. I bought a pair of black shoes at Comfort that I thought would work -- they felt fine when I walked around the store. But after I took them home and wore them for a day, they began hurting right around the bunion. Brad, the manager actually allowed me to return the shoes I had already worn, and gave me a store credit. I could not believe it!
