    This location of Vans is in the Tustin Marketplace area. Compared to other locations, it is easier to access since the storefront has direct access from the parking lot, unlike other Vans where you may need to navigate through the mall or shopping area. It's convenient if you wanted to make a quick run in and out. I came here because I was looking for comfortable walking shoes for an upcoming trip. Living in Orange County, my primary footwear of choice are my Rainbow flip flops, but those won't be appropriate for where I plan on going. Jessie H helped me in the shoe section. She was super informative and helpful. Since I was planning on doing a lot of walking, she recommended their ComfyCush shoe line where it has a lightweight feel for walking and a soft cushion padding. Due to the padding and things, if you try on this shoe, get a half size larger than usual. I tried on the Old Skool ComfyCush ($75) in the Black. I also asked to try on the Grey Authentics ($55), cause my boyfriend has the same pair in men's size. I really appreciated that Jessie strung the laces for me super quick and nicely. I tried a style on each feet and took a few circles around the store. The authentics are so cute and I would love to match with my boyfriend but for the purpose of walking long distances and being comfortable, I had to go with the comfycush. I can always come back to get the authentics another day. Honestly, I probably will get them on a subsequent visit. In addition to the friendly service from Jessie H, the other sales associates at the store were also friendly and engaging. They were very helpful and fun to chat with while I was trying to narrow down my decision. I appreciated their above and beyond service and I was more than happy to do the store survey for them. I will definitely come back to this location for future shoe purchases and other Vans products.

    Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Because of them we bought 2 pairs of shoes. Will be coming back on the 4th to use our $25 coupons.

I visited Nordstrom Rack Store #0168 in Tustin to correct a return error that originated with the store. Nordstrom Customer Service had already researched the transaction, confirmed the discrepancy, and instructed me to return to the store so it could be corrected. Instead of receiving help, I was questioned as though I had committed a crime. I was asked irrelevant questions, repeatedly insinuated to have switched merchandise, and treated with suspicion despite providing receipts, transaction details, and documentation supporting my claim. The entire interaction took place in front of other customers, leaving me feeling publicly humiliated and racially profiled while simply trying to resolve a mistake that was not mine. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told to come back another day. I was never given a manager's name or corporate contact information and was ultimately told to leave the store without any attempt to resolve the issue. No customer should be treated this way. I sincerely hope Nordstrom Corporate investigates this location and ensures that other customers are treated with the professionalism, dignity, and respect that have always made Nordstrom stand out.

    If there's one word to sum up this location, it's chaotic…read more The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star is because last minute, the employee honored my request of giving me my birthday discount despite the discount showing up in my email inbox (I was a LOFT member and received ALL emails except my birthday email - not sure why). I made a few pitstops for my birthday and LOFT was one of them. I have to say that this was the WORST pitstop that I made this day, as I felt a bit on edge when an Asian cashier with short hair was "helping" me out. I'm not sure if it's a cultural/background difference or upbringing (I'm also Asian), but I felt that she was extremely short and condescending with me any time I opened my mouth to say something. For example, I requested that I'd like to buy the dress I currently had in my hands in a larger size (I was going to exchange or return the dress I already bought in Size 8, but I wanted a Size 10 if available in the store or online. When I told her this, I felt "attacked" when she's like "it's not in the store, it's online" and I told her simply that I could buy it online. She then again rudely was like "it's not in the store". And there were many statements following that were similar in pattern where I'd say something and she'd talk over me. At this point, I was like "wtf" because I obviously mentioned that I was okay buying it online. It was like every time I said something ro answered her, she hit me with words that made NO sense to my past statement - like she wasn't even listening to me or she was trying to talk over what I say. I got so annoyed to the point where I tried to ask a different employee for help, and that employee seemed extremely confused. There was also a line behind me and two cashiers at the register, but only one cashier was helping customers at a time. When the customer behind me asked if there was another cashier who could help, an employee walking by looked confused and "tried" to fetch somebody, but ended up getting distracted by a different customer. It's like the employees here do NOT know how to work in customer service - they're either rude or somehow confused. I felt extremely uncomfortable and uneasy throughout my entire transaction and told myself I'd never come back. However, I am honest with my word and will add that it was nice of her in the end to manually give me my birthday discount that didn't show up in my email inbox so I will give this experience one star up. I do wish we communicated better, but I'm not sure if it was a cultural difference (the way she was talking was naturally just more "short" or "blunt") or if she is actually just a rude person because she was somewhat trying to help me but it was also coming off very rude. Regardless, I will never be coming back because I don't like to feel this level of discomfort when shopping, but I do appreciate the gesture she did for me in the end.
