came in at the right time. they were about to close in a couple of minutes, and me and the sister were looking for some drip while visiting from SD. First off that BQL (banana Que Latte) was spot on *AMAZING*. The langka (jackfruit) and banana were all in there. Like you totally can taste it. It was balanced so well. Tho, I think it should be turon Latte (spring roll wrapped banana with jackfruit inside) not Banana que. But totally love this drink!! this alone make me want to go back again. its a small boutique but clean, and nice wall photos too.the moment we walked in the coffee aroma welcomed us. I love it!! Other than the BQL we ordered BSL (brown sugar) they do have milk alternative such as pistachio, oat, almond, etc. We didn't get to see other options for pastries since most were all gone by the time we got there. Overall, I would def recommend this place for anyone visiting PSP, Cath City, Palm Dessert, Indio or Coachella. Five starts would totally recommend and will becoming back in the near future. Thank you for bringing such good drinks to the Valley!

Very popular Filipino fusion cafe. Vibes inside are great, feels like a small business and the person taking our order said their coffee beans come straight from the Philippines. My partner and I thought the drinks were okay. He got a panda latte and I got pistachio. Both were more on the milky side in my opinion, the syrup flavors were there but on the mild side. Note on the menu the varraco latte is a plain latte and the Pinoy varraco is an americano. I would want to go back and try just their drip/cold brew to judge the coffee better. The stand out thing about this coffee shop is the pastries. We tried the pork adobo padesal, sisig burrito, and beef empanada. All were very good but my favorite being the pandesal. Service was very friendly and they do have a rewards system via phone number that includes a birthday reward. Parking in a shopping complex so no issues there. There is no restroom available for customers. Inside seating is limited, maybe about 10 stools as pictured with low tables and one outlet near the couch in the back. Much more abundant outdoor seating. Would not come here to study based on seating but will be back to try more

While I loved the aesthetic of this Filipino-inspired cafe, my friend and I thought our drinks were mid. I ordered the Pandan latte and while it was pretty green in color, I could barely taste the Pandan. Not sure if that was more food coloring than flavoring. The drink was also pretty milky. For $9 with oat milk this was not worth it, but it wasn't terrible. My friend ordered the ube matcha and she felt similarly. She couldn't really taste the ube flavor. This spot offers a lot of unique Filipino menu items, but the execution is a bit disappointing.

Got the pandan latte and the strawberry rose latte - amazing! Their breakfast burrito was so good - very unique flavor tying it back to Filipino flavors. My boyfriend ended up getting a second one because it was too good! The bagel was great as well! Great find in the high desert!

Pastries!

Variety of pastries and the drink was nice and sweet! There were quite a bit of people but my drink came out quickly. Minimal seating area and dog friendly.

Quaint little coffee shop (philipino flavors) with so much to offer, definitely one of my favorites in the desert! Love Theres parking in the front (limited) but a lot more in the back. They have coffee, matchas, and delicious pastries. Customer service is always great, and very willing to answer any question! Tried their iced Pandan latte (comes with coconut milk) and I added cold foam. Very different but delicious taste! Definitely try if your feeling adventurous. Husband got the BananaQ latte with pistachio milk and extra shot, also delicious. A must try if you are in the area!

Made time to visit this place after all the Coachella partying! Ofcourse found this place on Yelp looking for matcha in the area. It was fairly busy when we got there on a Monday morning but the staff was efficient. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. They're also roasting beans! We got the ube matcha, brown sugar latte, adobo pandesal and sisig burrito. W tip everything came up to around $40. The ube matcha was delicious - matcha was strong and you could taste the ube. The brown sugar latte was amazing - the beans truly shine. The adobo pandesal is soft and full of flavor. The sisig burrito was also delicious - I wish there's rice in it but the crispy pieces made up for it. I recommend this place if you're in the area. Will add this as a new stop whenever we're in the desert.

Sisig burrito, beef and chicken empanada

First time trying this coffee shop and everything was amazing! We got the pandan and banana latte. We also had the Sisig burrito, which is a Filipino breakfast burrito, and the empanadas. All of it was amazing. The service was great and the ambiance is very chill.

Varraco Coffee was one of my favorite escapes in Palm Desert, especially when I'm looking for a calm, minimalist space to relax. Their Strawberry Matcha is really good without being overly sweet and the Banana Q Latte is such a hidden gem. Shoutout to the barista that put me on! What really brings me back, though, is how genuinely kind the baristas are; their warm service makes the whole experience feel personal and welcoming every time I walk through the door.

I come here often for the amazing Filipino coffee and Filipino baked goods! One of the best places to come by if you're looking for a unique coffee shop. Note to owner: The staff does not mention that even though the food is not on the display, that there is still some available in the back. I almost left without getting food because I thought it was sold out. Isha took my order and forgot to bring out 3 hot items. I had to ask multiple times to get my food and to have it warmed up...while she was using her phone.

Grabbed some coffee on our way to the zoo today, chose the right place!! Husband had the Pinoy latte which was basically an americano and I have the Varraco latte. Both great choices. Loved how the latte was strong but not sweet! We had to try some pastries so beef empanada, adobo pandesal and almond croissant. We opted to have our croissant warmed up. Beef empanada I wouldn't order again, but the adobo pandesal was delicious. It was a bun filled with pork, so tasty, the croissant was flaky and great too. Would love to try other products. Anyways, it was busy but service was quick!

Bean Roasting

The coffee here is so delicious! We had the Banana Q latte and the brown sugar latte and both were delicious. There is pretty limited seating in the actual shop and the chairs don't make it a conducive space to stay for too long. They had so many delicious looking pastries. We got the almond croissant which was tasty- I like mine with a bit more filling but the croissant base was nice and buttery! They roast the beans right in front of you which is so unique and fun! A great place to stop for a quick drink if you want great coffee and fun syrup flavors.

Filipino inspired offerings in Palm Desert? Opo! Ube Matcha Latte - Oh yeah! More Ube forward than expected which was fine with me. Adobo Pandesal - Delicious! Guava Bread - Righteous! Staff - Great!

They have a pretty creative menu with a lot of unique syrups and drink concoctions so it made it hard for me to choose. I asked the worker for her recommendations and she kindly explained the menu to me. I was sold when I heard about the cafe de olla being made in-house and fresh at that -- she pointed to the vat right behind her. So, I got the iced cafe de olla latte and it was the perfect sweetness with hints of spice that added flavor to the coffee. I would order this again and wanted to come back here the same day. There was no line when I went but they was a line forming when I was leaving. There's no seating area so it's more of a grab-and-go place.

The funny thing? While the retail was still shuttered, the cafés and entertainment spots were already buzzing. That contrast -- empty storefronts on one side, the smell of fresh coffee on the other -- gave the whole place a quiet but inviting vibe. I walked into Xanti's and ordered two drinks: a strong macchiato (because sometimes you just need that punch) and a hot lavender matcha for balance. Total was $11.25, which felt more than fair. I tried paying with a $100 bill, but the barista politely explained they couldn't take it. No stress, no attitude -- just professional and smooth. Service really stood out here. The barista, a friendly guy with calm energy, not only took the order but noticed I'd settled into my phone at the table. A couple of minutes later, he personally brought both drinks over. That simple gesture made the experience feel way more personal than you'd expect from a mall coffee stop. As for the drinks? The macchiato was bold, clean, and exactly the kind of kick I needed. The lavender matcha surprised me -- creamy, floral, not too sweet, just enough to feel like a treat. Together, they struck a perfect balance: one to wake me up, one to slow me down. So yeah, it's technically "just" a coffee spot in a mall, but don't let that fool you. Between the timing, the vibe, and the barista's extra touch, it was one of those experiences that sticks.

The eclectic mismatched cups were be beautiful as was the presentation...same thing with the food! We were in town for a girls weekend and the first day 3 of us went on a whim because it was close to our resort and looked really interesting. The whimsical eclectic decor was so cute and fun, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive on a Friday morning. We loved it so much we decided to bring our whole group back on a Saturday morning. They told us to make a reservation and recommended the table near the front. So we reserved that. It was a bit disappointing that when we arrived the next day with the large group they didn't seem to be ready for us. They wanted to put us at a different table because they had pulled a section of table out to accommodate a solo diner. But they did eventually remedy that so we could sit at the original table. Now granted they had warned that it gets busy on a Saturday but it wasn't super busy when we arrived, so a little surprising that we were seated for about an hour before we got our order taken and no one came earlier to ask us about beverages first before coming to take out food order it took a long time to get our drinks and even longer to get our food...and also surprised that no one ever acknowledged the long wait times...but we were having fun catching up since we don't all see each other often, so easily able to pass the time and everyone agreed it was worth the wait. The menu is pretty extensive literally something for everyone from sweet to savory breakfast or combination of both. Some of the highlights were the breakfast burrito, linguica and eggs, anything that had the fresh flour tortillas, really. The berry Belgian waffle & biscuits and gravy were all raved about as well. Everyone also loved the take on the black beans, looked like refried but maybe with a bit of cotija cheese mixed in as almost a light purple color. We would all definitely come again and have already recommended to friends just not on a Saturday unless you go when they open or maybe with a smaller group.
